Damion waited for them to come on the stage. "Wands at ready duelers." He said. "Bow before you throw spells at each other. And good luck to you both." Damion said. He then moved to the side hoping that this was enough for the duel. He didn't want to be in middle of the spells that were going to be cast.

It was a few hours before the Archery Club meeting that they will attend later on during the day but first, they need to showcase their spell-casting ability first. Dress in Marron long-sleeve turtleneck, slim-fitted black pants, and maroon winter boots with fur around their ankles was Cash's outfit for today after class had been dismissed for the day.
To cover some part of their shoulder-length hair, sitting a black beanie on top of their head. To complete the look, Cash wore a golden brown winter trench coat. Their trusted aspen wand was held in Cash's left hand. Once they deemed themselves appropriate enough, they directly marched into the Duelling Club.
The thing about Duelling Club is like a magnet to them. Cash had sworn that they never set foot in the room again and yet here they are, contradicting to what they had said to themselves post to Henry leaving Hogwarts and leaving them. During the unofficial Duelling Club matches, the green eyes had their fair share of being one of the ones that oversees the duel.
But today it was time for them to take their stand on the platform. Cash was waiting for Damion - a fellow Quidditch player - to announce Cash and their opponent's names. Once both Cash and Schweighöfer take on each side of the stage respectively, Cash would listen to the other instruction that White will say to both of the Duellists for the day.
When White ordered both Cash and Schweighöfer to bow at each other, Cash let out a taunting smirk. "Give me your best shot, Schweighöfer, I dare you"They uttered as they prepared themselves by putting out their Duelling stance that Henry once told them how to as their left hand poised in front of them. Wand ready to fire at Schweighöfer. Let's the gate of hell open!.

Cash vs Hades
Cash cast Slugulus Eructo at Hades
Wisdom DC: 11
Wisdom Check: [d20 : 13] + 7 = 20 → Success
Accuracy: [d20 : 19] + 10 = 29
Evasion: [d20 : 18] + 7 = 25
29 > 25 → Hit!
Duration: [d6 : 4] 2 rounds (1d6, 1-3: 1 round, 4-5: 2 rounds, 6: 3 rounds)
Effect: –3 Strength and –2 Arcane Power and loses 50 HP per round. Repeated hit will not increase the debuff, but will update the duration if it's longer.
As the duel began, Kim let his eyes flicker over the two opponents. He knew both of them, although Cash was more familiar to him than Hades was. After all, he'd only seen Hades around with Damion. Kim hadn't actually met the boy himself on his own. Not yet at least. It was bound to be an interesting match because both Cash and Hades were fourth years. Kim wondered if the two knew eachother. As the two members made their way up onto the piste, he let his eyes flicker over both. Cash seemed ready to start and looked quite in control. But Hades seemed a little bit off.
"Let's have a good match, guys!" Kim said as he raised his hand into the air and brought it down with a flourish. "Duel, start!" He exclaimed, giving the order for the match to begin and stepped back to watch what happened next. What spells would the two decide to use and would they hit their target or not? Cash took the lead and used her wand to trace the movements of a non-delicious type of spell, the Slug-Vomiting Charm. A jet of green light came out of the end of her wand and shot towards her target. Despite seeming a bit off, Hades appeared to sense the danger.
He quickly reacted to dodge the incoming spell but wasn't quite fast enough and got hit by Cash's spell. It was only when it hit him that he realized what it was as he started to vomit up slugs. Poor thing. Kim shook his head as he continued to watch the match. Unfortunately, it seemed as if Hades had been a little behind with his own actions. He hadn't tried to cast a spell on Cash this round, whatever the reason might be. Nerves maybe? Or perhaps he'd been distracted? "Cash made the first hit! Will Hades strike them back in the next round?" Kim contemplated.
What would the next round bring for them?

