Morning Feast Closed Hufflepuff's table

Madi walked into the Great Hall, once again amazed by the sight of it all. She was never late, always early or on time, because that was simply the way she did things. Seeing very few Ravenclaws at her table, she pulled out the book she had brought with her and began to read. That way, if anyone was there, she could pretend she was engrossed in her book so she wouldn't have to engage in any conversa. It wasn't that she was shy, but she just preferred not talking to people. Why talk when you could be reading, is what she wanted to know.
With a loud pop, food appeared on the table. There was everything from bacon to porridge, from eggs to pumpkin juice. She began helping herself to a plate of bacon.
Almost exactly as the food appeared, more students started trickling in. But three minutes after the food came out, a boy wearing a yellow and black tie entered. He was one of the last Hufflepuffs to come in, and once he sat down, he began drawing, which was unlike anything Madi had seen in all her days so far at Hogwarts. She continued sneaking glances, trying to see what he was drawing.

Daniel seemed to be getting lost in his little world, eating a lot while drawing, but from afar, at the ravenclaw table, where the girl watched Daniel with her book in her hand, it was possible to see what he was drawing, it seemed to be some kind of creature, it was hard to tell if it was a hippogriff or a manticore.

He looked kind of alone while eating (which apparently appeared to be pancakes with honey) but at least the boy seemed entertained in his drawing, and after a few minutes Daniel stops drawing, and starts watching the other tables, in which he ends up seeing one of the ravenclaw girls watching him, he starts to look at her intrigued

He seems distracted by the noise the students make in the morning, and he just sits and observes his surroundings, Meanwhile, the owls passed by delivering their morning letters along with the daily newspaper, he kept watching the owls delivering things half impressed. He kept glancing at the Ravenclaw girl who had been watching him from time to time, trying not to maintain eye contact but at the same time looking interested, he laughed a little because of one of the owls bumping into the other.

Madi pulled open her book again and tried not to wonder what the Hufflepuff boy was drawing, and why he wasn't talking to his House. She'd heard somewhere (probably in a book) that Hufflepuffs were the most social House, but this boy seemed like he preferred watching people over talking to them. Stop watching him, Madi thought it's creepy. Madi tried to knock herself out of it and instead focused on all the mail people had gotten. Her family never sent her any letters, as they were Muggles and not comfortable using an owl to send messages. Breakfast seemed to drag on forever, the minute a plate of food was finished it came back. These people never had full stomachs. They could eat for what seemed like forever. Madi got sick after eating two helpings. So, like always when Madi was bored, she buried her nose in a book. But this time, she wasn't focused on it, and instead her mind wandered everywhere. She looked back at the strange Hufflepuff boy, at the owls still soaring above her head, and at her fellow Ravenclaws, many of which still eating, and the others still talking to friends. Her attention span was very short, shorter than most people's, anyway.

Daniel was watching the owls, and when he sees an owl with light and slightly brown feathers, he seems to be very excited, she was carrying a letter very different from the others, it was packed with stamps, It seemed to be something more muggle than normal Wizards letters, The owl drops the letter on top of his head, and he laughs a little, waving goodbye to the owl, who brushes his hair and flies out of the castle, The boy then opens the letter and starts reading with a smile it seemed to be something very personal so he read a little more secretly

It seemed to take him a while to read that letter, and when he finished, he folded it and placed it inside his sketchbook.

He hadn't even realized that most of the students had already finished eating and were talking to each other, he starts looking around, and stares at the Ravenclaw girl from afar, And then after a few seconds of staring at her, Then he lets out a smile and just as he seems to be getting up, he hears the teachers give their opening speeches, and he stays in place until they finish. And when the students they started to leave their desks to go to classes, Daniel gets up quickly and goes towards the girl, all that shyness of not talking to anyone it was suddenly gone "I saw you staring at me over there in the main hall, what's your name?"

He tries to speak in a friendly manner but his tone Accidentally ends up sounding more like a scolding.

Madi was listening intently to the teachers' speeches, putting her book down and watching them. When they finally finished, she watched students get up and converse with friends from other Houses and leave for class. This was her signal first class was about to start, so she began getting her things packed, shutting her book and putting it in her bag. She was ready to go to class, so she was about to stand up, but when she turned around to stand up, there was already someone in front of her.
"I saw you staring at me over in the main hall, what's your name? the boy asked. Madi jumped. She didn't think he would come up to her, much less talk to her. He sounded rather unpleased, but Madi hadn't expected him to be joyful seeing a Ravenclaw girl watch him. Madi hoped he wasn't very angry with her. She hated when people were mad at her. She mustered all her courage to respond.
"S-sorry. Uhm, my name's Madi. What's yours?" Madi found it better to speak in what she hoped was a friendly voice, rather than a harsh one. Students around her were getting up and leaving for their first classes, but she wasn't joining them like usual.

