In the living room there were people. Way too many people. For the Noel family, that was perfectly normal. They always invited all of their family for holidays, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents. Everyone.

Today was Elaine's 3rd birthday. Scarlett was laying in a cradle about 7 feet away from the fireplace. The room was loud, everyone was happy to see each other again after the Noel's New Years party, conversations between old relatives, arguments between siblings and the cries from Scarlett's baby cradle.

Scarlett's Grandmother, Elizabeth, picked up Scarlett from the cradle and hugged her tight. Scarlett sneezed and everyone looked at her like she was a cute puppy on video. Elaine was not jealous nor mad at Scarlett. This always happened, Christmas, Her birthday, family gatherings. At this point, she would say: "That's little siblings for you" She would get a few laughs, then the family would go back to giving attention to the small witch.

Later, the Noel parents took the baby girl into their room for Scarlett to take a nap. Her dad tried to lie her down in her crib upstairs. She clung to her father's shirt for life, smiling, giggling and laughing. Her dad, John, looked at her with a smile, he picked her up again. And spun her around. He then put her back down in her crib. She smiled and went to sleep.
