Tea Sampling
Daphne remained quiet for the most part, just drinking her tea as she silently watched everyone converse. She began to think about Halloween and if she was allowed to wear a costume here. She was a month into Hogwarts and her grades were pretty good so far, the people here too! Daphne loved her dorm and was satisfied with her house, to her happiness her parents were too. Well, they pretty much expected it. Over time, Daphne's tongue felt rather numb from how much tea she was drinking, the flavors blending in her mouth. At this point she was pretty full, deciding to refrain from taking too many pastries so that she'd be able to enjoy Hogwarts dinner which would later in the evening. Daphne started to think about whom she met so far, about the people she met before Hogwarts such as Ciel Saskia and those that she helped on the grounds like Sophie Verlice.
She was happy, a smile spreading across her face while her fingers drummed against her empty tea cup. When she looked back up from her finished drink, she saw Kim leaving with Bailey following right behind. Daphne smiled from the sight, she hoped that one day she'd have a best friend too. But it was pretty hard when she wasn't nearly as confident as Bailey; now that she thought about it she sort of saw Bailey and Kim as Queen and King material. If they wanted to she believed that they could 'take over' Hogwarts and rule over all students.
"Hmm.." After they were out of her line of sight, she gathered her things, thanking Sirin and waving goodbye to other members before heading back to the Hufflepuff common room.
While she didn't know it now, she'd meet her first crush there...