The boy kept staring into her eyes, he had a neutral expression but he seemed very curious and attentive.

"Madi, funny name.. mine's Daniel! Daniel Hellsing." He again speaks in that tone that he believed was friendly but ends up coming off as passive aggressive for some reason.

He notices the girl's nervousness and his neutral expression disappears, he gets a little awkward because of her reaction "No, I didn't think it was rude that you were staring at me.. Ehn.. nevermind" He finally managed to make his tone more friendly, it seemed that his confidence ended up making his tone a little aggressive.

"It's not like you don't come from a house that has an eagle as a symbol, right, eagle eyes Huh?" He says laughing a little, and he keeps looking at the other students still taking a while to get to their classrooms. "I thought Ravenclaw's didn't like talking to other houses" He didn't seem to break eye contact, at least not until he needed to see if the students had already gone to their classes.

"What were you reading? I saw you like to stick their face in books" He says a little curious, his tone a little calmer, I think he had managed to tune his tone so as not to sound aggressive unintentionally. "If you don't mind me asking of course.." He completes, sometimes he forgot to be less intrusive.

Madi was startled. Her name was funny? She shook that off, she often overlooked the little things.
"I don't normally watch people. I just wanted to see what you were drawing. Sorry if that's creepy! I promise I'm not normally creepy." Madi was speaking rather fast. She looked around and was glad to see there were still people around, that not everyone had left for their class, so that they might help her if the boy (Daniel Hellsing) pulled an Unforgivable Curse on her. He didn't seem like the person to do it, he was in Hufflepuff after all, but you could never be too careful.
"I thought Ravenclaws didn't like talking to other houses?" the boy said suddenly. Madi awoke from her trance.
"I mean, you kind of came up to me, but I'm not going to leave or send you off, that's a bit rude." Madi hoped her tone didn't sound accusing. But he was not breaking eye contact, which always made her feel more awkward.
"Okay. What were you reading? I saw you like to stick your face in books. If you don't mind me asking, of course." He smiled at Madi, and tried to look at the cover of her book, which was hidden from view. She pulled it out. If there was one thing she liked talking about, it was books.
"Erm, it's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I'm new to the Wizarding World, so I'm quite interested in all the new creatures." Madi said. She wasn't uncomfortable this time. Books were her thing.

The boy smiled and started to laugh. "Creepy? Of course not! It's okay, if you wanted to see my drawings you could have just asked" His tone of voice was always slightly intimidating, but when he laughed he finally seemed friendly. Daniel takes his sketchbook and opens it showing some pages for her, they had several drawings of different creatures, some drawings of Hogwarts Castle itself and some sketches of random faces "Here is that what you wanted to see?"

He breaks that petrified eye contact he had, and he looks a little looser "I'm quite surprised you didn't send me away, I heard Ravenclaw were hard to deal with" He keeps the sketchbook tucked between his arm.

Daniel seemed to hold back a lot when he saw the book she was reading, he looked very excited but tried not to show his enthusiasm "New? Oh so you came from a muggle home too?" He really sucked at hiding his enthusiasm, even though he had a rather neutral face.

He tries to hide his smile "I really like creatures too but dont tell anyone.. i heard one of the Hufflepuff girls say they like magical creatures a lot and they told her It was such a "clichê" thing for a Hufflepuff to like" He leans close to her whispering a little so the other students couldn't hear, after all they were still a little lost looking for their classrooms

Madi wasn't exactly good at asking people things, so that was probably why she hadn't. She thought the drawings were pretty good, and she proceeded to compliment him on them.
"You're a good artist!" Madi said. She had always enjoyed art, all she had no talent for it.
The boy said something new. Madi was shocked. Ravenclaws were hard to deal with? She'd always found them the smartest, most creative, the wisest House. Maybe they seemed like know-it-alls to others, but sometimes people needed a know-it-all. She thought there should be at least one person who actually has common sense in a friend group.
"Oh yeah! I did grow up with Muggles." Madi stifled a laugh. She found his excited look funny. There were probably other muggle-borns in Hufflepuff, right? Madi didn't know. She hadn't gone around and asked everyone what their blood status was.
"Cliche? Madi said, rolling her eyes. "It's not 'cliche' to like magical creatures! But don't worry, your secret is safe with me." They smiled, and after a while, nearly everyone had gotten up, and Madi had decided it was time to go to class. She knew Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs had the same first class.
"Well, should we go to class? I don't want to be late." Madi suggested.
