Making Friends?
A GOOD FRIEND IS LIKE A FOUR-LEAF CLOVER: HARD TO FIND AND LUCKY TO HAVE.
Dylan had decided to take a walk around the town. He didn't want to be stuck at school. He wanted to have some life outside the school. He was very proud of what Damion had done. He was happy with how his life was going. He was a duelist. He really loved dueling in a safe environment. He wouldn't want to duel in a place which was not safe. Wearing something suiting for the weather, he walked to the City of London. A place that had started to feel like a second home. Wales was always going to home to him. He was happy being here in London.
School was.... Well he didn't want to think about School. He was trying his best not to get all caught up in what he did with his school and stuff. He wanted to do something that was different. Something that was more him than what he was supposed to be doing.
Anyways here he was just chilling. He had decided that he would spend some time visiting the City of London. After all, he was a part of the community. He was not sure what else he could be doing. He was just going to enjoy his time. He loved the cool breeze blowing through his hair. He let his hand wander in his hair.

Ebony was tired of school. The homework load was getting way too heavy for her procrastinating self to handle, and even though her social life was in a relatively good place now, in her opinion, she just wasn't feeling like talking to anyone within Hogwarts. Besides, it's been a while since she had left Hogwarts, and the City of London was a great place to go.
She ran her hand through her loose hair and tied it up into a long dark ponytail, her waves bouncing. She observed and admired the scenery in London, how the trees rustled, how the snow fell, how the people walked, how nature moved. Everything was so still that it felt peaceful, and it felt like a nice break from school; the stress, the talking, the classes, the competition. Okay, maybe not competition. Ebony would always look forward to competition no matter what, whether it was Quidditch or House Points.
Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a boy. He had light brown hair and piercing eyes. She didn't know whether people out here were muggles or wizards, but the boy looked like a wizard. Maybe it was the way he stood, or the way he looked at things, Ebony didn't know, but she was pretty certain he was a wizard. She hadn't seen him before in Hogwarts, however, and she wondered if he was one of the upper-years whom she had never introduced herself to, or a new first year whom she hadn't welcomed yet. Hesitating, she wondered whether she should go talk to the boy, or enjoy some private time.

Dylan was happy that he was doing well in his school. He was pretty happy being in the Duelling team of his house. He sort of wanted to be there for Damion whenever Damion had a school match. But since his classes were ongoing then, he couldn’t be there to support his friend. Anyways, he was taking a break from things and walked around the City of London. He was hoping that he would get to see somethings and have a enjoyable day at the City.
Dylan let his hand through his blonde hair before moving it into his pocket. He was not sure what he was wanting to do. He was sure that he wanted to have an enjoyable day. He was wearing some comfy clothes as he had decided he was going to stroll around the city before he would head back. He was pretty excited for that. Dylan was an outgoing and lovely boy. He wouldn’t be afraid to speak what was on his mind to be honest. He looked around as he let the cool air blow through his hair.
Did Dylan spot someone? He was not sure if he was hallucinating or was it real? He made his way to the person that he had spotted. Smiling as he approached her, he said "Hello there." Wow what a way to address someone. "I am Dylan Rhys." Good. Introduce yourself he told himself. "Isn’t it a nice day?" What a random comment Dyl? Anyways he was going with that. He was not sure how else to make a conversation. "I am so sorry if I am intruding something that you are doing." He said. He didn’t want to intrude on anything that she might be doing.

The cool air made her hair flow freely behind her as she stood, admiring the view and eyeing the boy from time to time, still hesitating and rethinking her decision of not approaching him. Would it be weird if she randomly walked up to a stranger and greeted them? Would she be interrupting anything he might be doing? Did she trust herself enough to socialise without embarrassing herself?
As she continued to ponder and overthink more and more, with too many "what ifs" popping up in her mind, she failed to hear the footsteps behind her. When a sudden voice sounded, she whipped around, eyes wide with alarm, until she realised it was the same boy she had been wondering about. "Hey, I'm Ebony," she said, smiling nervously and slipping her hands into her pockets. "Yeah, sure is a nice day. This... weather is cool, it's not too cold but not too hot. I really love the wind," she rambled. Really? The weather? She didn't expect much when it came to herself socialising, but the weather was the last thing to talk about. "Oh, no, I'm not really doing anything, just wandering around. Are you from Hogwarts, by any chance?" she asked curiously, tilting her head and squinting. Ebony wondered if he belonged in an older year and in another house, because she did not recognise any bit of this boy. Not his hair, or his eyes.
