A Forgery of a Destiny Hufflepuff Only

Interacting with:  Arthur, and the Caboose crew
Laila smiled and while she was just asking the tired looking girl if she needed some water, Arthur interrupted her, and said "Uh! I- I think what she means is that we're all a little tired." Laila looked at him and said "Arthur, It's rude to interrupt people while they are talking. And no that is not what I meant." Laila completed her sentence, and asked the girl some other questions.

Suddenly, a compartment door opened. Laila looked at it, and was taken aback by what she was seeing. A huge sandcastle. "Oh my God" Laila said.  Arthur got the answer of the riddle correct. "Great job Arthur" Laila told him. "This is still a field trip right?" he asked. "I mean, something dangerous could happen, but it’s not like they’re trying to hurt us?" "Arthur stop worrying too much everything is going to be fine" Laila told him.

Laila walked into the sandy room.   “Do you think this place is structurally sound?” Arthur asked. Laila rolled her eyes at this question. "Arthur, just think about the exciting things that are going to happen. Besides, it's a field trip. It's supposed to be fun not dangerous." Laila told him.

"Dangerous things can happen. Just stay close to each other, work together and be cautious." Said another girl. Laila knew who she was. Serena Towers a Hufflepuff prefect. "Ok then we'll stick together." Laila said. Laila saw Serena follow another boy. "I'll go after him, you guys stick together and follow when you're ready." She said. "Yeah we will" Laila said smiling and nodding her head. The tired looking girl seemed stress saying that things will go terrible. "Nothing bad will happen just calm down" Laila said trying her best to make everyone stop worrying too much.  "Now can everyone calm down?" Laila said. But something made her worry. The door that hey came out from, disappeared. "Wait what happened? What's going on? Where's the door? How are we going to get out of here?!" Laila said in a worried tone. She tried breathing in and out, holding her breath and counting to ten, but none of her breathing techniques would calm her down. "Never mind what I said. We can panic now" Laila said. "What are we going to do? What if we get hungry, and we starve to death. Oh no." Laila said in a horse voice.

A Forgery of a Destiny Hufflepuff Only
As the door swung open before her, Ami examined the room with a distasteful crinkle in her nose. "Haha, Lear," she mumbled, stepping forward warily. "Very funny." The room laid out before her was flooded in ice, crystal clear and blue, and quite... abundant. At this point, however, it was better to stop wondering and to simply start doing.

Tugging uncomfortably at her sweater, she let everyone else enter first as she examined the room suspiciously. No dancing girls? No hidden coffins? No talking necklaces? Check, check, and check. The room was strangely... large, however, and it was totally weirding Ami out. The braver portion of the group hustled forward, eager to get exploring, but Ami hung by the doorway, still uncertain about this trip. This was, after all, Lear. Something was going to happen, and it was certainly not going to be sun-tanning at the beach, drinking martinis from little glass cups.

Stepping to the side, she let everyone pass her, and watched the door slam shut. Turning to face the man organizing this whole mess, she smiled emptily. "Hey, Professor," she said absent-mindedly, turning to her trunk. Treating it like a stool, she sat on it, staring across the compartment at the man. "So, what've you got planned for this?"

What evil things have you got planned, and how can I help?

What was this Quinn had found it was a scroll...'Oh how marvelous!' The curly headed boy thought. 'This is Lear we're talking about and I have heard plenty of things about his adventures I'll have to open this carefully lat-' His thoughts were interrupted by something, or more likely someone grabbing on the arm of his hoodie. "Wha-" He quickly turned to see Frost looking scared out of her mind. "Frost! What happened!?"

Right as he asked such a question, it was answered when she pointed to the now no longer existing door. 'Blast it all could this situation get anymore-...Yes yes it could...' His thoughts were interrupted by the frightening possibility that even though the room was made out of solid ice and wasn't melting now. It certainly could at some point and that thought terrified him.

Right now however that thought was of little importance, he needded to calm down his trusted friend. Gosh this is reminding him of his first year and how he was when Ami found him. Speaking of he hadn't seen her come in, then again he ventured off too quick too notice. 'Quinn! Focus lad! You have a friend in trouble!'

Snapping himself out of his roaming thoughts Quinn quickly turned around and looked at his friend Frost. He placed one hand over hers and tried his best to reassure her, "Hey hey come on Frosted flakes this is an adventure no need to panic just yet right? Come on ye are with friends and ye are with the craziest red head around...me!" He dropped all formalities and let the full brunt of his Dublin accent seep through.

