Lunchtime was here!

The white haired teen always looked forward to lunch time.

Not only did he get to eat delicious food but it was also a prime time to go after lots of new people and make friends! Of course, he'd also greet those he already knew, just so they wouldn't feel left out too.

Hiro was currently wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, white pants and a diamond necklace. A few rings could also be seen gracing some of the fingers of his left hand. Yes, this afternoon, he'd chosen to dress completely in white attire, as it matched his current hair color style. Grabbing a few choice snacks, meat pies, Hiro decided to head outside this time. There were too many people crowding around others inside right now and it would be harder to get their attention. He waved at many familiar faces as he left the main palace.

The white haired teen headed towards the garden area, the one that was woven in and around the large complex and was considered to be part of the main palace. As he drew closer to his destination, the back of a person's head could be seen in the distance. Hiro tilted his head to the side as he bit off a piece of one of his meat pies and tried to figure out who it was. He couldn't make out the person's identity from behind and became curious as he approached the one in question. Ah, it was a boy. But not a really close friend, not yet...

Ah! It was Ritsu!

One of the more recent additions to Mahoutokoro, who had been admitted earlier this year.

Hiro came up behind Ritsu and pounced on him, wrapping his arms around the other boy's neck. "Ritsu-chan!!!" He exclaimed with a grin and rocked Ritsu back and forth with his arms and body weight swinging from side to side. "You know... you should join our quidditch team! We're in desperate need of some chasers, I think you'd do really well in that role!" Hiro said with a smile. The boy wasn't wearing his navy blue robes at the moment but that was because he didn't want them to get dirty with food...

After all, it was lunch time! "Whatcha doin'? Writing? Want a meat pie?" Hiro asked as he finally let go of him and offered Ritsu one of the meat pies he'd grabbed earlier. It wasn't much but it was something.

He was halfway through the second paragraph of his letter when he was pounced on, on by one of the second year students. Ritsu was pretty sure his name was Hiro Bakugo. "Hello Hiro-san." he greeted the boy with white hair with a smile. His arms still around his neck.

It was then that a question he definitely wasn't expecting was asked. The quidditch team. Ritsu knew that they had one, as well Duelling and Broom racing teams. But he wasn't exactly sure if he would ever want to join. He did have an interest in sports. As he was thinking Hiro had let go and asked another series of questions.

"Oh um yes thank you" He spoke as he grabbed the meat pie. Somehow he forgot it was lunch. "Yeah, I'm writing a letter to my father explaining what all as happened." he answered one of the questions he had skipped.

He took a bite of the pie, and swallowed before he continued to talk. "So you think I would make a good chaser? There the ones that try to score with the quaffle right?" he had general knowledge of quidditch, but the first year wanted to make sure they were on the same page. He was probably going to say yes though. It could be fun!

Ritsu greeted him back!

He was someone who didn't tend to try and push him away all the time, for whatever reason.

Whenever that happened, Tone always felt happy, it was as if the two of them were friends already! Well, technically they were, because Tone wouldn't have let him be alone if that hadn't been the case. As Ritsu accepted the meat pie, the white haired teen grinned at him and took another bite of his own. "What do you think? Tasty, isn't it?" He said and nodded when Ritsu told him he was writing a letter to his father. As Ritsu asked him about quidditch, specifically about chasers, Tone nodded again. "Mm. You're right!!!"

"I think you'd do well as one. You gonna try out for the team?" He asked. All the SNACBASH members were on the quidditch team, with the exception of Akira. Tone still hadn't been able to convince Aki to join them. Mostly because of Akira's reluctance to get on a broom. The teen finished off his meat pie and licked his fingers free of crumbs. "What are you doing after this?" Tone asked, really eager to see if Ritsu was doing anything later before classes resumed again. Maybe they could go to the quidditch grounds.

And sign him up for the team!

Well, at least put him on the list of possible candidates and see what the others thought of him.

"Yes, it is very tasty!" the boy had echoed. Meat pies, they weren't his most favorite dish. He did love them, but not as much as some other meals. Ritsu kept his gaze in the general area of Hiro, not direct eye contact.

He nodded when asked about joining the team. couldn't be that bad? The worst that could happen was a few scrapes and bruises. At lest in his eyes. If he made the team, he made the team. If not he had a good story to write to his father. He took a bite of the pie.

