Angelique had been at Koldovstoretz since she was young; always happy spirited and was slightly sad that many of her friends had moved away. Never mind - today was different. Today new students would arrive. She wore her red uniform, as boys wore blue and although she hated the color she attempted to make herself look nice. Then, as she strolled casually, she wondered if there were students that she never knew - so she could show them around. A girl caught her eye. She was sitting on the grass, clasping something yellow in her hand. But then, she remembered who it was. Not by name; heavens no, Angelique did not spare much time for making new friends, always being content with her own. But that girl has been with her since the start of her magical journey - and she decided to meet her. Angelique approached her sunnily, giving the girl a polite, cheerful smile. "Hi!" She finally said in an upbeat voice, although it was obvious that she was not faking her excitement, "I'm Angelique Selemine, I don't believe we met yet." She had said, as her voice returned to her normal tone. She tucked her sheet of blond hair behind her ear and waited for the girls reaction..

Roksana was quite bored right now as usual because every two seconds she wasn't doing something was two perfectly good seconds of her life wasted on doing absolutely nothing. Until... "I'm Angelique Selemine, I don't believe we met yet." Roksana very slowly raised her head and looked up to see a girl standing over her. Why did she always have to meet people while she was sitting down and they were standing up? The girl was very pretty, and like Roksana, had blonde hair and blue eyes, though her hair looked a lot better.

Roksana quickly erased the thought and cocked her head at the girl Angelique, then she pasted on a smile. "No, I don't believe we have met," She said. And, without skipping a beat, she immediately stood up, grabbed Angelique's hand to shake it, and said, "Well well, very nice to meet you, Angelique, I'm Roksana Nikolayev Volkov, respectively."

She was wondering a lot about Angelique already, but now was not the time for wondering. "Is this your first time going to Koldovstoretz? Or were you here earlier? I've been here since I was 8..." said Roksana, looking up at the school. "Oh, excuse my manners," said Roksana. "I've always been taught to let my compeer speak first." She knew that she was being quite odd and disgustingly whimsical as her babushka would think...

But her babushka wasn't here...and neither was dedushka...so everything was perfectly fine. Besides, she never cared what her grandparents ever thought. And she was on her own terms now, so no more than a second of her day would ever be wasted in the meantime.

" Don't worry about manners, I must say mine might suffer slightly too..." She tilted her head and laughed pleasently. " You can call me An, if you like." As Roksana asked another question, since when had she been here? Well, that was a quick answer. " I've been here since the very start the youngest kids here. They look so small when you think about it." She smiled fondly, " A really random question, but do you have siblings?" Angelique asked curiously, thinking about her own family. She had mother and father, but that was it. She wondered what it was like having a big family, always full of laughter and loud noises. Her own Cottage in the countryside was calm and serene, just like her. Although it was full of baking - she did love it. The girl seemed to be nice enough, and it was a shame that they hadn't met earlier. " May I call you Roksi?" She said finally, and looked into Roksana's bright blue eyes. She wondered what extra-carriculum the girl did for sports - she did Dueling, a sport that she loved well.

It was quite enough to say that Roksana was very much intrigued by Angelique. Had she ever had a real friend before? Not that she could remember. Her mother would really want her to try and make new friends. Her mother wanted a lot of unthinkably good things for her. So, like always, Roksana would take her advice.

"Well, I'm glad that I don't have to worry about them for once..." Roksana said to Angelique in reference to manners. She was smiling. "You don't happen to be a pureblood, do you? Just asking, because, well it might be kinda good to know..." Why in the world was she asking that again? Roksana couldn't even remember.

"Wow, you have much more experience here than I do! Even If you're not really doing much at the school before your 11th birthday." Roksana remembered, not too fondly, that if her dad's parents, her grandparents, had gotten their way, she wouldn't be going to Koldovstoretz at all. In fact, she would've been at Durmstrang right now.