It was in his hopes that being so extra would work in his favor and get a laugh out of Frost. "Besides Frosty in case ye had't noticed..." He suddenly leaned in whispering, "This place is made out of ice, imagine if it were all to melt. Then who'd be the one squealing like a wee babe huh? Well me o'course! We can't have that now can we course me being me with my blasted luck, that'll happen anyway." He joked.

Scroll was still in his hand, but his main focus was trying to calm Frost down, "So tell ye what Frosty ba bosty, let's work through our fears together and we might just make it right." He put on his goofiest smile to try and distract her, while also cheering her up. He then lifted up his free hand that had the scroll in it. Still clasping her hand firmly with his other hand. "An look at what we found a scroll! It's so curious right? We should open!" He exclaimed.
Action: Help Frost calm down, try to get her mind off of things, and attempt to open the scroll with her.

Marian was trapped. Trapped in a room made of ice with two complete strangers, both twelve, on a moving train going to who knows where. What could possibly go wrong?

Marian was scared. A second year girl had started whimpering, and Marian was on the verge of crying. She missed her family and wondered if she would ever see them again. She tried to hide the tears by mumbling things like "It's bright in here," while wiping the tears out of her eyes.

The second year boy, the one with the thick accent, however, seemed calm. He even made a joke about the place melting! Marian glanced over at him and saw that he and the girl were trying to open a strange scroll that he had found. Feeling slightly nervous and wanting to stay with the group, Marian walked over to them and watched as they attempted to open the scroll.

Marian did feel like a third friend, the one that gets left out at parties. It made sense, because she didn't know any of them, but she wanted to be noticed. Maybe if she found something, like Quinn, If that was his name, had found. Something important. She looked around the ice room, looking for something from where she was standing.

Action: Walk over to the readheads and look around the room.

Mentions and Interacts: Quinn and Marian (As the girl)
Quinn must have felt oh so very uncomfortable. The girl that was falling apart at the sight of one of her worst fears playing out before her very eyes. Oh for heaven's sake, they were trapped. There's not one person that could say they wouldn't get the least bit worried if they had gotten trapped as well. But the boy was really trying his best to make Frost chill the heck out.

At the comment of his own fear of this whole place turing into previously said 'watery lake', it did make her want to toughen up a bit more. That was right, the chances of his horrible horrible fear we're just as near. And even though it wasn't happening now, it might happen later. He was right. If he could be tough and not have a mental breakdown, then so could she. And like he said, it was only the beginning. The ginger smiled a small smile at Quinn, nodding her head. "You're right. You are pretty crazy." Her own comment made herself laugh a little, despite her situation.

She could've sworn that he had called her three different things withing the past ten minutes. But it was honestly quite funny. Nobody has had so many nicknames for her before. And like the first day she met him, Quinn was still a very strange boy. He held up the scroll thing he had found and told her to help him open it. It's quite silly. Both of their fears putting them on edge.

The other girl that had gotten trapped as well would come over to them, still looking for something. Maybe there was another scroll to be found. Maybe another helpful object. To Frost, the girl looked as if she had just about started crying. "Yeah! We should open it. It could help us get out of here." She replied to Quinn, trying her best to be herself again. But it was honestly a bit hard. Considering that she in fact her worst fear of being trapped was unbelievably true.

I hope it's alright if I sneak Riley into the icy room? I died last week and just revived myself rip.

As the two doors opened, Riley sighed in relief as the snowflake riddle had indeed opened up to an icy room whereas the sand riddle opened up to a room with sand castles. She wrinkled her nose, already thinking of how disgusting that room must be, before she turned her head back towards the icy room. Most of the group had already moved into the room, leaving Riley behind with only a few others. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if anyone else would go, before deciding to slip into the room after the others.

It was just in the nick of time, for as soon as she had entered the room, she heard the word "Sero" come from behind and the sound of the door sealing shut. She spun around, but all she could see was icy wall that matched the rest of the room.

"Was ... that supposed to happen?" she murmured under her breath, moving towards the wall where the door used to be. She felt her hands around the wall, trying to see if there was anything unusual, but the door was very much so gone. She hummed, wrinkling her forehead as she held her hand against the wall for a moment before spinning around. It was only then that she noticed the distress of the others in the group. Was she supposed to be concerned or worried? She had assumed that this was all Lear's plan, and there was no way that he would let them get hurt. Right? But the others seemed concerned about getting out, so Riley decided that she would try and take this a bit more seriously.

The group had huddled in the center of the room around a scroll that the boy was trying to open. The other redhead girl was also opening the scroll with him, while the brunette seemed to be looking around. Riley didn't exactly feel comfortable walking up to the group of people who she didn't know, so she decided to just examine the room by herself. Besides, they probably didn't need four people in one area of the room.

