Among the stars
Anna was exited, she adored Astronomy and everything and anything involving space and stars. So it was no wonder Astronomy was her favourite subject, also no wonder was her heading with Freya up to the Astronomy Tower to stargaze. She owled the professor a few days ago to ask if they could come over and stargaze and chat. The professor kindly obliged and let them have the observatory to themselves. She would be at her desk grading papers and overlooking the girls. But tonight the sky was theirs to explore.
It was a short walk from the Ravenclaw tower to the Astronomy Tower, but the two Ravenclaws were waiting for a particular Slytherin as well. Caoimhe wanted to join them as well, and Anna was happy she could share her love for stars with her friends. Freya and Anna arrived at the tower, and stood at the door waiting for Kee. Anna was buzzing. The night was clear, they would have the best equipment to stargaze and she also brought a few light snacks to munch on while they chatted. She turned to Freya. “This is so exciting! Of course the view from the common room is great, but from here.. Oh it’s everything!”, she did a little twirl and smiled at her friend. “What are you the most excited about?”

Freya was really excited for her little trip with Anna to the astronomy tower and luckily Anna got permission from the professor for all of us!
Freya loves space it fascinates her especially the stars. The stars are her favourite.
Anna and Freya reach the astronomy. A smile forms on her face watching a smiley Anna twirl arround in happiness.
"I am really excited to meet Caoimhe! She sounds cool! I'm also very excited about stargazing! I love stargazing! Back home there was a small forest like area where me and uncle Sorin used to go to and it was really fun! He'd tell me about constellations and stuff!"
She exclaims excitedly kind of talking way too much as she usually does. But she really was excited for all it and ofc hanging out with your Hogwarts cousin is always fun.
"shall we sit my dear cousin? I have some candy too would you like any?"
She asks with a smile putting a hand in her pocket walking a little further from where they were looking all arround the place completely taken aback by how beautiful it was.
She walks over the railings and looks down smiling and gestures for Anna to join her."

-----Caoimhe choose to loiter at the library with her friend before making her way to the Ravenclaw's residence rather than returning all the way to the dungeons simply to return to the Astronomy Tower. Even though it was still a considerable amount of walking, she had no doubt in her mind that the view would be well worth the effort. By the time she reached the Astronomy tower, she would give off a trace of heat from her body, but the coolness of the space that greeted her was a welcomed antidote.
Because she did not want to disrupt the professor while he was grading the students' work, she strolled quietly through the classroom and greeted him with a friendly smile. Through the glass, she could see her favorite member of the Ravenclaw house already looking up at the clouds, but there was another girl standing next to her.
When Caoimhe entered the tower, she was met with a gentle breeze that made her shiver. She would first undo the knot that was around her hips and then zip up the jacket. Caoimhe couldn't help but chuckle to herself whenever she saw the two girls dressed in their pajamas, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy at how comfortable they seemed. "Hey Anna," Caoimhe greeted with a smile, then glanced at the other girl before introducing herself: "Hey, I'm Caoimhe, you are?" but the girl's face seemed familiar. She had wondered if they went to Art club picnic with Kayla and Kim Sato previously during the Fall term, but she couldn't remember properly.
Her focus would be distracted by the clear view of stars above. Of course she had been up here before for class, but she'd always find herself fascinated by space.

Lost in her thoughts she didn't notice when the Slytherin girl had joined them and greeted Anna but quickly zones back in when the girl introduced herself.
Freya smiles liking the girls vibe and introduces herself in response "Well hello there Caoimhe! I'm Freya, Freya Augustus. We were waiting for you! Now we can start the party" she says jokingly laughing at the end of her sentence a little.
She takes her hand out of her pocket full of candy and hold out for them "Candy anyone? I came packed with candies of all kinds i had and could find in my dorm!
We have the hard kind, the gummy kind and the choclate ones! Those three are my personal favourite" she says while pointing to the candies and matching them to their kinds and continues "i also have the kind that fizzles in our mouths! And i also have energy bars and stuff. Choose whatever youd like!"
Giving the girls tons of options to choose from she felt as she if she accomplished something.
She looks up at the beautiful stars and admires their patterns.
She doesn't know much about space but she loves stargazing and lucky for her two smart girls are here to help her out.
"what do you guys love the most about space?" she questions the girls.

She listened as Freya talked about stargazing with her uncle, and how she’s excited to meet Caoimhe. “I used to stargaze with my maman. She has a telescope set up on one of our highest balconies, and there are blankets and pillows all strewn across it so it’s really cozy up there, especially in summer nights”. She added her own experience, her mother was the one who gave her her love of stars.
Freya mentioned sweets and Anna wanted to hug her immediately. They were about to sit down and enjoy some candy when Kee appeared. She greeted Anna and introduced herself to Freya. “Hi Kee! It’s so nice we managed to get together like this”, she grinned at her two friends.
Freya introduced herself as well and pulled out a bunch of candy out of her pocket. Anna squeaked for a second, there were so many different kinds! “Chocolate please!”, she exclaimed as she picked out one with white flakes and popped it into her mouth. She melted like the chocolate in her mouth. It was so good, she almost missed the question Freya asked. As she chewed the sweet delight she thought for a second. “The constellations. It’s fascinating how we grouped up a bunch of random stars and gave them names and meaning, and how much they influence our life”. She took another piece of chocolate and leaned against the railing, enjoying the breeze in her hair.

-----It was refreshing to take a small vacation from the den of vipers that she so frequently inhabited, and it was also great to be in the company of people who were different from the cunning, conviving students too. The freedom of being outside was wonderful, but as she looked up at the cosmos, she felt more minuscule than she had at any other time. She questioned why she gave life such weight when she was but a little particle in the vastness of the universe. Caoimhe wondered if she should relax from time to time and choose happiness over progression.
Caoimhe would respond to Freya's friendly greeting with a slight grin, already warming up to her due to her thoughtfulness and the fact that she had brought snacks. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Freya. If it's okay with you, I'd like some chocolate, please."
After carefully removing a plastic wrapped chocolate-covered truffle from Freya's open hand, she would then turn to Anna and listen while the latter discussed the constellations, nodding her head in accord the whole time.
Caoimhe was going to respond to Freya's question with a similar message regarding constellations, but she also had something else to add as her own personal response: "I couldn't have expressed it any more eloquently. Many centuries ago, both muggles and wizards relied on the stars for navigation. It's incredible, to say the least."
She would unwrap the plastic of the truffle and pop it into her mouth, putting the trash in her pocket, before looking up at the skies. "I don't know much beyond that, though. What about you, Freya?"
