Another day, Another Adventure.
Date: March 26th 2023 Time: 4:00Pm
The cool spring breeze drifted though the Hogwarts courtyard calmly lifting up the dead and decaying leaves from the cool school grounds. The sun rested highly above the gothic style Castle the suns rays resting upon the water fountain that stood in the center of the courtyard. The marble arch ways of the courtyard grounds held many bustling students some either talking and conversing others moving along at their own pace after all it was a fairly warm Sunday afternoon.
The smell of flowers blooming wafted through the courtyard, the sounds of students chattering echoed through the marble arch ways. Birds flocked about singing their melody of love songs. The wind was very gentle and seemed to leave trails of sweet kisses throughout the air. The soft cotton like clouds moved at a snails pace while the suns warm yellow rays of sunlight beamed down on the courtyard making the cobble stone path and the grass brighten to life. The stone cobble path lead towards the arch ways and doors while the patches of grass was a beautiful hue of green Surrounding the courtyard were a few bushes that seemed to have magical hedge clippers working on said bushes.
Sitting under a lone tree in the corner of the courtyard was Alana. Her fiery hair shimmered brightly under the suns rays. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders in little waves of fire almost. Her sea-foam teal blue eyes seemed to be in a trance reading a book that rested gently against her lap. The young girl decided sense it was a weekend to dress casually. She wore a toffee brown long sleeve sense it was nice but still a bit chilly with the winds gentle kisses. She wore raven black skinny jeans that clung to her legs. The fiery red haired girl seemed lost reading her book. The book in question was a potions book.
The young girl seemed at peace her ears were aware of her surroundings hearing students chatter the sound of footsteps crunching the dead leaves as they moved to their next direction. The sweet smell of fresh blooming flowers wafted through the air. Along with the sweet scent of spring wafted through the air. After all spring was around the corner which excited the girl though winter is a wonderful season Alana enjoyed spring it held the best and sweetest of all smells. The gentle breeze kissed lightly against the girls sun-kissed fair skin making her fiery red hair brush against her freckled splattered face gently.
Alana took in a deep air of breathe. Exhaling quietly the young girl looked up from her book. Her sea-foam teal blue eyes scanned the soft cotton clouds above as they moved sluggishly across the way. The baby blue sky looked vast similar to a wonderful ocean that resided up above. The young girl turned her focus towards the sky getting lost with the clouds along with the flocks of birds thta drifted by sluggishly. Alana seemed lost in her own little world. Nothing seemed to bother the young fiery red hair girl at this particular moment.

Another day, Another Adventure.
The time had come. Marietta donned her fuzziest socks; the fluffy kind that you wear during winter with zero plans to go outside. She had a pair of shoes and a change of socks in her bag just in case she came across anywhere with excessive amounts of dirt she wouldn't want clinging to said socks. She vigorously rubbed in some orange essential oil balm into her wrists and some lemon on her neck having no plans to go outside, they shouldn't cause blisters.
While exploring the halls of Hogwarts and enjoying the view the large windows gave she had noticed that the floors were remarkably smooth. They seemed to give off the feeling they were always polished and who was Marietta not to take advantage of that? So she strode out of the huflepuff common room and down the halls of Hogwarts oblivous to the occasional look people would giver her large and puffy pink socks.
It took some searching but at last she had found a particularly well polished hall one she believed was close to the hospital wing? Marietta wasn't sure since she was still having a hard time figuring out where everything in the castle was and she often tended to stay away from the hospital wing.
She leaned against a wall and popped a brownie into her mouth. Even though they were meant for sad people she knew it would take a moment for the hall to be clear of students enough to safely slide. She gave an involuntary shudder at the thought of running into some one. Just as Marietta expected it took awhile but it happened. There were only a few students left in the hall now and she was positive she could slide without hitting them.
Her time had come. Marietta re positioned her bag, took a deep breath and began to run. She would run picking up speed until she stopped turning her feet to the side. If Marietta was wearing shoes, or running on the grounds at best she'd just stop at worst she'd go flying through the air and crash face first usually it was an in-between of just falling forward. But here she flew in a different way she flew on the ground gliding across the floor at a breakneck speed it wasn't long before she had to give a shout of "Weeeeeeeee" as her hair whipped behind her. Then Marietta made the fatal mistake, the dumbest thing she could of ever done, she closed her eyes. She felt the wind hitting her even though she wasn't outside she felt free, she felt-it when her feet hit stone and something that wasn't polished hall she opened her eyes to see that she was flying through the air head for the courtyard fountain.
The fall into the fountain was unavoidable but thankfully she manged to throw her bag off before she crashed so her precious brownies didn't get wet. SPLOOSH! Any student who turned to look would see a sopping Marietta in the fountain. A few gave her looks of pity others kept moving and a good handful openly laughed then left.
Marietta grinned sure they laughed at her and that kinda hurt but hey at least she made somebody smile today. That made Marietta smile as she climbed out of the fountain and began the oh-so-much-fun search for her bag.