She was looking around the room when she finally noticed the outside. Or well, what appeared to be the outside, but it certainly couldn't have actually been the outside because, well, it wasn't moving. She remembered feeling the train start, and she remembered seeing Hogwarts in the distance, and yet there was proof that they weren't moving. Riley approached the "window" and squinted, trying to find anything off. Had they stopped, and she simply hadn't noticed it? Was this some sort of test? Maybe Lear was trying to test their problem solving abilities, and in order to go outside they needed to escape the room. She noticed a stack of board games nearby as well and moved over to that to inspect those. If this truly was a test, then perhaps they would hold some sort of meaning.
Actions: Move to the window pane, inspect the "outside," inspect the board games.

Marissa had moved into the sand room during the time everyone else had entered and began to search around. She kept her things close by, standing by herself as she peered out the window. Mari kept to herself knowing if she were to talk to someone, she would probably end up bursting into tears. So she kept silent and kept to herself, listening in to some of their conversations at times. Nothing really exciting was happening, except from a few introductions between each other. A click by the door made her frown slightly, but she shook her head in dismissal. It was probably from the lack of sleep, making her hear things.

Walking around the perimeter of the room, she checked in different places to see if anything of interest stood out. It was a sand room, with sand sculptures and simply.. sand theme. Marissa found it weird on how a room can feel like a real seaside, even though they were on a moving train. Magic can sure do some crazy but amazing things. Mari glanced around the room, recognising a couple. Serena Towers.. she rescued her during the camp out when a fire started in the forest. They have not spoken since. Then there was.. Reid Kovacs. Tears welled up in her eyes instantly as this reminded her of her sister, Claryssa, and the funeral in the summer. Hopefully before anyone noticed, she looked away from the group and tried to get her attention on something else.
Action: Look around the sandy room alone.

"Hey, fancy waiting up?"
Howie rolled his eyes before turning to see who had joined him. It was his mission, and his alone. There was nothing he could do to stop whatever catastrophe laid in wait for them, but there was no need to spread his negativity among the rest of the Hufflepuffs, hence his want for solitude. All the poor boy could do was wait for it to happen and hope to survive to tell the tale to one of the “sane” Professors back at Hogwarts. He would have to bring back proof, a problem that he had not yet found the solution to. He needed time to think!

Reputation be damned. He turned to dismiss the intruder, to demand to be left alone, but his eyes met a pair that mirrored his own. Bright blue eyes shining through the lens of familiar dark rimmed glasses. It was none other than Serena Towers. A name he knew well although he doubted she knew his, for when he thought back he couldn’t ever remember being introduced. Howie bit his tongue. Not a smart move to tell off a prefect. He would have to accept her company for now.

“Sure.” He replied to her query, flashing her a timid smile. “Care to walk with me?” Howie would ask as he gestured her forward and resumed his stroll. They walked side by side for a few quiet moments. “My name is Howard by the way, but please, call me Howie.” He held out his hand in greeting. “Serena? Right? This is all a bit wierd, innit?” Howie would point out the sandy busts that lined the passageway, and it was at that time that he spotted it. Just down the way a sand statue in the shape of a dragon awaited them. Looking it over Howie noticed rolled parchment within its mouth. “Oi, look at that!” He called to his newfound companion as he rushed forward and grabbed it. Potential evidence! “A scroll.” Howie would unroll it slowly, holding it out to his side to allow Serena to look it over with him if she so choosed.

Action: Converse with Serena. Discover the scroll and unroll it to reveal its text. Leaves room for Serena next to him if she chooses to join him in reading it.

Interacting with Frost Cira, Marian Lynch, and anyone else nearby
Quinn couldn't help but smile at Frost's change in demeanor. He was oh so glad that his actions helped to contribute to her lighter mood. It was refreshing and spectacular to be honest, it helped distract him from his own creeping thoughts of the ice room melting.

With a light chuckle he took her advice, and preceded to open the scroll to read the text. He had no idea what would be inside it, but better to be reckless now and sorry later. There was no telling what Lear had in store, but whatever it was Quinn would tackle it head on with his friends. He needed to be strong like Brannigan was, but he also needed to be smart about it too.

"Hey, come join us! I'm Quinn and this is Frosty! Maybe this scroll is another riddle, but whatever it is we could always use another set of eyes!" Quinn joyously said. He forced his fears down as far as they would go and bottled them up. He tried to remain cheerful for everyone's sake. After all Brannigan always told him the key to getting out of any situation was keeping a level head. So even if it was only for a short while he would do his best to keep a level head.
Action: Introduce self and Frost to Marian, Read the scroll with Frost, Do best to remain calm.
