The crystal trophy cases glimmered where the bright moonlight shining out of the windows caught them. Cups, shields, plates, and statues winked silver and gold in the darkness. The Trophy Room was, indeed, a beautiful place, full of victorious vibes and student's success stories hidden in common kitchen utensils, though these cups were way more precious than the regular one used for drinking.
Dot had no idea how she ended up in the place. All she knew was that she was wandering in different hallways and corridors of the castle, having nothing to do after the dinner since she completed all her study before dinnertime. Dot was no fond of trophies, neither the quidditch cups and nor the prefect or headgirl/headboy shields.
No, she was just bored, and the Trophy Room was one of the few rooms of Hogwarts that was always unlocked and ready to welcome people in. Even though it was unlocked, Dot found no single student body in the place when she came in just a few minutes ago.
She was utterly, positively, really bored and had no one to talk to. Going to her dorm room and engaging with Masika Morales felt...well, it felt awkward. And she was in no mood to go search for someone to converse with.
Dot scoffed a puff of irritation. Search for someone to converse? That was the most unsocial thing she ever heard, both inside and outside her mind. So many days have passed since she started living here at Hogwarts, but still, she had about zero friends. Yes, she did converse with a few people, but a 'few people' for a 'whole month' was too less.
Sometimes, Dot found herself pathetic. Why couldn't she just go out and find friends? Why couldn't she spread around like Anastasia? Dot had seen the girl, and she felt envy for her incredible - at least compared to Dot - social skills. Nah, Dot isn't even a bit like Anastasia. She's boring, she's pathetic, and she's always studying.
Making a face at her reflection in the glass case of one of the trophies, she muttered to herself, "Man, I'm bored."
"When I die, I want free Wi-Fi fitted inside my tombstone, just so people will visit more often."

Sonya had been roaming the halls of Hogwarts, doing a little late night exploration, and happened to stumble upon the trophy room. She loved finding new things, so ever since she got to Hogwarts sh'd made it a habit to go out exploring and discovered new things every time. Hogwarts was an interesting place, with wonder at every corner, and the trophy room was no exception. The moonlight bounced off of all the trophies and plaques making them glow, it was a mystical sight. Sure, it was a little dusty and many of the things were very old, but it was an interesting room nevertheless and Sonya kept exploring it.
She walked around the room, gazing at the many awards all lined up. She looked at a few prefect and headboy/headgirl plaques and sighed. That's where she wanted to be someday. She was interested in the role of leadership and friendliness that came with being a prefect or, eventually, headgirl. She stared some more, dreaming of the possibilities that the future could hold, then carried on with her exploration. She looked at all the quidditch trophies that glistened under the moonlight. Yes, they were really pretty but she wasn't interested in playing quidditch.
Sonya carried on and soon found herself towards the back of the room, looking at various awards. She heard another person enter the room, but got the sense she didn't know she was there. She watched the girl for a moment, then heard her say:

Once Sonya heard that, she couldn't resist. She peaked around one of the trophy cases at the girl. "Hi bored! I'm Sonya!" she laughed, enthusiastically."Man, I'm bored."

"Woah," Dot yelped, jumping at the sudden enthusiastic sound and the meledious laughter that followed it. Her heart tried to thump out of the ribcage as she hurriedly moved her eyes to one corner of the room to the other, before her eyes finally landed on a girl.
She was a tall one, with very bright and glowing skin. Her blue eyes were sparkling gently, and her hair that fell in beautiful waves around her were a dirty brown. The yellow crest on her uniform showed her identity as a Hufflepuff. A beautiful Hufflepuff, Dot thought, when her thoughts calmed down a bit.
Where did this girl dropped from? Dot was sure there was no one in the room when she entered, and she heard no footsteps on the marbled floor afterwards either. So did she apparate in? No, Hogwarts don't allow apparition. So...? "You where here all along?" She breathed, then thought over her words and gasped internally. "I'm sorry but...uh, I was scared, kinda."
A shade of pink and red gathered on her cheek as she bit her lower lip, recalling what the girl said before Dot was surprised. When she remembered, a grin broke out on her face. "Nah, sister, I'm not bored. I am, but my name is not. Dot Dutt is what you mistook for Bored." She introduced herself, still grinning brightly.

Sonya giggled at the girl's startledness and stepped all the way out from behind the trophy case. "Nice to meet you Dot," she smiled kindly, "And yes I was here all along. I'm really a ninja assassin, not a student." She laughed at her words playfully, in a joking mood. "But seriously, sorry for scaring you," she said her voice remaining light, even in apology. Sonya examined Dot in the moonlight, noticing her Gryffindor robes. She was tall, with long dark hair cascading down her shoulders. She looked really nice and had a friendly, playful tone to her voice when she was introducing herself.
Sonya glanced around the trophy room, trying to think of a subject to talk about. She hated awkward silences. Her mind settled on the most obvious thing to say. "What brings you here?" Sonya asked. She knew Dot said she was bored, but she didn't know what brought her to this specific room. "I was just out exploring Hogwarts. It's such a lovely place, I'm finding new things every day. I ended up stumbling into this here trophy room. All the awards look stunning in the moonlight, Don't you think?" she rambled a bit before stopping to get Dot's answer.