Her grandparents had gone to Durmstrang when they were younger, and they wanted Roksana to go to Durmstrang too, but eventually, her parents had convinced them to let her go to Koldovstoretz. Rolan, on the other hand..."Yeah, I actually do have siblings! I have 3. There's my oldest sister Tamara, but we call her Toma, she's in Group 6, there's Lyudmila, who we call Mila, she's in Group 5 I think, but I don't really like her at all...and then there's Rolan, he's 5, and he's my little brother, and I'm kind of protective over him, I don't know if he's going to this school yet though."

"My siblings don't look much like me except for Mila, so you may have a hard time finding them if you tried. But, enough about me, what about you? Do you have any siblings, or are you an only child, An?" Roksana added, using the nickname that Angelique- no- An had wanted her to use. She sometimes wished that she only had Toma and Rolan- Mila, she could definitely do without, she and her pink-streaked hair and talk of saving the environment.

Oh, Roksana was so gonna prank her the next she saw Mila. But already, she missed her parents and Rolan and the manor- at least she had Toma, though. "Why, of course you can call me Roksi! I don't have a lot of nicknames anyway, so that will make for a nice change," Roksana said, putting her hands on her hips and grinning.

"Oh, and one more thing I forgot to ask- do you do any sports? I'm doing broom racing, I think it's fun, mostly because it's extremely deadly," Roksana added. Oh, if Babushka could see her now. Mama would be proud, but Babushka would not. She could be concerning like that. Roksana secretly hoped that An was in the same sport as her, maybe they could get the chance to know each other a little better maybe?

When Roksana asked about her status, Angelique blushed slightly. She wondered if Roksana would be one of those who were prejudiced against muggle-borns...yet she seemed so pleasent! "I'm a Half-Blood, muggle mother but magic father. But both are magical to me," She said fondly, " What about you?" Angelique paused and listened to her exclaim about the time she went to school. "Well, my father was very insistant that I get a good magical education. It really was just fun, you know, like a playgroup really." She said, as her mind began to get littered with so many fond memories of her childhood. It was lucky that she had been allowed to go to Koldovstoretz, for she could have easily have gone to the French school Beauxbatons. But luckily Mother steered father away from the thought; attending a school in another country was simply scary to put it mildly. "You actually have them?" Angelique exclaimed, her dying wish seemed to ping her memory even more, "I've always wished I had them. It made me so jelous to see...even my best friend arm in arm with her little sibling, looking so alike!" She said, but blushed again. She shouldn't have said it; but it was such a memory that she had that always reigned her mouth and brain.

Half-blood, huh? Roksana's Babushka wasn't very fond of half-bloods, to put it nicely. But then again, Babushka wasn't very fond of too many people anyway. Roksana was a little nervous that if she told An that she was a pureblood then she'd automatically assume that she was one of those snobbish, prejudiced half-bloods. But it didn't seem likely, since An seemed so kind and great to talk to, so what was the need to feel worried?

"I'm a pureblood. My whole family's pureblood, I think...from way up north, of course, next-door neighbors to Sweden." Should she have added that she wasn't prejudiced? Probably not. What if that was already obvious? Besides, wouldn't saying that make her come off as pretentious? Oh, wait; she already kind of was...

Roksana smiled. "My only playgroup was at home, mostly evading capture from the forces of evil that were less than half of my family," she said, feeling a little bad for taking it out on Mila, since Mila wasn't exactly evil, but she was definitely a force of evil. There should be a noticeable difference. "But, I'm glad I'm at Koldovstoretz now, because I almost ended up at Durmstrang. That wouldn't be bad, but..."

It simply wouldn't feel right. Plus, Roksana wasn't sure if she would get to meet halfbloods, muggleborns, wizard-borns, and purebloods alike, all in the same room, at Durmstrang. Roksana turned her attention back to An. "Yes, I have siblings. I often don't wish I had them, but the thought of not having them scares me. I guess I'm stuck with them now, even here..."

...But, was that such a bad thing? Roksana was certainly not used to being away from home for this long, and already she was starting to get homesick. "So...are you ready? To be honest, I'm a little scared, but also excited, learning magic and-" Roksana had nearly said "and making new friends", but something stopped her. She wasn't sure why, though, but along with An, she would make the most out of her 1st year.

And maybe with a new friend, too.
