Bailey! Hey! It's good to hear from you again, I always wonder if the people I meet will ever write to me. It's great to get a letter from you, makes me psyched to see you again! I'm doing fine over here, studies are going well and I'm making progress. Hopefully by the time summer rolls around, I'll be able to achieve gold status! Well, that's just wishful thinking, it's really hard to obtain that color, as it's the highest level one can reach at Mahoutokoro. What about you? Have you done anything fun since I left?

Hm, if I could teach any subject, I'd probably want to teach something relating to quidditch. I've always loved the sport and can't ever get enough of it. I could share my thoughts and experiences on the sport and offer some creative ideas too. Maybe I could even teach it to newcomers! I mean that would probably be more along the lines of something a captain or co-captain would do. But it would be fun if it was a class too! Otherwise, let me think for a moment. All of the classes we take here are educational...

I enjoy learning all of them. But I'd probably want to delve into healing maybe? After the first Hexwizard task, I kind of got worried about my friends. But I don't know any healing spells, so I felt kind of useless. No, I don't have a special someone, not yet at least, but it's completely fine! I have lots of friends, which more than makes up for the absence of that special someone. You do too, right? I'm sure one day you'll find someone to fill that role, you have that energy about you. I can sense it! Don't forget to be positive!

Dear Hiro,
hello!!!!! It is so good to hear from you!!!! I know, i only have a few friends from other schools, and i don't think i've gotten an owl from any of them.... but you - i just wanted to talk to!!! i love talking with you, your happiness is so contagious, and i love that about you!!!
Besides my best friend Kim and my other two friends Coco and Taizu, you are probably the person i trust and care about most in the magical community.
You know when you find a person that just clicks with you - for me, you are one of those people!
Anyway, im glad your studies are going well!! I am sure all of your hard work will pay off and you'll get that gold status!! For me, not much has happened. School, friends, clubs. I am been starting to acquire more and more club with Kim, between the two of us, we are going to be in charge of a majority of the clubs by the end of next year if i had to guess ><
Ohh sounds like you really love quidditch!!! me, i am not a fan of brooms... i can be clumsy and had an incident when i tripped over a broom... in front of my entire class!!!! Now i try and steer clear. But... next time you come i might be willing to try and learn something.
I do have plenty of friends, kim and coco and taizu helped me get out of my shell, and now i am becoming more sociable. And i am sure eventually someone will come along, for the both of us.
As for that energy - i think you have it too!! You're like a ray of sunshine!!!

Bailey! I always try to respond to letters I get the same day I get them. You won't get the letter the same day I write them but you should always get them the day afterward! Most of the time when someone says they'll write me they never do and then when I see them again, I always bug them about it. I find it easier to go after them in person, since they can't really avoid me that way haha! I totally know what you mean by finding people you 'click' with from the very start of meeting them. I have some people like that too.

The SNACBASH members. SNACBASH is our own little group of close-knit 'friends'. It's composed of four people and we took the initials of all of our names and put them together. Well, I say 'we' but really it was just me who did it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one holding us all together and hope our connection doesn't end up unraveling at some point in time. They've been drifting apart from SNACBASH lately and I've been worrying about it, they all tell me not to worry but it's hard not to do so.

Sounds like you've been busy over there! Don't take on too many clubs and wear yourself out!

It's always important to make time to rest now and then. Yes!!! I'm a huge quidditch fan and even have a nickname I'm known as by my fans and even the announcers always call me by that name.

It's Tone. It refers to my hair tone color, as I tend to change it often. Probably a lot more often than anyone else. I just don't want to be seen as drab and plain all the time. I kind of like the nickname. Tone, Hue, and Shade were nicknames I was considering but I kind of liked the sound of the first one the most. Once I got the announcers to call me that, everyone else kind of followed suit. Oh, you don't like brooms? That's a shame, they're so much fun to be on! I can never get enough of them, it's a passion.

But yeah, maybe when I come over again I can teach you a few things! Aww thanks, Sunny. Let's be sunshine together then! Can't wait to see you again when I come back to Hogwarts for the tournament!

