Passing Notes
Alora had never considered herself intelligent, not by any standardized means. She knew words, and she could problem solve, that was for certain, but she had never been overly great in terms of standardized testing.
"Means to make right," she responded without judgment the way her older sister would have done. It was sweeter than how the middle ones would have handled it. Alora hadn't liked how they had "helped" her with her education. "Also, you wouldn't be askin' if you were stupid," she reminded with a gentle smile and a nudge towards her friend. A real daft person would have just accepted not knowing and then tried to apply it, and wrong at that.
Continuing to walk with her new partner in crime, Alora looked around to ensure they weren't being overheard. "I think it's time to properly prank the birds, don't you?" she asked. If they got pranked by snakes, they'd know the difference between the pale attempt to make them believe it was Slytherin and the truth. And the truth was, if the snakes did do so, they wouldn't see it coming, and it would be a glorious endeavor.
It just couldn't be too close to what she had done to Gryffindor, which was why she had laid low. Why she had waited and bided her time. Revenge, as she had been taught, was a dish best-served cold, not piping hot as their lion counterparts falsely believed.

Passing Notes
Alora tells me that it means to make something right and say that I am not stupid. I grin at my new friend and thank her. We continue walking down the empty corridor and the Alora proposes we prank the Ravenclaws. Hm that could be quite fun.
"But how? We can't get into their common room or anything." I ask feeling awful for saying it. Then an idea strikes me. We could sneak in when another Ravenclaw goes in! But then I realize that is terrible. I mean they would know if we got in after all! We are not exactly subtle with the green robes and whatnot. Alora is also very hard to forget. She always has a mysterious smile on invoking uneasiness.
"What do you propose Lora? You are after all the queen of pranks! At least from what I heard!" I say with a wink at the end. We continue walking and I start to grow drowsy. Today was rather long with all the work teachers have been piling up and I ran out of energy drinks. I have to wait to get some when I go visit my family next. That is a long time to wait though.

Passing Notes
There were many ways to prank a house without having access to their house. She had done so with the lions, and they had definitely felt the gazes of judgment upon them. Or rather, a lot of googly eyes beneath the portrait of their beloved fat lady.
"I have a few ideas," she assured the blonde girl. "I just need all the pieces to get it together. You want in on it?" she asked. A key number of people would be needed for her plan, and for it to succeed, it was best to keep each component separate from the other.
After getting lucky with the lions, and them starting to percolate in an attempt to get the snakes in trouble, she had to tread carefully. If she played her cards right, though, she could get quite a bit done and be successful in her attempt to outwit and prank. However, she still needed to achieve some things, like gain access to the kitchens.
"Do you trust me?" she asked.
Perhaps it was a lot of an ask for such a short-lived friendship, and yet, Opal hadn't snitched on her, and Alora valued that greatly. Naturally, she struggled with trust, but you had to make some alliances at the end of the day. So far, she had a good feeling about this one.
