The last round seemed to move in slow motion. Elsa breaking from her body bind. Ivy landing a spell on Logan. Logan reciprocating and knocking her down. Dori's wand backfiring and sending them backwards from the hit. Ivy was down. Logan and Dori were standing. Both of them were conscious. The duel had ended. "We- we won?"
Two years. It had been two years since they had won a duel.
With eyes full of tears and joy they wrapped Logan in a gentle hug, trying to avoid injuring her further. "We did it! Logan, we did it!" After releasing Logan, Dori bolted into the stands to find one person in particular who had been at every duel since they joined the team.
