Fallen dove &. Rescue
Cicely
Walking across the courtyard, Cicely tugged her too-big robes a bit higher, hoping not to trip on them, before racing down the steps, towards the wet grass below. With a small sigh, she stopped in the middle, water soaking into her socks. She didn’t mind. There was so much going on at the school, too much people. It was good to get away from the school sometimes. She looked around the courtyard. Seemed … empty. She walked over to a bench, it’s legs rusted and its painted flaked. She took her seat, ignoring the cold surface and sighed, a wisp of steam escaping her mouth. Her eyes danced with amusement and she opened her mouth again, and for a long time, watching the steam fade into the air.
The sound of frantic flapping caused her to lift her head up, to see a bird, light grey and pure, flapping against the tree trunk, obviously unable to fly. She immediately got to her feet, and approached it. It stopped for a second, breathing fast and its head turned to her. She crouched down til she was the same level as the bird and gave a little whistle. The dove’s head shot up and it started to try to flap its wings. Then Cicely scooped it up, nestling it within her thick robes. She looked at it, eyes wide. What would she do with this bird now?

Ying was sitting on the stone railing of the arched balcony. She was enjoying the fresh air coming from outside while reading one of her favorite fantasy books. That book used to make her dream about fairy tales and how her life would be amazing if only she was one of those fierce and powerful characters. She dreamed of magic and adventure long before she knew that she was a witch and that one day she would become one of those magical beings walking on the earth with such wonderful abilities.
Her book was resting open on her lap, she was no longer reading it, instead she was looking at the light grey sky and her mind was lost in her thoughts. She was daydreaming with a day where she would be racing on her broom through difficult obstacles and evading spells coming her way. Ho would be nice if one day she got to the broom racing team, those races seem so challenging and full with exciting adrenaline. She always had prioritize becoming a duelist, mainly to defy her brother on his field, but she had to admit that one day her curiosity would bring her to walk through other paths.
Was when she was about to return to her reading when she heard the sound of quick footsteps coming down the stairs to the courtyard. She saw, while a dark-haired girl made her run towards the wet grass below. A grin made its way across Ying's delicate features when she saw the other girl, she immediately felt the need to come down and join her. And with that will in her mind, she closed her book and walked through the corridor heading the same stairs the other girl had ran through.
Making her first steps into the courtyard, Ying realized that the other girl was now crouched down close to one of the trees. Ying walked towards her to see what was going on, "Hey!" She greeted cheerfully, "Is everything okay? what..." But she stopped in the middle of her question when she realized the other Gryffindor was holding a little dove protecting him with her robes. "The dove is alright? Or injured?" Ying asked, concern wrapped around her words when she saw the little creature's eyes looking at her. "I'm sorry, I didn't introduced myself..." she apologized when remembering her good manners, "I'm Hui-Ying! Should we bring him to Mr. Frogge?" She asked thinking that maybe they could bring the dove to the hospital wing, probably nurse Polonius would know what to do with the poor beautiful creature.
