It wouldn’t be the first time he was tempted to poke his nose into someone else’s business just to satisfy his curiosity. He was a teenage boy with a tendency to get tremendously bored. Instead of working out healthy habits to deal with them, it was far more simpler to insert himself in situations he was not invited to. Most of the time, those had worked out in his favour. People could be interesting when they were equally as bored as he is. Other times, he would be told to bugger off. To no one's surprise, including Hanako. Still, that had never seemed to stop him from trying out his luck when interesting things came across his pathway. Apparently, today would be one of those lucky days.
A curious student whom he had never seen before, without a care in the world- had been walking like she was a kid with high sugar buzz. She was basically jumping up and down as she walked, the broom in her hand bobbing as she does so. She wore no Hogwarts uniform, and it got Hanako thinking that she was one of those students from different schools. More importantly; she was pretty. Very pretty.
He was certain she didn’t spot him at first, but as she turned to another corridor, Hanako with a not too subtle smirk, dropped whatever he was doing and followed her with a safe distance. A bit of a creep, sure. But this was how it usually goes. Someone good-looking catching his attention, him being him- just going with it, and then this could go either way. A, where Hanako’s flirting is less than appreciated and he leaves. Or B, they both have fun. How could he know which one was which if he didn’t try it out first?
He had no problem figuring out where she was leading him. They arrived in the quidditch pitch. A place with mixed memories of cheering for Rainwoods victory, as well as his downfall. Truthfully, was there really anywhere he could escape memories of him? Hanako shook his head before entering the area. This was no time to be thinking about that guy. She was here, after all. The pretty lady that caught his attention. People certainly were the best distraction.
From a safe distance, though not so hidden anymore, Hanako watched curiously as she zoomed up into the sky with ease. A shame for him, really. The higher she got, the less he could appreciate her face. Still, there was something about her flying that caught his attention. The last time he had caught someone practising their flying, they were screeching like an angered vella out of fright. But her? Even from all the way back down here, he could see she enjoyed it.
And that was the thing with people who genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. They were attractive when doing it. And with her looks? That’s just a bonus. Suddenly, she stopped her practice.
Ah, she saw me.
Would he get punched? Or would he get a good kiss? It was really a surprise with situations like this. But was it worth it? Definitely. He stood in his earlier position, leaning onto anything that would have supported his back and casually crossing his arms. Seemingly unbothered by her noticing him. In fact, judging by the smirk on his face - he enjoyed her attention on him.

Amina jump-walked through the castle, her silver arrow shouldered and with her usual grin on her face. Finally she had time to get back outside and up in the air. One second longer on the floor and she would explode, she was sure of it.
Her chin-length red hair bounced in rhythm with her energetic steps and a few oncoming students gave her strange looks. The young Bulgarian answered this with a smile and a smile. "Helloooo. How are you?" She did not wait for an answer, however, but headed purposefully through the corridors out onto the grounds.
When the fresh wind of spring hit her face, she paused briefly and closed her eyes in pleasure. Amina was a bit like a hippogriff. She could be kept happy for a while with snacks and homage, but sooner or later she would have to stretch her wings and ride the winds. And this was overdue.
As always, she wasn’t really aware of her surroundings as long as it wasn’t in her way, and didn't notice that she had picked up a shadow along the way.
Among the black Hogwarts robes, her bright red sweater, which clashed beautifully with her hair, shone like a beacon and was really hard to miss.
As she set off again and strolled across the lawn, she still did catch a few glances. Her grin grew even wider and whistling, she made her way to the Quidditch pitch in a good mood.
Even though she didn't care much for the opinions of others, she did enjoy the attention and recognition to a certain extent.
When she reached her destination, she immediately felt at home. Admittedly, she had probably spent most of her life on the broom and the Quidditch pitch.
The tiers were deserted and she couldn't see anyone in the air either. Amina wouldn't have minded company, but that was just fine as well.
