Dear Quill pal,
Hello!! We had different Quill Pals assigned today- and I got you! I guess we have to start off with introductions? My name's Kayla Realma, I recently turned twelve (I'm a December baby) and my favourite colours are purple and yellow! What are yours? Purple and yellow look good together to a certain extent, you just need to get the right shades. I have a purple and yellow bag, but I don't use it much.
What're your hobbies? I like painting, its one of my favourite things to do. Painting, running and swimming. I used to be the athlete of my school, I always chose to do long distance running during the competitions, but I just did it for the thrill and because it was fun. Definitely not for all those shiny medals hanging in my Wadrobe. I also just started gymnastics, do you like any form of dance?

I am excited that we got assigned as quill pals! I am Magdaline Pritchett, but you can call me Mags or Maggie. I am a November baby, and my favorite colours are purple and black. Black looks good with just about anything, and purple looks cool. I love to read, draw and write! I want to become an author one day, just like my sis Rosaline, who I've always called Rose or Rosie.
I feel like she has a lot more time to write books than I'll have since she's a squib and doesn't have any magical duties to occupy her day. I'm sure I'll find a way to squeeze in a few hours a day to write without sacrificing academic time. As for dancing, I'm not very good at it at all, but I think the 80s disco dances were pretty cool.

It's great to meet you, Maggie! Ooh, you like purple too? That's awesome! Being an author sounds cool. I haven't really decided on what I want to be yet, but I've set my heart on painting for the time being. I don't really know whether or not I want a magical career. I'm a half blood but I grew up in the muggle side, but my older brothers in auror training so I might follow in his footsteps.
What's a squib? I feel like I've heard the term before, but I'm not too sure. I'm sure you'll be able to squeeze in a little writing time. I know the overload on homework is way too much, but as long as you can manage homework, its pretty easy. I'm not too good, either, so we're on the same boat (or in the same castle) when it comes to dancing. By the way, how many siblings do you have?
