Food Coloring and Hufflepuffs Closed Prank on Aurora Griffith

It was Saturday. I didn't have class, tomorrow was Spring Break, and I was going home to see my family in Folkestone, England. This lifted my spirits a whole lot, and t gave me a little spring in my step. Hopping, skipping, and jumping down the corridors, I felt like I was walking on sunshine. I was wearing a nice white blouse today, one of my favorites, and hopefully, I didn't get it messed up.

My stride slowed down the further I went down the corridors. I looked at the knights in their shining armor and took in a deep breath. The effect of my walk on air was now fading slowly, and I had to remind myself that Spring Break couldn't last forever. Just as I was coming up down the corridor, I thought I felt something.

I froze in place. Was that a booby trap I just set off? I slowly looked up to see a bucket hanging precariously from a rafter. I opened my mouth to say something, to scream, anything, but it was too late. The bucket tipped, and dark but colorful liquid sloshed out, spilling all over me as I ducked down. I shouldn't have worn white today. It didn't taste like paint or anything...

I looked around, then let out an angry scream. Whoever did this... it actually was a pretty clever prank, but It was still frustrating. I started looking around for whoever had done it.

Azzy wheezed, falling from behind the fire brazier they were hiding behind. They couldn't breathe due to how hard they were laughing, Azzy was crying at this point! But the Hufflepuff girls reaction was priceless! They laughed for a good five minutes before finally recovering. Azzy slowly got up, gasping for air. As they looked at the Hufflepuff, the amusement quickly turned to guilt seeing the freshly ruined white blouse. "I am... SO sorry!" They said quickly. "If it's any consolation- It comes out with bleach, dishliquid, and normal detergent. Again I am so sorry!" They ran to get the instructions and to grab the paper towels and cleaner they had to clean up the mess they'd made, if they were pulling a prank they wanted to be the one to clean up the mess so that the nice janitor didn't have to. They walked back and handed the Hufflepuff the instructions. "If you'd like you can prank me back. I feel so bad for ruining your shirt! I promise it does come out! I deluded the food coloring with water so it would!" Azzy felt so bad right now, they stooped down and started cleaning up what hadn't hit their poor Hufflepuff victim.

At the moment, I was searching for the diabolical prankster. Okay, maybe not diabolical but you know what I mean. To be honest, it was a pretty good prank. And I knew that the prankster had to be around here somewhere, otherwise what's the point if you're not even gonna watch it? And then I heard laughter...I knew I had found who I was looking for.

The kid was still laughing. I saw them now, were they hiding behind one of the pillars? They had lots of piercings and black and white dyed hair. They looked like a first year. They kept apologizing for the prank, and I realized that the stuff that I was soaked in was food coloring. Ugh! I stalked right up to the prankster and said a bit savagely, "That was actually a very clever prank, but I'll get you back, just you wait."

Problem is that as I was saying this, I was smiling. I couldn't tell if it was a savage smile or a not-so-savage smile, but did it really matter? As I bent down to help the kid with cleaning up the mess, I said in a more conversational tone, "What's your name, anyway? I don't think I've seen you around. I'm Aurora, Aurora Griffith, 1st year Hufflepuff. Lots of people call me Ro or something else."

Well, this took a turn. However, as I was talking, I was thinking about which next prank to use as revenge, though it needed to be good and creative. Hmm...I didn't know yet. But after Spring Break, I'm sure I would've come up with something.

Azzy smiled. "Oh I know your name. I'm Azrael Faire. But most everyone calls me Azzy, you can too if you'd like. And I look forward to seeing what you have planned for me!" Azzy said, standing up with the color-soaked paper towels. You'd be surprised at how well muggle items work. "But. As much as I would LOVE to stay and chat with you, I have alot more pranks to pull. I advise against sitting at the Hufflepuff table tonight. And don't warn anyone else please. I'll pay for sweets from Hogsmead if you comply. Anyways! Bye!" Azzy quickly packed up their stuff and ran off, leaving Aurora to her thoughts. They needed to plan their next prank. And this one would be better. This time they were thinking glitter, hopefully the poor Hufflepuff didn't fall prey to one of Azzy's traps again. That would suck. But they did have one target they would love to get before said persons birthday! And they would make it count. It was a good thing they had edible glitter and paper. This would be one of the best pranks Azzy had ever pulled on someone and it would be absolutely breath taking. One of their best pranks yet. Glitter slime.