I do do my best to return owls as soon as I can, though I do get carried away at times and write a super long letter, then overthink it and convince myself I have to rewrite it. But… any letter to you will be the original, typos and everything
That sounds really cool, your group of friends. My friends, Kim, Taizu, and coco- we never really hang out anymore. Coco (colin) is always chasing his dream girl, a good friend of mine, @Clair Fernandez, Taizu I just don’t see much, and Kim…. Kim is as social as I am. We spend so much time together I’ve hear one or two people saying that we’re dating - but we TOTALLY are not

I do have a feeling that I’m reaching my limit, and will stop taking on clubs- I am gonna wear myself out if I don’t. Resting… I am getting better at taking time for myself. Not as good as I could be, but I have improved.

Ohh Tone- that’s a cute nickname! I love it! There is a slightly older classmate of mine, @Hanako Tone who is sometimes called Tone simply cause that’s their last name. I don’t know Hanna very well, but I’ve seen him around.

Maybe you can convince me to get on a broom- I feel like if I find the right person to help me, aka probably you, I’d be ok. The only other person I’d really trust to do so would be Kim but he is TERRIFIED of brooms, and heights in general.

So... I couldn't help but construct a letter back to you the same night I got yours. But it took me awhile to finish it and then it was too late to go and send it via owl to you until morning time. I totally understand what you're saying about not seeing a lot of your old friends as much anymore. However, I'm pretty happy to have someone like you in my life now! We can tell eachother anything and everything and comfort eachother whenever something bad goes on in our lives! It'll be like our own little world we can live in together! Doesn't that sound great to you? Not that I'm saying we should only bond over the bad stuff, don't forget to tell eachother all the good stuff too! I tend to babble a lot people say but it's just that I don't want to forget anything and want to get everything out there. It's not that I just like to talk a lot.

Well, I do. But that's not the point here! It's good that you're going to slow down and not take on any more clubs. Resting is also a big part of being responsible too! Even though I barely rest myself, sometimes my body gives me warning signs and I end up having to force myself to rest and slow down. Your body will tell you when something is wrong with it, all you have to do is listen to it and adjust yourself accordingly. If you do, everything will be fine! Thanks, I like it too. It's one of the more fun nicknames I have, ones that I actually like and aren't as disappointing as 'cockroach' and 'annoyance' and 'nuisance'. I don't really mind 'pygmy puff' but I prefer Tone and Calico more. Do you have any nicknames? Other than sunshine of course! Really, someone actually has my nickname as their name?

That's so cool! It would be fun if I could meet them sometime! I wonder if he knows me, well has heard of me before. Hah, I'll convince you to get on a broom when I get there! It'll be tons of fun and I'm very good at persuading people to do things! Kim, that name sounds familiar, didn't you mention him before? Wait, he was your best friend, right? A shame he's afraid of heights and brooms, I'd have dragged him over to put him on one. We could have done a threesome together on brooms! Seriously, quidditch and brooms are literally the greatest thing in the entire world. Once you've been part of a quidditch game, there's no going back. It's unlike anything you will ever experience. Watching it doesn't do it justice.

Actually playing in the game is a completely different feeling than what you get from merely spectating.

Since we're both sunshine, let's make that our thing from now on! I'll call you Sunny and you can call me something similar and when you put them together it'll be rays of sunshine!

haha i love writing you, but totally forgot to reply - i got your letter and then something happened... trying to remember what. one of my dorm mates probably did something, to be honest. they are good dormmates, but can be crazy at times - though we all can be, to be fair.
I cant help it, sometimes i feel like its my fault for pushing friends away - though i know that can't be true. i don't remember ever turning someone down for anything, even when i should have. but why do i feel responsible for friendships leaving, or fading?
I really enjoy writing you - its like having someone to confide in!!! and i can't help but feel like we're actually talking at times, even though we're writing letters, and are hours apart (by muggle measuring at least)
I will start taking more time for myself, and work on resting. i should get kim to do the same... otherwise he'll burn himself out. i think he may have more clubs than i do and that's saying something. between the two of us - i've probably said this before - but we probably run 75% of the clubs at hogwarts.
as for nicknames..... would you mind if i called you 'shine'? i think it suits you and your sunny happiness, and how you seem to glow with joy. you just... emanate happiness, its like being around a sunbeam when i see you. even through letters, you just seem so... happy!!
It would be fun to introduce kim to you, i think you would get along splendidly!! He's kinda the black cat to my golden retriever at times, but he can be happy and cheerful, as long as its not early morning. he does not like mornings, and i love them; just one of the many ways we're different

good luck at getting kim on a broom, i think that may be his worst nightmare ><
but i would be willing to try, whenever you next come. as long as you coach me through it, i think i will be ok lolol

