A day with the Demiguise and Clabberts
Near was especially nervous, today of all days. It was a weekend, of course, and today he had invited his best friend, Azreal White, on a small get-together in London, his hometown. Of course, Londoon always made him...rather nervous...but if he was with Snow, then everything ought to be alright in the end.
He freezes slightly, as a shimmering catches in the corner of his eye, and his breath catches. I-...I can't believe it...a Demiguise....this close to the city- to the park- um- what did Scamander say? Hold still, no loud noises. Let it get closer. He freezes, his red eyes glancing around, and he suddenly feels a furry sensation on his shoulder, and it...it appeared. wow.....it's...it's gorgeous.....Snow would- They would love this....
He decided to hang out with his new, furry friend as he waited for his old one, offering it a sandwich to nibble as they waited. He hoped Azreal would be alright with a third party, he chuckles nervously.

A day with the Demiguise and Clabberts
I've arrived a few minutes late to my hangout with Near but I stopped in my tracks, is that Near with a no...it couldn't be a Demiguise. If this is a dream no one wake me up.
Slowly but surely I made my way to Near. "Is this real or a hallucination mon petit lapin? Tell me you really found a Demiguise.", I said my voice barely above a whisper but I know he heard me.
The Demiguise looks at me with its big eyes almost like it's judging me, I made no sudden moments as I look at Near. Well he looks calmer than I expected after meeting a creature people have tried to track down for centuries, I wonder if it's male or female I can't really tell with the long fur.
What a shock, a first year found such a rare creature when some adults could only dream of doing such a thing. My parents would lose their heads if they knew about about this.
Girls wish they could have the Demiguise's silky hair, I personally could care less about my appearance. Sometimes I wish I was a Demiguise free to roam with the ability to make myself invisible.

His smile was as bright as the sun, when he waved his best friend over. "Isn't this amazing....they're so pure and beautiful- this is literally my dream...." he smiled softly once more. He needed to document this....he had his sketchbook....but he would rather draw Snow and the Demiguise instead. They look even prettier than normal....and the light just helps bring out their loveliness.....Snow, you are like a beautiful Dragon, stunning, yet so powerful and majestic. I am so happy to share this discovery with you.
He smiled again at her, as the Demiguise tilted it's head curiously at the newcomer. "This is Snow, They are very kind and will not hurt you, my friend." his voice was soft, even at it's normal volume. He then turned to Azreal, beaming. "I am so happy you came, I always enjoy your company.." his heart fluttered slightly, as he gave the Demiuise another sandwich, offering one to Azreal. "It would be rude not to ask you to join us..?" he tilted his head, a half-grin on his face. Just him, Snow, and the Demiguise, enjoying a beautiful, clear day. He could never be happier.
He continued looking at her, in that Rabbit-like way he always did, softly motioning for her to join them. "Don't worry, I don't think we can scare it away. They seem to appreciate my hair.." he was partly joking, a soft giggle escaping as the creature picked up a few strands of his hair. It was truly beautiful, just like Azreal. I am just surrounded by beauty.....what a blessing.

A day with the Demiguise and Clabberts
As I took the sandwich from Near I sat down careful to not alarm the Demiguise, "He's handsome and has a brain? Near, he is you as a Magical creature." When the Demiguise moved some of Near's hair out of his face I caught a glimpse of Near's intelligent red eyes.
They had that spark the one he had when he talking about nifflers, those same eyes comforted me when I asked him were my looks the only good thing about me.
"Why do people make it seem-" Before I was able to finish my sentence I caught the glimpse of a skeletal wing behind Near, but that's impossible it must've been a trick of the light. I just decided to continue my sentence.
"Why do people make it seem like a bad thing when a child grows up too fast, maybe something forced them to grow up fast like negligent parents or......witnessing something traumatic.", On the last three words my voice was lower than a whisper but loud enough for Near and the Demiguise to look at me in confusion.
My happy mood turned somber contrasting with the sunny day, I haven't thought about her in a long time and I don't intend to bring up more unhappy memories.