"nothing to important really. I was going to finish my letter, but that can be put on hold. Why do you ask?" he had a suspicion on what the older student would suggest, based on how the conversation had went until this point. He soon finished the pie after the sentence.

What would happen if he did get on the team? He didn't have a broom, that would be an easy fix. What about plain old skill, there was sure to be other chasers that had more experience then the young boy. How could he keep up with them? He had a few questions to ask people... Hiro and his father included.

Tone didn't have classes until 1^PM again.

Even though he usually tended to do homework during or after lunchtime, he could take some time off.

After all, getting Ritsu to sign up for quidditch was more important right now! Upon hearing that Ritsu didn't really have anything to do, other than finish the letter to his father, Tone grinned at him. "Then let's go sign you up for quidditch auditions!" He exclaimed and reached down to grab Ritsu's hand within his own. Tone hauled him to his feet, which should have given the other boy an impression as to how strong he actually was, and smiled at him. "You have any experience flying?" He asked the other boy, curious.

Tone didn't know much about Ritsu's belongings. Such as whether or not he had a good broom or not. Or whether he was good at flying or just average. Surely he couldn't be bad at it, or he would have outright rejected the idea of becoming a chaser for them. If his situation with his parents had been different, Tone would have offered to help Ritsu out with a broom. But as it was, he didn't even have enough to get one on his own. If Ayako and Akira hadn't helped him out, he didn't know what he would have done. But they had....

He really wanted to help out his fellow Mahoutokoro students.

But if it required financial means, Tone wouldn't be able to do so. At least not during his time at school.

Speaking of which, regarding the future he couldn't really decide between quidditch and being a healer. Of course, he'd 100% go for quidditch because that was what made him happy and he wasn't too bad at it when he was on a broom. However, playing quidditch for a living was hard to do, so as a backup Tone was seriously considering devoting his time to learning the healing arts. That way, if his path to quidditch failed, he could always revert to his backup plan. Tone did have an interest in both, so it was able to motivate him....

Hiro had answered his question quite energetically, to say the least. It was.. Sudden. One moment he was sitting and writing, then he was ambushed in a sense, and now he was on his way to apply for the quidditch team?

Ok some things did happen in between it all. "yes I do have some experience. Not as much as I would like, but its there." he spoke with a nod. He did notice that he had made a switch from Japanese to English.. Ritsu had decided to stick with what had started with.

"Wall we head off then?" he asked, he would wait for Hiro to begin movement before following, for a few reasons. One he was already a quidditch player so he must have known the way, and two as a second year he had much more experience walking around the vast school.

All things Ritsu had yet to accomplish and do. Get on the team, witch he was in the progress of doing at the moment, and become a second year. That would naturally happen within time. As most things do. Age, experience, growths. Arguably everything did happen within time. Or with time. If it was an argument.. Ritsu could not have it without mentioning cheese, most had to age for a while before becoming what they know it as.

Tone nodded.

It was really great that Ritsu had some experience flying, it was better than nothing at all!

Around this time, Tone realized he'd lapsed into english, a recent habit from talking to various people in english lately to make new friends. As Ritsu continued to speak in their native language, Tone switched back to it too. "Mm." He headed off towards the quidditch headquarters. It was there Ritsu could fill out the signup sheet and grab a school broom to practice for the team. Until he was able to participate in the tryouts. Of course, he wouldn't use a school broom forever. If he made it onto the team, he could get a better broom.

Eventually. "You can practice with a school broom for the tryouts. The tryouts usually make you use one anyway, so we can see your current skill versus others. Once you make the team, you'll eventually be able to get a better broom." Tone explained to him. Time was now running out but he still had a few more minutes to spend with the potential new member of the team. "Here's the sheet. Fill it out and I can take it over to Kao and he'll contact you about tryouts." He told him.

Tone went over to the side.

He rummaged behind some boxes and selected one of the brooms back there for Ritsu.

"You can use this one for the tryouts." He told him and handed him the broom. "If you have any questions later on, please feel free to send me an owl or find me! I'm usually around everywhere all the time. I guarantee you'll see me often around the school." Tone promised with a grin. He would wait until Ritsu finished filling out the form and then would take the paper off with him. It was time for classes to start up again. "See you soon!" Tone called out as he left the area with Ritsu's sheet.
