well, at the spring court, they not only end things on a sour note with @Azrael Faire, but there's also a scene in the maze where their older brother, Rhun (the icky one that's homophobic and transphobic) basically alludes to that he's found out Rhys's identity (as well as Rhain's) and he basically is like "i'm gonna tell dad on you guys"
I think Rhain might convince him not to/convince him that he's delusional, mostly for Rhys's sake, but tensions are going to be high, and Rhys constantly owling their genderqueer crush is going to prompt Rhun to tease/bully them, and Rhain's probably going to punch him, and then their father finds out and so going into second year he's like, uber strict about which dorms Rhys stays in, threatens undecided stuff if they try to cut or dye their hair, and just overall really cracks down

sooooo I just found out that second year will be a heavy time for Rhys with dysphoria, basically. They're also going to have internalized stuff as a result, and will probably try to shut people out

regardless of what happens second year, tho, by third year they don't care and decide to rebel as much as possible, just to make their dad mad

Sounds like a rough year coming up for Rhys! That's kinda how Third Year has been for Simon - gaining his unsettling aura, adult fangs, starting a connection with his difficult father. I'm eager to be getting into Fourth Year soon!

I hope fourth year is a happier year for Rhys... the twins will come of age and leave Hogwarts at the end of it, and Rhain's probably just gonna be like "between you and me, just do what you want. what's he gonna do?" bc by then Rhain doesn't care about pleasing Sebastian either. Also Amelie's probably going to stop letting Sebastian get away with being the way he's been (absent yet incredibly controlling) and there might be some parental drama~

lol, if I had been able to stay active after my first character, Stella, she would be going into her 5th year, too.
I miss writing for her sometimes, and I feel bad for everyone I had threads with because I just dropped off the face of the earth xD
