Elena gave a grin clearly pleased at the potential acceptance of the invitation.
"You'll love it there. We're based out of an old castle estate in West Sussex, it's nowhere near as big as Hogwarts but it's home."

They certainly believed her in that. Qrow very rarely travelled down south; the only time they ever did was when their dads had taken them to the ministry and when they had first boarded the train to Hogwarts. Their family mainly stayed up North and the prospect of being able to go down to Sussex was rather exciting.

Of course, the entire thing would likely have to be put on hold. Their mother was sick after all and whilst she would undoubtedly try and push the child into going, they would feel guilty for leaving her during the one time that they were actually able to visit her. They were so used to spending all of their time with her that it was rather odd being at Hogwarts so far away.

"I'd be honoured. If you ever need help around this place, you can let me know. I remember my first year and I didn't know anyone like at all but allow me to be that familiar face." She said.

There was something inherently comforting about knowing that there was somebody here to help them should they need it.
The bell rang and Qrow realised that they needed to get to their next class, and as much as they weren’t too happy about leaving the library and Elena, they were excited for potions. They quickly shoved their discarded book in their bag before turning to their new friend.
“It was lovely to meet you, but I really must get to my next class. Feel free to owl me and I’ll keep an eye out around school for you should I ever need help! I can’t wait to come visit!”

With their goodbyes done, the redheaded Slytherin left, making haste to get to their next class.

Wait, have I just been adopted by an upper year? AND A BLOODY GRYFFINDOR NO LESS! This should be interesting…
