Hello. I am not yet available to take a class yet. However, I was wondering if this class is mandatory for first year or not.

So first of all, no classes are mandatory, out of character all of them are optional and open up after 10 days, once you have 20 posts.

In character as a first year you would have Charms, Potions, Tranfiguration, Herbology, Defense against the Dark Arts, History, Astronomy and Flying Class.

Hello! For the second 1st year herbology lesson, "Fire which enlightens", do I have to go to the Harry Potter Wiki website to answer question 2?

I just need clarity on this I am failing to understand what it means and what it needs. Thanks in advance.

Another way the question could be worded is "What do you need to do to the bulb before adding it into the potion?" If that helps.
