So I remember before I moved countries last year, my brother wanted to go to this toy store to look for pokemon cards. I remember thinking how I spent all my money and was too broke to go with my brother, but then my mom gave me 60 dollars to go wild because I think she felt bad that we were moving. So my brother arrive at the store and while he was busy asking around for the cards, I was looking for something to waste my money on. So i looked around for a bit and wanted to buy a notebook
BUT THEN
I saw this set of Harry Potter themed stickers and birthday cards and stuff and I was like "I am buying that, no questions asked."
So I buy it and my brother waits for me outside because he didn't manage to find the cards. We go home on our bikes (because that's the way we came) and we get home and my mom's like, "So [irl name here] hat did you buy?"
I show her the box and she was like "WOW, IS THAT A BOOK?"
Because it was kind of shaped like a book and there was Harry Potter written at the top and I guess my mom didn't see in small print it said stickers and cards. And i just remember her shock in me buying a book and then I tell her It's not a book, but stickers and stuff and she was so disappointed it was sorta funny in a way xD
