Closed PV Cicely Woods Becoming Friends

Cicely laughed as they began for the hall. He thanked her and she smiled and patted him on the shoulder. As she mentioned her famous soup, his eyes lit up with excitement. He was quite eager to eat soup. Maybe she’d make some and mail it to him when the holidays started. “Yeah! I can show you how to, and you’ll know how to do it yourself!” then she slumped forwards. “Yet we have to wait for so long til we’re allowed to go to the kitchen.” she sighed and dragged her feet along the floor.

Then Zach began speeding up and she made the effort to catch up with her. He started talking about healing spells and she smiled. She was thinking of all the times she could use that spell for her wounds. Goodbye bruises and cuts! Goodbye scratches and nicks! She sighed happily. “If only we could learn it at our first year.” she sighed softly again. They stopped at the big wooden door of the hall and she pushed it open.

She listened to Zach and she bit her lip. She didn’t really pay much attention to potions. “oh Uhm yeah.” she turned to look at him. “I erm kinda forgot how to uh make those.” she laughed nervously before running a hand through her thick hair. The candles were lit for tea and the night sky thundered above. She craned her neck up. Raindrops. “It’s raining tonight.” she murmured. Students were all eating and chatting and ghosts wandered to and fro.

Then Zach spotted empty seats and cicely followed him towards them. “Perfect!” she gasped, pulling the bench out for them and sitting down. At the mention of her wound. She peeled her bandage off. It was closed, but still needed time to heal. she turned to him, nodding. “much better.” then she sighed. “So hungry.” she murmured.

As Cicely removed the bandages, Zach also peeked at the wound. "Thank God the wound is healing. If you need medical attention, don't hesitate to go to Hospital Wings." Zach was silent for a moment. "Is it appropriate to use the term 'medical' in this context?" Zach realized that he was no longer in the muggle world.

"I am hungry too," Zach said when he heard Cicely murmur about her hunger. He guessed what would be served on his table later. "I hope there will be silky pudding." The atmosphere in the Great Hall was becoming noisier, with the voices of the students and the sound of raindrops outside. Each student seemed to be chatting or playing games. "It's very crowd- very lively here," He said.

Zach felt uncomfortable with the noise in the great hall. "This place is too noisy, but let's endure it for a while to make friends," he thought, encouraged himself to stay there. "Besides cooking, what are your hobbies or interests?" The sound of the rain grew louder, but not enough to drown out the voices of the students gathered in the Great Hall. "I mean, what do you like to do in your free time?" Zach added quickly.

Cicely tapped her chin, frowning. “Not sure. Medical sounds like medicine so I guess so,” she shrugged, examining her cut. It was dry now and healing. She gave a sigh of relief, smiling. She gave a small sigh, slumping onto the table.
“Euuughhh…” she sighed, burying her head into her coat. “I’m craving chicken now.” she groaned, looking up with a sparkle in her eyes as she imagined the platter of food. “I would do anything to get that right now,” she continued.

The noise level seemed to get up, everyone in a frenzied crowd, the great hall buzzing. Cicely had to make her voice louder to be heard. she watched as zach’s face twist into discomfort and she winced. She didn’t know what to do. She sucked at these things. She couldn’t just.. lower the noise could she? She turned her head to him as he asked a question. She couldn’t really head him so she leaned forwards. “Oh! Yes! I do enjoy sketching in my notepad sometimes!” she then laughed nervously. ” but I really need to work on a few hand drawings!” She rocked back and forth on the chair, smiling. “It’s quite noise here isn’t it.. “ she whispered back, shuddering. She the then blinked quickly. “How about you?” she prompted.

A girl plopped down next to them, with golden locks and beautiful sea green eyes. She turned her head to them as she started chatting to them as if they were friends. She stared at her, blinking quickly. Do I know you? she thought, shifting her gaze to Zach with a confused look. She was rambling on about some professor who set them some homework first thing. She nodded, pursing her lips. “Yeah… totally sucks.” she muttered. The rain sounded above them and she looked up, an instinctive move to see if the rain would fall onto her head, but no. Then the girl introduced herself as Allegra. It really suited her and she smiled then her face dropped when the girl suggested them to be pretty compatible. “Eh?? Oh, we’re just friends.” she replied, shaking her head. ”we only just met!”

