A New and Accidental Meeting
Today Elena was going to the library due to the fact she had Astronomy homework to study for and she didn't understand any of it, something her parents wouldn't be proud of. Elena knew she couldn't rely on her older sister either, she was in her fourth year and understood everything Elena was currently doing but was probably off hanging out with her friends, which were more important than her little sister. So as the story goes Elena was on her own. She was on the third floor making her way up step by step, in no rush to get there. She rounded the corner past the rehearsal room and made her way to the library. Elena, only in her first year, had never been to the library and when she first saw the ginormous place, her eyes widen. Rows and Rows of bookshelves were in this endless library with bookshelves that seemed as if they were going upwards forever. Some books around the library were even flying which made Elena open her eyes even wider. This was something she wasn't expecting "Okay time to find the astronomy area," Elena whispered to herself while wincing. She wandered the bookshelves when one book pushed itself out of the shelf and knocked Elena down. When she lifted her head up she saw a girl staring at her.

A New and Accidental Meeting
𝕽orie couldn't help but smile. She remembered her first time entering the marvelous library a few weeks ago, the awe and amazement at the huge and rustic bookshelves. Watching other kids gaze at the room and wonder made Rorie happy, like she was reliving that moment.
Though, maybe staring at them was a little creepy. She had to act more natural, not like a stalker.
The girl was knocked down by a book, a heavy one. Rorie herself had made the mistake of crossing paths with the heavy text, entitled A Guide To Magical Wrestling. Ironically, the book would pin you down wrestling-style if you came too close.
Rorie tried to walk over casually, wanting to help the poor girl out.
"Are you okay? That book likes to tackle any passer-byes near it, aggressive thing it is," Rorie said kindly as she restrained the novel and put it back in its place on the shelf.
"I'm Rorie by the way. Rorie Thompson. First year, Gryffindor, though you probably figured by the tie," she added onto her first sentence, motioning to her maroon and gold tie she was wearing with the white blouse and pleated skirt.
"So, what brings you to the library?"

Elena looked up as the girl said "Are you okay? That book likes to tackle any passer-byes near it, aggressive thing it is," Elena studied the girl who had a white blouse and pleated skirt with a gold and red tie, which could only mean she was a Gryffindor.
"I'm Rorie by the way. Rorie Thompson. First year, Gryffindor, though you probably figured by the tie," she said as she motioned to her outfit. "So, what brings you to the library?" Rorie said as Elena got up to brush herself off.
"Oh my names Elena, Elena Burkley, nice to meet you," Elena said with a cheery smile. "That would explain why I was hit by a flying book," she continued looking at it suspiciously while secretly worrying about it falling out again.
"Oh, yeah I'm here for Astronomy, I kind of basically didn't get the class too well and I can't count on my older sister to help," she said with an awkward frown.
"Also, I'm Hufflepuff," Elena added snapping back into her cherry disposition as she pointed to her own tie, she was wearing a off white blouse and her favorite skirt with knee high socks with her favorite flats.
She came to the library that day wearing her favorite clothing, not really knowing who'd she meet. Elena was still a bit dizzy from when the book from the shelf hit her, but she knew she needed to get her astronomy homework finished so she proposed a question.
"Would you like to come help me find books for Astronomy, I'm behind a bit and it would be nice to get extra help?" she said with an awkward smile, not sure of what the girl would say.
