CL Archery club meeting

Kayla, seeing Gavin's reaction, smiled and laughed a bit herself. She walked over to where he was sitting and plopped down next to him, before answering his question.
"Honestly, didn't know I did archery either," she shrugged. She crossed her long legs and put her bow down in front of her, fiddling with the single string before speaking again. "You do archery?" She added. She kind of figured Gavin was a fellow outdoorsy kind of person when she found him in that tree, so seeing him at the meeting didn't surprise her too much.

As she turned her attention to Bailey, she listened to her instruction and nodded. Kayla always liked Bailey, she looked up to the Ravenclaw, even though they didn't know each other too well. Bailey was a really nice and radiated so much positive energy, anyone that didn't like the older Ravenclaw was either crazy or...crazy.

Another girl spoke up and Kayla didn't regonise her. The girl asked about the security protocol. Kayla looked at Bailey, expecting her or Kim to answer. But the answer came from next to her, she looked over as Gavin spoke up, explaining to the other girl about safety, some more safety and even more safety. Safety must've been a major thing in archery, it was a fun- yet dangerous- sport. Gavin seemed to wince as soon as he said that. Kayla looked over at him and gave him a thumbs up. She didn't have questions herself, so she was just going to go with the flow. That was kind of Kayla's rhythm, either you know something or you just wing it.

Thorne did not seem to enjoy being scolded, but who would? She did listen to bailey, which she appreciated.
Everyone gathered around Bailey, even Kim.
One girl, Pandora, raised her hand. Bailey pointed to her, indicating that she could speak. She asked what a security protocol was.
“I just mean general safety rules, so that no one gets hurt or injured in any way.”
Another boy, Gavin, also spoke up and explained it much better than Bailey had.
“Thank you Gavin. That’s exactly why we need to discuss these safety protocols and such!”
Bailey smiled at Kim and Puffie, which helped to settle the nerves she had.
sheesh apparently weapons, plus questioning younger years and elder knowledgeable years.. this is what makes me nervous
Bailey looked at the crowed, and people were nodding along, and Bailey smiled at the many familiar faces she saw. Bailey spotted Kayla, and grinned at the younger hufflepuff.
Speaking up again, Bailey said “Now that most people have had an opportunity to eat some, and we have reviews the rules, I am going to divide you. If you would say you are a 7 or above, out of ten, on archery skills, please go stand by that tree.” Bailey indicated a tree over to the right.
Bailey continued “If you would say you are a 3 to a 6 please go stand over by Kim for now.” Bailey pointed out her best friend, using him as a marker.
“And lastly, if you are a complete beginner, or need a refresher, please gather by me!”
With that, Bailey took a step back, giving people a little space to move around.
Remembering one last thing, Bailey spoke up again, saying “And if you have any questions please come ask me, or Kim if I am not available!”

Of all the things Hades could have hoped for at Hogwarts, he did not expect there to be a club that focused on archery, something he was very excited about. Since he was ten, he’s been training archery. What made him nervous was that he would be in a group of people, especially if most of them used to be first year students. That made Hades feel out of place, not just because of his age or the year he was in, but because of his height. His height stood out considerably,

compared to the others, the students looked like minions. No, the best reference was that he looked like an adult. He had grown up since the summer. More than half of the clothes he had before would no longer fit and had to be modified. Once he had prepared everything, Hades set out to pick up his bow with the arrows resting on the wall, beside his bed, and he left the room.

It did not take long to get to the place where the club had met. Upon arriving, Hades was able to recognize two people, his friend Damion and Kim. Whose people he had met in the previous year, before everything went to hell. He realized he was not going to start throwing arrows, but made sure to hide his disappointment and drew a smile, listening as everyone did the instructions. As soon as it was his turn, he didn’t even bother to get up “My name is Hades Schweighöfer, I’m a proud badger from the Hufflepuff house and few will know I’m in the fourth year.” he said, introducing himself. Then something caught his eye: a girl.

Apparently the girl had tried to start right after arriving, something Hades could understand that he had liked to do the same, but seeing that she was scolded by who seemed to be the president of the club, the badger decided not to do anything about it. He took out his box of macarons and started eating two of them, not before approaching where Damion was “Do you want?” he asked smiling. After a few minutes, Bailey began to separate the members by groups. Judging by his level, Hades was at least a five, so he walked to where Kim was “I guess giraffes stick together.” he said while laughing. He kept waiting for everyone to go in their corresponding groups.
