Hogwarts at night was beautiful, it was also slightly terrifying. Clair had never loved how the shadows danced on the walls when it was getting dark. Her mind would play tricks, like the suits of armor could have someone in them. There had been many times that she had run back to her common after dinner in the winter, when it was getting darker early.

"It is very pretty at night, but also as scary as heck." Her eyes sparkled "Sometimes when I've snuck out or on the nights it gets dark early I've run home because of the shadows on the walls, or a painting talking to me out of the blue and spooking me." For the brace face she had most the time Clair had one weakness; her mind. As only a young girl could Clair had a bad habit of imagining the wildest things one could think of, as well as the stupidest things.
"The dungeons are also icky at night." Clair laughed a little, "A few times I've snuck down, I've always wondered where the Slytherin entrance is, as well as if any bad students have ever been locked away in there. I've never founds bones but y'know maybe they clean those up."
The Ravenclaw was not trying to be dark or weird, it was just one of those things she had never voiced
but had always wondered.

Clair nodded, "I do! Though I'm pretty sure anyone who has been here long has some amazing stories," that was when Clair had a idea, "You know who i bet has the best stories!? Headmaster Lear!"

Alana gazed towards Clair ever so curious. Alana's sea-foam blue eyes sparkled like the night sky as the young fiery red haired girl was intrigued with what the older girl had to say. Alana had to admit she heard stories from her brother about Hogwarts, but nothing compared to hearing something from the older girl in front of her. Though Alana could tell Clair was only a year older she seemed wise hence why the older girl was in Ravenclaw after all.

The soft flutters of the books floating around moving magically to their shelves echoed through the air sending a calming sensation throughout Alana's senses. Alana continued to gaze slightly up at Clair a smile broadening on Alana's sun-kissed tone skin.

"Hogwarts at nice sounds intriguing though maybe better to explore with friends then alone so the shadows do not play tricks on yourself or anyone for that matter."

Alana spoke softly as she smiled broadly the young girl showing off a toothy grin as Alana continued to listen to Clair speak. Alana held onto each word with interest. When Clair spoke about the Headmaster Alana tilted her head slightly to the left hand side her left ear grazing over her left shoulder.

"The Headmaster must have a lot of stories. After al my mum always say's the older one is the wiser they are and the more stories and information they have. I wonder what stories the Headmaster would even have after all he must always be busy right?"

Alana spoke in a soft curious honey sweet tone the young girl staring up at the older girl in front of her. Alana's sea-foam blue eyes sparkled like an ocean being reflected with the suns rays. Alana's fiery red hair swayed back and fourth gently like small waves that resembled the water falling from the water fall.

The Ravenclaw nodded, "Yeah, I agree its a great way to make friends as well." As she said that her mind wandered quickly towards Simon, before he had become a prefect she had met him when she was sneaking out, she wondered what he was doing at the moment "Things are always less scary when there is another person to keep your feet on the ground." she said, finishing her thought and coming back to the place and person she was speaking to.

Clair had heard about things that had happened before her time at Hogwarts, things like shadow spiders, Hags, and other creepies she could only imagine what amazing and crazy stories the Headmaster must have about his own time at Hogwarts, and maybe he would have cool stories about his life between Hogwarts, because surely he had not been headmaster his whole life. "Do you ever wonder what adults were like as children? or what they did before you met them?" it was something Clair had always wondered, people all stories. Sometimes she thought it would be so interesting to see what people had lived through, what they had dealt with during their childhood. How different had the world looked then, how different were the people? The places?

Alana’s Speech
Alana’s Thoughts
Date: April 1st, 2023
Alana stared at Clair curiously, her sea-foam blue eyes examining the older ravenclaw girl. Alana’s sun-kissed freckled splattered face held interest in what the other girl was saying. The young gryffindor girls fiery red hair swayed gently as Alana tilted her head slightly in curiosity. The young fiery red haired girls thoughts seemed to start flowing inside of her mind.

“Yeah, I agree its a great way to make friends as well."

Clair spoke grasping Alana’s attention. The young fiery red haired girl could not help but notice how Clair seemed to wander off in her thoughts. The young Gryffindor continued to stare curiously up at the older girl.

“Things are always less scary when there is another person to keep your feet on the ground."

Alana stared curiously at Clair as she seemed to finish her thoughts. The fiery red haired girl noted that Clair seemed to come back to the world of the living. Smiling brightly at the older girl Alana hummed softly.

”You are correct, everything is less scary and terrifying if you have friends nearby. They can help cheer you on if you do get scared.”

Alana spoke thoughtfully with a smile dancing on her sun-kissed tone face as the young girl grew a thoughtful look. Her sea-foam blue eyes stared at Clair curiously as her eyes seemed like a pool of a crystal lake with the algae dancing in it slightly.

”What do you think lies around the castle? Do you ever wonder if there are any mysterious passageways or even a secret society? But why would there even be a secret society?”

Alana rambled slightly as she moved her left hand up towards her chin pondering slightly. The young girl seemed to wander in her own thoughts slightly.

If the castle did have mysterious passageways would the teachers know about it? Or would they not because it’s a mystery? Plus I highly doubt Hogwarts would have a secret society that would be strange? Right? Yeah totally strange.

Alana, still lost in her thoughts, grew a thoughtful look, her fiery locks covered the sides of her face gently like curtains, her sea-foam blue eyes squinted slightly in pure thought. While her ginger eyebrows furrowed together slightly.

“Do you ever wonder what adults were like as children? or what they did before you met them?"

Alana snapped out of her daze when Clair spoke up, prying the fiery red haired girls attention. Alana gazed softly at Clair smiling a grand big smile showing off her teeth slightly.

”Hmm? Yeah I wonder what many of our professors were like as children.”

Alana stopped for a moment growing a toothy grin staring at Clair, a spark of mischief in her sea-foam blue eyes.

”I bet the adults had a ton of fun growing up. Though I wonder how bad they really were maybe they were good students or they were mischievous students.”

Alana spoke brightly in her honey sweet tone. The young Gryffindor girl grinning a toothy little grin at Clair her sea-foam blue eyes seemed to radiate brightly like the night sky. The fiery red haired girl continued to stare happily at Clair as the young girls thoughts seemed to dance around her mind thoughtfully.