Electrified with anticipation, she swung herself onto her loyal broom and gently patted the shaft. “Ready, buddy?” She could feel the wood vibrating excitingly under her fingers and her features softened. With a soft smile, she looked up at the almost cloudless sky. She and her broom really shared a temper. “Then go!”
Powerfully, she pushed herself off the ground, pointed the broom vertically upward and nestled close to the shaft. She shot up into the sky like a rocket, the wind whipping her face and taking her breath away. "Woohooo!" The words were torn from her lips before they had completely left her mouth. As always with her fast takeoff, it felt a bit like she had left her stomach down as she shot into dizzying heights.
Aerodynamically pressed against her silver arrow, she felt the blasts of air glide over her as she punched through it like a spearhead.
Anyone who knew anything about Quidditch could see that she clearly knew what she was doing. In mid-air, she leaned steeply forward, bringing the broom from a strong rise almost into a free fall.
Like a bullet, she hurtled towards the ground, only to pull the broom into a sharp turn after a few meters and gently return to horizontal position, but still in an incredible sprint.
She loved to fly! She was light, wild, free!
And that's when she saw him. near the bleachers, he leaned casually against the wall and looked up at her. He was just a small figure from up here. Was it the samurai from the ball or someone else?
Hm, figuring that out shouldn't be a problem.
Spurring her broom on, she leaned low over the shaft again and pushed it further down. She shot toward the poor person, on and on. Her cheeky grin returned to her face. What the mysterious spectator didn't know was that the audience was always involved in her shows - voluntarily or involuntarily.
Shortly before him, she steered the broom upwards and at the same time let herself glide down at full speed. With a full brake in the air, she stopped elegantly in front of him and landed light-footed on the ground.
Her hair was disheveled and she casually ran her free hand through it. Curiously, she looked at the boy who wore a similar grin as herself. She was not empathetic enough to interpret this and to suspect an intention behind it - Truth be told, she was not interested in it either. She was just happy to have someone to play with. Her light green eyes flashed amusedly and examined him briefly. Not the samurai but very pretty, she had to admit. "Hey, pretty boy! Staring at me or my broom? Both would be an acceptable answer.” With a smirk she tilted her head and teasingly raised her eyebrows. She had switched to english and her american accent was surely noticable. "Just watching or also doing something? Want me to take you for a ride?”

He had no idea about quidditch. Sure, he had a tendency to live with quidditch lovers. And he had attended games, but like most sports apart from dueling, Hanako hadn’t really found any fond love for them. So his idea of what people were doing during quidditch could be explained such like: okay so they whooshed left, then right, then up. And they got the quiaffle. And then score. And then bam snitch caught game over. That was the limit of his knowledge.
So whatever the pretty girl was doing, he had no idea what it was. To him she were just zooming here and there. It didn’t make her any less mesmerising to see. Even when she had gracefully landed in front of him with her hair in a disarray, the sight of her managed to make his heart skip a beat and his smirk grow. Oh yeah, he certainly liked what he was seeing. How could he not?
The girl had dyed hair, carefully styled around her face frame. Doing wonders to her already pretty features. Even without it, Hanako could easily be lost in the fresh pale green eyes of her without question. Everything about her just screamed hot. No poetic wording needed. She was just plain hot.
"Hey, pretty boy! Staring at me or my broom? Both would be an acceptable answer.” with a flicker of a smirk and playful eyes, Hanako knew at that moment that they would get along just fine. Plus, she had called him pretty boy. A bit of an overused description of him, but originality wasn’t all that important in games like these.
“ And both are my answers, actually. But truthfully, I have to say it’s more for you, than your broom“ he glanced at her broom and gave a faux apologetic look. “ No offence, Broom “
"Just watching or also doing something? Want me to take you for a ride?”
“ Oooohhh~” he gave a cheeky laugh. “ A ride before our first date? You really know how to make a guy’s heart race, do you~?” He knew she meant her broom, but the joke was too irresistible to resist when it was set up so easily like that. He took note of the accent she used. Maybe from Ilvermorny? “ Sadly, heights are a tad bit scary for me, you see “ he shrugged casually, his playful tone still in full swing. Hey, if he had to pretend to be a damsel to get the girl, then it would be one of his most overused tactics to have this sort of fun. It’s not like he was looking too serious about it, most would be able to tell he’s joking. But how she reacts to it, well that’s up to her.