Another day, Another Adventure.
Hearing a splash near the fount Alana lifted her attention from her book. Alana's sea-foam blue eyes sparkled brightly as the young Gryffindor girl turned her gaze to the young first year girl who seemed to be climbing out of the water fountain. Water seemed to gather under the young girls feet. Alana closed her book resting the book in her satchel that she carries around often. Standing up from her spot that she was sitting at the young fiery red haired girl began to walk over with a skip in her step.
Alana moved with a hop to her little skip as she moved closer to the young girl who seemed to be sopping wet. Alana's fiery red hair swayed shimmering in the sun's rays. Alana's sea-foam eyes radiated like the night sky. Alana smiled brightly over at the young girl who was sopping wet. Noting she only had fluffy socks and not actual shoes which seemed to confuse the red haired girl greatly. Alana smiled brightly over at the young girl.
"Are you alright?"
Alana spoke softly her tone was soft and sweet like honey. Alana smiled brightly though she was concerned the young girl in front of her may have been injured though seeing the other young girl smile even though the other girl was sopping wet. Alana was genuinely concerned for the other girls safety after all she did fall into the fountain.

Another day, Another Adventure.
Marietta was now grinning from ear to ear. The wind seemed to whisper and the clouds were chuging across the sky slowly but surely. They weren't exactly beautiful but, there was the squawking of occasional bids. Being sopping wet in early of spring turned out to be more fun than she had expected. She began trying to shake off the water like a dog when a red head like herself approached her expressing concern.
Somehow, someway, Marietta grinned wider "Alright? I'm better than alright, I'm awesome!!! Granted, I hadn't added the possibility for falling into a fountain to my plans but that's okay I did pack a change of socks and some shoes." She'd say looking around for her rogue satchel while simultaneously taking off her socks. She'd wouldn't spot it so she would turn to the girl who still seemed very concerned and confused and explain to her "I couldn't help but notice how clean and smooth the halls always are and when I was younger I like to put on fuzzy socks and pretend to ice skate around my kitchen floor. I realized I could probably do the same thing except longer and faster in the halls and... Well you can probably piece together what happened from there." Marietta then began to ring out her socks back into the fountain. Still looking for her satchel.
"would you terribly mind if I sat with you while I try to dry off?" Marietta would ask spotting the girl's stuff next to a bench.

Another day, Another Adventure.
Alana stared at the young girl in front of her taking in the other girls appearance noting the water droplets that seemed to gently plop down onto the courtyard cobble ground. Alana continued to gaze at the other girl curiously Alana's sea-foam green eyes sparkled brightly like the stars. Alana's fiery red hair swayed back and fourth in the gentle breeze softly as the sun landed on the duo just right making Alana's hair seem to shimmer slightly. The sweet smell of the fresh blooming flowers seemed to waft through the air calmly.
Alana continued to stare at Marietta smiling gently at the other girl showing off a toothy little grin. Alana listened to the young girl speak as she seemed to be high in spirits even after landing in the fountain. Alana could not help but chuckle softly at how the other girl seemed ever so cheerful.
"The castle floors do seem a bit smooth maybe I should try it some time it would be quite fun to try but I do not think landing in a fountain would be on my list."
Alana teased lightly in a soft honey sweet tone. Alana continued to gaze at the girl in front of her humming softly. When the other girl spoke again asking to sit with Alana. Alana smiled brightly at the other girl showing off a toothy grin.
"Of course you can sit with me. I am Alana by the way and you are?"
Alana spoke with a tone of curiosity as she started to make her way back towards her things that rested on the marble bench nearby. Alana's fiery red hair bobbed up and down softly as she hummed softly to herself.
Making her way back towards the bench Alana moved her satchel and books around to allow the other girl room to sit beside her. Alana turned around to stare at the other girl with a toothy little grin on her sun-kissed tone skin as Alana's freckles seemed to be vibrant in the sunlight.

Another day, Another Adventure.
Marietta would follow Alana to the bench her usually frizzy, everywhere hair damp. It would pain a pain of the next week, possibly two. "Well I didn't plan on landing in a fountain yet here we are" Marietta would gesture to the courtyard with her hands smiling again as Alana pulled her stuff out of the way.
Marietta sat scanning the courtyard again. There was no way in heck she was going to lose her satchel, it had her cookies and change of socks in there. She rubbed her neck in worry catching the scent of orange. Shoot, she'd probably have to deal with blisters tonight or maybe she could find a way to leave before it started to irritate her sk-Alana said something.
"Oh, oh! I'm Marietta its a pleasure to meet you Alana!" Marietta would hold out her hand to shake. No, Marietta wasn't leaving anytime soon not when she had a new friend to talk to. Besides Alana seemed pretty nice. Red hair and vibrant freckles Marietta couldn't help thinking of the kids that went around in her muggle school asking red heads with they had souls, and when they got to her she had firmly explained that she had brown hair, not red.
"Oh and by the way did you happen to see a flying rogue satchel by any chance?" Marietta would cross her fingers with her other hand. "I chucked it before I landed in the fountain so my cookies wouldn't get wet"