But Magical me? Was she to be know as girls who reads Magical me? Oh no. “Cicely woods, nice to meet you.” she forced a strained smile. Too many haunting memories flashed through her mind of her embarrassing moments.

"Ooh! Chicken is good too," said Zach. "Have you ever tried Korean fried chicken? It's very tasty with a rich flavor," he paused for a bit, "Now you're making me hungrier!" Zach held his belly. The sound of his growling stomach could hardly be heard. "I hope the food will appear soon."

Cicely answered his question about hobbies. As she heard the answer, Zach nodded his head. "Unfortunately, there's no electricity here, so we can't bring our electronic gadgets. I wish I could see your drawings," said Zach. "As for me, I like," he stopped his answer for a second, "wandering around. It's a bit weird, isn't it?" He was a bit embarrassed by his answer. "Discovering new places is very relaxing for me."

Zach was shocked by the arrival of a student. She suddenly joined them and complained about homework on the first day of school, but it turned out that she had talked to the wrong people. Zach couldn't help but smile awkwardly towards her. "It's okay," Zach replied while looking at Cicely to see if she was okay too. And it seemed Cicely was okay.

She introduced herself as Allegra and thrust her hands towards Zach. He took her handshake and was surprised for the second time when she asked if he and Cicely were a couple. Zach shook his head nervously, at the same time as Cicely shook her head. She also guessed his name was Michael. "I'm sorry but I'm Zach. Nice to meet you," said Zach. "Good guess though," he added. He stared outside. The window was finally wet with raindrops.

Cicely sighed. “No, never actually! I had Korean bbq for my birthday once though..” she murmured thoughtfully. She scrambled into her bag and got out a water bottle and slurped the water down, calming her stomach growls.

Then he replied to her question. She bobbed her head, nodding. “Ah, yes! Exploring is wonderful! I love it so much sometimes! But I also rather listen to music. What type of music do you like to listen to? Oh, Sorry if I’m rambling on!” she smiled brightly. She then nodded. “Exploring is relaxing if you think it is!”

Then the girl started blabbering on again. When she suggested that cicely had a crush on Lockhart, she widened her eyes, her mouth falling open. What? Her? Never! To even think she liked a full grown adult was just vulgar! She pursed her lips, listen to Allegra before shooting a glance at Zach. “Erm..” she tucked a lock of hair behind her ears. “I’m not really into Lockhart. I was just reading it. it’s not like I like him or anything. He’s a literal adult.” she huffed, folding her arms.


Then Allegra drew a smiley face on the window and she chuckled before joining her, this time drawing a heart and smiling. Then Allegra assumed they were all friends now and she shrugged, smiling. Maybe they could be friends after all.

"My musical preferences are very broad, and I usually listen to them according to my mood. However, I often listen to pop, jazz, and classical music, and sometimes rock," said Zach. Music is one of his favorite things. "I also enjoy listening to music that is typically used for dancing because I used to do ballroom dancing before coming to Hogwarts," he added. He missed the time he spent practicing ballroom dancing and participating in competitions.

Zach noticed Cicely and Allegra talking about Magical Me and Gilderoy Lockhart, which he didn't understand since he was new to the wizarding world. "I don't know about Magical Me or who Gilderoy Lockhart is. Was the book interesting?" Zach asked. He imagined that Gilderoy Lockhart must be a great and interesting wizard since his book was so famous.

Suddenly, hot food magically appeared on the table. There were so many types of food that Zach was a little confused about which one to eat first. But one thing was certain, he slowly took a piece of silky pudding with a sweet sauce that covered its surface near him so that nobody would steal it. "Maybe start with this salad first for appetizer," Zach told Allegra. He took the salad for himself and began to eat.
