Closed The Weight of Memories

I woke up early, the excitement and nervousness already taking hold of me. Today was my first day at Hogwarts, and I couldn't wait to explore everything it had to offer. But the thought of being surrounded by strangers in a new place made my stomach churn with anxiety.

I decided to distract myself by doing something I loved. Grabbing my guitar and notebook, I tiptoed down the stairs to the common room, hoping to find a quiet spot to play some music. The empty room welcomed me with open arms, and I felt at ease as I began strumming my favorite song from back home, "Somewhere Only We Know."

As I lost myself in the music a few songs later, the hunger pangs in my stomach reminded me that it was time for breakfast. The thought of facing the unfamiliar faces in the Great Hall made me anxious once again, but I knew I couldn't skip a meal.

Walking through the tall doors of the Great Hall, I tried to blend in with the crowd, hoping no one would notice the nervousness etched on my face. I searched for the least crowded spot at the table, feeling like a small fish in a big pond.

I grabbed some strawberries and almonds, and pulled out my drawing pad to calm my nerves. As I started sketching, my mind wandered to a memory of a girl standing at the edge of a cliff, looking out at a vast and empty landscape with a storm brewing on the horizon. The image reminded me of the overwhelming feeling I had at that moment, remembering too much and feeling too little.

More than she was known for her accomplishments, she was known for the way she loved.

To not dance when you have the health and can hear the music could be the biggest regret of your life.
