New friendship
Alexis decided to take a walk around the Great Lake. She wanted to explore the grounds and see if she would make some new friends.
She stopped walking at a tree near the lake. Alexis sat down and took a book out of her school bag. She opened the book and started reading it.
While reading, Alexis was wondering if anyone would see her. She was also wondering if anyone would want to be her friend. So far she also made two new friends, but she wanted to make some more friends.
Alexis stopped reading and she decided to climb the tree, so she put the book back into her bag and began climbing the tree. Alexis stopped at a decent height and sat down on the branch. She then looked around and noticed the view was good from how high she was.
"I should've climbed this tree when I got here!" Alexis said to herself.
Alexis then took out her book and began reading again. Alexis was enjoying the book she was reading. She was glad she had picked it up from the school library when she went there. Alexis was too busy reading and too deep in her thoughts, she didn't even see the girl below her.

New friendship

This was a nice day, Linda finished lessons and homework and decided to go out. Usually in such days she liked to spend time outside the castle, so she prepared herself and went out.
She went out of her room and went to the entrance. She decided to just walk, so she didn't take any book or sketchbook or notebook with her.
What a nice time to spend here. It's good I decided to walk instead of staying inside. Today here are a lot of students. I wonder if any of my friends are here today. Though I guess they will be studying now.
While thinking about it she came closer to the Great Lake. She looked at it searching for a place to sit and noticed one tree. There was a girl with book and then she climbed up to the tree. Linda never tried to sit like that, she even couldn't think about it.
She decided to go to try to talk to the girl. Maybe she could have new friend, not that she didn't have any, but it's not bad to have one more.
"Hi there. I was sitting here under the tree so much times and never tried to sit like you. How does it feel?"

New friendship
Alexis heard some branches crack, so she decided to look up from her book. She noticed that a girl was climbing the tree. She then saw her sit beside her. Alexis closed her book and smiled at the girl. She then heard her speak. Once she was done, Alexis said,
"Hello. It's fun climbing trees. It's also fun sitting in them. You can see a different view than you can from down there."
She decided to look at the lake and wondered why she didn't come to the lake sooner. But, she decided to go to the library mostly and not the lake. Now that Alexis was here at the lake, she decided to come to the lake more often so she could meet new people and make new friends.
She then turned her attention back to the girl sitting beside her. Alexis decided to introduce herself to the girl so they could learn each other's names and maybe a little more about each other to become new friends.
"I'm Alexis, Alexis Rose. And you are?" Alexis says
Alexis was happy she came to the lake. She didn't only get to see a beautiful view, but she also met a new person who maybe would be her new friend. She hopes the girl and she could be friends. But, she'll find out soon hopefully.

——"I am Linda. Linda Ramirez. Nice to meet you, Alexis. You are right, view here is completely different. I see you like to read too, what are you reading now?"
——Linda smiled looking at Alexis and around. She was right, it was really nice to be here on tree. It looked completely different, maybe she will draw it later. Alexis, this girl seems to like reading. What else she likes to do? Maybe she could be my friend.
——It was interesting but Linda felt so nice sitting here. Now she could see that none of her friends we're here, but right now it didn't matter. Right now she is with new friend, hopefully.
——"Can you tell me about yourself?" That's gonna be really interesting and perhaps will let Linda understand if they could be friends or they will just talk a bit. Anyway they will see each other as they are from same house and same year, but friends or not that is still not obvious.
——Now sitting here Linda kinda regretted that she didn't take sketchbook. She could draw this view now. Although on the other side it's fine. It's just another reason to come back here and sit again on tree later.

New friendship
"Nice to meet you too, Linda! I'm reading a book from the library. It's very interesting. I have no idea how I can read it since it's in Latin." Alexis says showing Linda the book.
Alexis wondered why she was even able to read the book and why it was even in the library, but then again, her friend Vector did give it to her, so maybe it wasn't from the school library. She really wanted to know how she was able to translate it, but she thought that her friend had put a translation spell on the book to make it easier for Alexis to read.
"Hmmmmmmmmmm, well, I like to read. I have an older brother who's in Ravenclaw. My parents were sorted into Ravenclaw. My best friend and childhood friend Vector gave me this book. And I am from London. What about you?" Alexis says answering Linda's question.
Alexis didn't really tell her everything about herself, but she did tell her almost everything. Alexis didn't know if she could trust Linda yet. But, she will hopefully find out if she can trust her soon. By getting to know Linda better, Alexis will be able to open up more to Linda and tell her more about herself.
