A Letter to the Angels
Skylar stuck out her hand for a handshake, even though she just said might and not yes. But that also didn't mean yes or no so there was still a possibility. But then that also meant that Anastasia could chicken out or just decide to abandon her during bad situations, which she was very aware of, but Skylar decided to try to be positive and just think that the girl was just being cautious about agreeing to do something big with an eleven year old girl who was obviously a bit crazy.
"So right now we're just laying low, planning mostly. It's only really me, you, and a few other people, the chosen elite, and we only want the best in our group." She grinned evilly but then stopped, realizing how weird she was acting. She didn't know why she wanted to act different in front of this girl, she wasn't doing anything special to Skylar.
Squinting at her in suspicion, feeling like she was being tricked somehow. She usually didn't care for anyone's opinion--unless it was insulting her well being. Anastasia seemed normal, well, at least more normal that herself. Probably nobody could compare to Skylar with all the weird things in her head, the somewhat dark tSkylar nodded at the girl. "Hm, I think I'll catch you later, Anastasia--can I call you Stacey? It's less time consuming to say." She waved at the girl and left the owlery, hair bouncing with each step.

A Letter to the Angels
Anastasia looked down at the other girl's hand for a moment before gingerly reaching out and shaking it rather firmly. If nothing else, she could ditch them if they wanted to do something insane like human sacrifice or something. She rather wondered if she'd just accidentally joined a cult. She would know what a cult was like... She didn't actually have too many issues with that, she just wanted to be clear with the other girl that she was not some underling or minion. Anastasia Beckett had underlings and minions, she was most definitely not one.
Anastasia considered asking who the other "chosen elite" were, but she decided against it. She could look into that herself since she didn't have homework to do right now or anything. She also wondered why this girl was suddenly acting like an evil mastermind. If this girl turned out to be unhinged or something, all bets were off. After all, Anastasia was a bit unhinged herself, but she could act like she was normal most of the time.
Anastasia shook her head when the girl asked if she could call her Stacy. She hated being called Stacy, due to her condescending cousin calling her that. "If you want to, you can call me A," Anastasia offered.
Long story short, I survived