Hey! It's an early morning letter from you! I was up early too, out practicing for quidditch. Sometimes I get up really early just to get in some extra practice time. Like I said before, it's really addicting! I kind of wonder what you'd do if you were to play it with me. I'm thinking... you'd probably be either a chaser or seeker. Maybe a chaser! You're bubbly and like to go after people! Haha! You know I'm a beater, right? I can't remember if I told you this before. I actually was debating between being a beater and a chaser but ended up being a beater because it's just so much fun to carry a bat with you. It challenges your balance all the time. Plus, you can beat the bludgers away from your team and help them out in the long run.

Sure, you're a target of the opposing team and can get hit by bludgers yourself but at the same time, I'm pretty sturdy, so I can take hits pretty well. I'm also not really afraid of getting hit, as long as it helps out my team. Do you take part in any official wizarding sports? Or is all your free time taken up with the clubs you own and co-run? Maybe I can make a quidditch player out of you yet when I come over again! Give you a whole makeover with new colored hair, a new hairstyle, fashionable outfits, and put you on a broom. That'll be a sight to see! You can't really please everyone, those who leave you must not have been meant to be with you in the first place. For most, I'd say just let them go if they leave you later.

It's only the ones you truly believe you can't live without that you should fight for, even if they try and push you away from them. I mean there might be a reason behind their actions and they just can't say it to you at the time, you know? For nicknames, yes let's do it! I love Shine and since you're Sunny, it works out perfectly! Ah, I don't get those who aren't morning people. If you don't get up in the morning, you're missing out on almost half the day! I'm more of a morning person than a night person. But at the same time, I'm a night person too hahahaha! If I had to pick one, I'd say mornings. But I really like the nights too. What about you? Which one do you prefer? Or are you like me and love both of them?

hiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!! omg i love getting letters from you, it just makes me so happy and makes me smile so much!!!!! you and your eternal quidditch >< can't blame you though hehe, that's like me and reading. slightly different, but still .... an obsession, but a simi healthy one.
wait you're a beater - isn't that dangerous? i do agree, if i did play i would probably be a chaser or seeker. maybe chaser cause i don't want to be targeted.. though everyone gets targeted to a certain level, to be fair. Balance - i have pretty good balance, at least on solid ground thanks to my martial arts and taekwondo training. I think you'd be pretty good at martial arts, you sounds like you have the strength and balance and such.
i don't take part in any wizarding sports. kim does, but i have all of my clubs, and school, and tutoring people, and then time for me...... im so swamped.
Ohh if you could die my hair, what color would you dye it? i have the tips blue, and i told kim once he learns the spell to dye hair, that i would let him do my whole head for the first time.
that is why i fight for kim, and coco, and tiazu. those people are the most important for me, and i am sure i will get other close friends as well.

Hey Sunny!

Whatcha up to? How are your studies coming along? Mine are decent, pretty much the same.

There's a lot of work but when I really focus on it, I can get it done. It's just hard to keep myself on track when there's so many other things I can do too. I guess that's my main problem. I get distracted too easily from my studies when there's people around me. I love getting letters from you too! Oh, you're a reader? I love books too! Not as much as I love running after people and quidditch but I've read some things here and there. Yeah, I'm a beater. It's a fun position to have! It can be dangerous but any sport can be dangerous, you just have to make sure you're paying attention to your surroundings in the end.

You do martial arts? I do too! I do more mixed martial arts though, I guess it's called? A little of every kind of style, master of none ahahaha! I've done a little taekwondo before but not that much. Have you tried different types of them? Or just done taekwondo? What's your favorite type of martial art? I definitely want to try dyeing your hair sometime. As for color... I guess it would depend on what clothes you were wearing at the time. I tend to dye depending on the outfit and then style according to the hair color afterward. Kim does it too? Sounds like him and I would get along from what you say about him!

I don't think I've met your three closest friends.

We should all get together sometime and hang out when I'm over there!

If you ever get a chance to come to Mahoutokoro, I'll introduce you to everyone here too. Or if all the SNACBASH members come to Hogwarts sometime, I'll see if I can gather them and introduce you! We're the same morning type of people. It's really the best during the morning time. What kind of food do you like to eat?
