! The exploration (the game) !

No, not there either... Trying to push down the pang of disappointment Aidan replaced everything he had moved as close as he could remember to where it had been, then pushed the cupboard door closed. Turning back to the classroom he reevaluated his choices. The teacher's desk, or that book. The book didn't pan out too well for me last time, so I'll leave that for last. With the decision made he strode across the room, glancing towards the door. I hope no one else comes in here. It wasn't so much that he wanted to keep the room to himself, that seemed a bit selfish to him, but more because anyone coming in would probably expect small talk, and he really wasn't that good at it. Not that he had much time to consider it before reaching the desk. Once there he began his search for anything that was obviously related to the Hunt.

Search Under Teacher's Desk

Serena grinned as she picked up the Calendar of Matches that she had just found.  She wasn't sure how or why but she had found a couple of items today and was very thrilled with herself.  The excitement definitely made her bounce up and down, slightly more hyper now that she could go and play with all of these new items - and claim some points for her house.  This was definitely a great challenge, one that she hoped would happen often.  However, let's not think of the end just yet!  There's plenty more searching still to do...

Looking around, she wondered if it was worth staying here or continuing on elsewhere.  Since the Quidditch Pitch itself was massive, there may have been another item hidden here.  Deciding to head down to the pitch, the girl walked down the stairs and outside onto the grounds.  She looked up and spotted the rings on either side of the pitch.  These were the goals.  Blinking, she wondered if she could see something there.  Perhaps it was just her imagination or the sunlight reflecting on her eyes but for some reason, she thought there was something.  Serena made her way closer to the rings and decided to have a look in them, which was pretty difficult from down below.

ACTION: In the Quidditch Pitch, searching on a ring. 

First thing Sally noticed when she reached her destination was the sky. It was a beatiful azure, her favourite shade.

The next thing was the tree, a grand old majestic looking thing with a lot of branches shooting out in different directions. Last time she had been here a bunch of students had been climbing up on that tree. At the moment the whole place was empty and she had it to herself.

She made her way towards the tree. Its shade was so spread out. It seemed like a good place to hide stuff. She went towards the trunk and started searching the area around it.

Action : Searching next to the tree.

Siege would find himself in the study room, looking for anything, something that could give him at least a glimmer of hope. He never really cared for the points, but he wanted to get something at the least. He began to look around, books? Tables? Under Tables? Sides of Books? He looked and looked. He took a long break, being lazy from the looking outside, only to resume it several minutes prior. 
"Man...This might be a little hard o accomplish... Plus it's in the room I despise the most...The Study Room..." Siege would begin to mutter to himself, just looking from desk to desk, book to book, and drawer to drawer.

ACTION: SEARCHING THE STUDY ROOM 

Bloom made he way to the Quidditch Pitch. When she got there, she saw Serena Towers, the first-year Hufflepuff, also looking around in the area. I've got to choose a place before she does, Bloom thought to herself. Although she enjoyed Serena's company, this was not a time for chatting. This was a game and it was to help win the house cup.

Bloom had a choice between two areas: the left seats or the middle of the terrain. She had no idea what would be the best choice. She took a deep breath in and decided that perhaps it was best to check out the left seats as there was more searching required, therefore a better chance to find an object. Bloom made her way to the left seats and began to search inside and around.

ACTION: Bloom searches the left seats at the Quidditch Pitch.

Dymphna had some luck with the professor's desk earlier so when she entered the hospital wing, she went straight for the nurse's desk. It was well organized and she was grateful that it wasn't a complete mess but there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. So she got back on her knees once again to check underneath. She squeezed herself into the small space and started to feel around for anything that could be wedged underneath the desk. Without any light, it was nearly impossible to see underneath but thankfully, her hands were tiny so she could feel pretty far underneath in case anything rolled farther under.

ACTION: Searching under the nurse's desk in the Hospital wing.

Ben's face went absolutely pale as the slug touched his hand. Rather than immediately pull out his hand from the pot, he froze as he was unsure what to do. In his mind it could easily have been a prize, so he should pick it up. His body on the other hand thought it was gross and refused to look at it.

What... what is this?

After a moment of shock he decided to drop the slug and peek inside. When he saw it was a slug his face wrinkled into a frown and he backed away from the pot. Ben looked around the room to see where else he could search, all whilst wiping his hands against the bottom of his robes. That was clearly a slug and not a real prize. If it was a prize, he didn't want it at least.

"Aha, maybe under there?" he said to himself out loud while heading to the teacher's desk area.

ACTION: searches under the teacher's chair.

Serena stared at the hoop, squinting to see if there was anything there. However, it appeared to be a figment of her imagination. Perhaps the sunlight was reflecting on it and playing tricks with her eyes. Who knows.  Either way, it was empty so she decided to go somewhere else. Spotting a Ravenclaw that she had recently, she smiled and waved. Bloom was searching over by the left seats so Serena looked around, leaving that area to her and instead opting to search in the middle of the grounds. Perhaps there would be something of value around that area instead. 

In all honesty, the girl probably would have gone over and said hi to Bloom but the Ravenclaw looked so focused that she didn't want to disturb her. So instead, Serena headed over onto the pitch and started searching on the grounds. It was worth a shot, there might be something else here. If not, she could always go elsewhere after this.  Ohh, where should she go next? Serena started to wonder what else was around this area whilst she looked around on the ground. She hadn't visited the grounds enough so she couldn't actually remember what was around here... Oh, perhaps there was something in the training pitches?  Or the herbology class room? Serena wondered where else might be an option, deciding it was worth planning out her next move whilst she was searching around. Maybe she should ask Bloom where she had been so she could look in other places... Though, she wasn't sure if the Ravenclaw would help another house out! They were friends in real life but enemies during this event - house points were out on the table, after all.

For now, probably best to focus on looking around here though...