“ Although…” he trailed off as if thinking of the most brilliant idea ever. He pushed himself off the support from the walls and uncrossed his arms, getting a tad closer to the pretty girl. Amusement flickering in his kind brown eyes. “ But you do make it look quite fun earlier. I’m quite tempted to give it a try again. For more reasons than one” he gave a quick wink to the pretty girl. “ I’ll give it a shot if you let me hold on really tight. So I don't fall off. Of course. Safety reasons. No other motives. “ He paused, the next words were said slow and steady, yet much quieter than his earlier quips. Just loud enough for her to hear. “Unless you want there to be~”
Please, it was no surprise Hanako was interested in her. From her face, to the way she acted. But it took two people to have fun. He’ll see if she’s up for it. He has no interest in playing around with someone who couldn’t handle it.

Amina was delighted with the boy’s response and her smirk deepend as she patted her broom. Normally people started to blush and mumble when she came at them like that but not this boy. Finally, someone who wasn’t too boring to fool around a little bite. After all of the serious events Amina was craving someone light hearted and fun. This situation was more than welcome. Playfully flattered, she indicated a bow. At his words to her broom, she deftly moved it out of her wrist, so that it flicked around to the boy like a hand puppet and seemed to stare at him. Amina giggled and her carefree, warm laugh made the broom quiver.
“Well, thank you. And - Don’t worry, it’s used to me stealing its spotlight.” She said it lightly and clearly didn't mean it, even if there was perhaps a bit of truth to it. she patted the broom and winked. "Come down, he didn't mean any harm. After all, he probably knows that it’s you who makes me really shine." And so she lowered her wrist so that her broom would calmly lower the style that had been so belligerently directed at the boy. She could feel the wood prickling under her fingers. The silver arrow was clearly amused by her spectacle.
She liked this boy. He looked handsome and he clearly had a sense of humor. There was also a sparkle in his almond-shaped eyes that reminded her strongly of herself. Immediately, the Durmstrang girl felt at ease. Unafraid and far from shy, she looked at him openly as he presented his dirty little joke.
A very unladylike snort escaped her and her eyes narrowed into moonlike crescents as she grinned widely. Witty he was. Amina was impressed. “Well…” She took a step closer and gave him an exaggeratedly seductive look. She was close enough to him that most would flinch back. They were at eye level and only a hand's width would separate them if he didn't take a step back. If he held on, he would even notice the scent of her conditioner, which smelled like jasmine.
The girl liked to put people in awkward positions and push boundaries. This was clearly a situation that many would not willingly put themselves in, but this is exactly where she felt comfortable. She bit her lower lip with a soft smile and let her gaze wander slowly over his face. Mhm. He was really cute. “Are you sure you could handle that ride already? Don’t get ahead of yourself and take too much on your plate. Especially if you are afraid of heights…you baby.” Merlin, she had missed toying with boys. Her smile had turned back into a smirk and she took a step back again. She purposely tried to incite his ego to climb on the broom behind her. She wouldn't have minded having his arms wrapped around her.
But fortune was on her side anyway. Great minds think alike, that’s what they say, right? He apparently had the same thought.
When he agreed to climb on behind her under very questionable conditions and exactly her thoughts she couldn’t help but giggle once more. "Subtle.” She evaluated amused with her eyebrows raised. “I like it." A knowing grin curled her lips and a spark lit up in her eyes. Crap, she had actually wanted to make that joke. But she could also take great pleasure in the fact that someone was on the same wavelength of her humor.
Dramatically, she swung her leg over the broom, turned, and gave him a bewitching look over her shoulder. "Well then, noble knight. Get on behind me and ride with me on the winds. Hold on tight and no harm will come to you!" She imitated the slender manner of a damsel and looked at him with feigned innocence. But the corner of her mouth twitched.
This was going to be fun. It had been a long time since she had met someone new, and someone who jumped up so easily - in the truest sense of the word - didn't happen to her often. And he was cute. Pretty sassy boys had always been her weakness.
She grinned at him. “Don’t worry, I will keep you safe.”

While he seemed to have offended the broom somewhat, it was only the pretty girl’s obvious fondness for it that made Hana refrain from showing more unease at its existence. His eyes merely kept a cautious stare at it as it got closer. He will always prefer brooms that just not move, period. It was only the generous sweet laugh of her voice that eased the tension in his shoulders, even lifting up a satisfied smirk on his face. Well, what could he say? He was somewhat of a musician. A lovely laugh from a pretty girl would always be music to his ears. When she said the broom made her shine, she certainly told no lie. The prominent memories of her soaring through the skies still remained fresh in his brain. As he mentioned, people were the most mesmerising when they were doing what they loved. A fact that he wished to remain quiet about.
And it was a good choice too. For he would’ve been immediately tongue tied if he had said anything while she leaned in way closer. HIs mind went blank, and a faint splash of pink scattered across his cheeks. However, his eager anticipation was obvious as well. Not moving an inch a way, he seemed to relish in the closer proximity. The smirk on his face grew. His head became fuzzy from what she was doing with her lips. He struggled to keep his eyes on her eyes and not the lips she caught between her teeth. How long has it been since he became woozy from such a thing? So much so that he couldn’t even form a coherent response. He figured he’d rather enjoy the view and the bubbling sensation that was starting to built up in him.
When she moved away, the shift in distance felt too drastic that he had half the mind to pull her back in. He realised only then that he only managed to process half of what she said earlier. Good god, what was she doing to him? Probably the same thing he’d been doing to plenty of others. And from what he’s guessed, this wasn’t her first time either. Far from being jealous, he was more excited to see what other tricks she was hiding under her sleeves. He wouldn’t mind being under her spell if the reward was good. And so far, she had made it seem enticing enough.
"Subtle.” She grinned, and Hanako might as well have melted. “I like it."
“ Oh, I’m sure that won’t be the only thing you’d like about me, Mystery girl. That is, if you’re as curious about me as I am about you “. He said so with absolute confidence. Were names really needed between them? Fun was just fun. While he was absolutely loving their interactions right now, it was not a certainty they would meet again after this. He decided not to ask for it, but wouldn’t refuse if she asked first. As if names would change the heated sparks between them.
She then began playfully acting, it caught him a tad bit off guard that he let out a small laugh with half the heart to cover it up. He didn’t particularly like being caught off guard like that. But he couldn’t deny his amusement.
“ Oh trust me, babe. I'm the furthest thing from 'noble'~”. he warned playfully, but allowed himself to take her hand. “Perhaps you would fit the noble knight role more better than I. I’m already feeling safe in your hands~” he said that, but he did his utmost best to hide his discomfort as he got on the broom. While he seemed to have done a good job at it, he lacked the confidence of someone who had ridden flying brooms regularly. Sure, he had taken classes and knew the steps. But when it’s been a good while since he had done such a thing, he could do nothing about the slight rigidness in his movements.
Flying brooms. No matter how much he rode it, he felt unnatural in his hands. The same wasn't the same with his wand. That explained a lot as to why he was in duelling and not sports like broom racing and quidditch. Growing up in a muggle environment does that to you sometimes, he supposed. He was only thankful he always lived in tall buildings. Heights weren't something he should logically be scared of. He didn’t think it was a proud fact until it got him the chance to ride one with the hot girl in front of him.
As he promised, his hands hovered over her sides for a moment, as if hesitating. He then adjusted his seat behind her so he could be closer. The girl would sense the sensation of light breaths near her ear where he whispered. “ So… mind showing me how close you’re allowing me to be? “. Even if she were to decide against looking back to see his face, his smirk should’ve been fairly obvious. Perhaps this was just another tactic to help him distract himself from being nervous. If Mystery Girl had good hearing, she may be able to pick up the soft thumps of his slightly racing heart.