Duels were something he had always found interesting, but also a little intimidating because sometimes people could be quite rough and had some effect on spells, impacting their targets in a way that made an impression. But he had decided to be involved in the unofficial dueling club where he could practice a little. Another reason that had helped him cheer up was that Damion was there, and that had inspired confidence. He was already here, so what could lose Hades by trying?
At worst, he would end up getting punched in the ass. He observed Damion that if Hades wasn’t wrong, he was the one who had organized it. He nodded as soon as his friend mentioned his name “A pleasure Cassandra to meet you.” he said with a smile. The wands ready. He bowed before the duel began. But the first attempt was not as he had hoped. He had been distracted though not enough to try to dodge Cassandra’s spell. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it and got hit by the spell.
The effect of being hit by the spell was horrible, because he started throwing up slugs. That was horrible and there was nothing he wanted to stop. It was in front of Damion and Kim, and it was embarrassing. And it turned shame into intimidation. He decided that Cassandra would deserve to be paid in the same way “Don’t start thinking you’re gonna be able to beat me.” commented with a smug smile, still vomiting. At least he was ready for the next.

At first, Cash thought the one that will oversee their inofficial Duelling match with Schweighöfer was Damion White but it changed to Kim Sato, It did not matter whether it was White or Sato who will be the judge and jury for this unofficial duelling. Cash had one thing in mind which brings hell down upon Schweighöfer.
It was not Cash who had a certain vendetta against the other fourth-year. No. Cash just wanna bring hell to him just because. And besides, the perks of every either official or non-official Duelling, you can hurt the other party without getting into detention or trouble. Cash is a Prefect and if they did land themselves in detention, the green eyes will never hear the end from their mother.
As the go signal had been given by Sato, Cash's green eyes zeroed in on Schweighöfer. With a flourish and almost perfect for both incantation and then wand movement for the Slug-Vomitting spell, Cash had sent the curse at the Hufflepuff boy. He was too stunned to eveb move and when Schweighöfer started vomiting slugs, Cash barked out a laugh.
It was so typical Slytherin of them. Laughing at other misfortune. But Cash always wanted to cast the spell and now at today's match, they had the chance that they had been waiting for, for so long "Hope you enjoy puking slugs out of your guts, mate!"Cash taunted the Duellist. “Don’t start thinking you’re gonna be able to beat me.”He commented with a smug smile on his face.
Cash tried to suppress their smile. The smack-talk between them and Schweighöfer excited the Cuban descendant. "The night still young, oh young one!"The Beater tried to mimic how Yoda talked to Luke Skywalker. "I can do this all night. Bring it on!"Cash uttered as they pointed their wand as they were ready for the next round to come.

Cash vs Hades
Cash casts Obscuro at Hades

Kim watched as the two duelists began to trade 'insults' at eachother. It was typical dueling intimidation talk, designed to unsettle the mind and make it hard for your opponents to focus on casting their spells. Sometimes it worked and other times it didn't, it depended upon who you were up against and what their current state of mind was. After a few seconds, both opponents began to focus on their spells and strategies. Soon, spells were flying again.
Hades took it upon himself to cast the Dancing-Feet Spell at Cash, while Cash was busy trying to cast a spell of their own at the same time. Hades managed to get his spell off without a hitch. It was obvious he knew the spell quite well as he easily cast it without any sign of wasted movement. It was a beautiful cast and Kim admired it for a few seconds as he watched it head towards Hades's opponent. Unfortunately, Cash was a little late to respond to Hades's spell because they were trying to get their own spell off. They saw it coming at them at the last second and tried to dodge.
But it still managed to nick them and suddenly Cash's feet started to move and their legs followed suit, making it hard for them to actually stand still and focus on casting any spells of their own. Earlier, Cash had decided to cast the Blindfolding Spell on Hades. But for some reason, they were having trouble getting the spell to even come out of their wand in the first place. Perhaps the reason for this might have been overconfidence from the first round? Now with the Dancing-Feet Spell on them, it would be impossible to finish trying to cast it but Cash did their best to do so.
However, unsurprisingly, it ended in failure. Cash's legs and feet continued to do a saucy version of a salsa dance.
What would the next round bring to the table? Would Cash strike back? Would Hades continue his onslaught of spells? Would both hit eachother? This was a duel, Kim was quite interested in learning about the outcome.

It would become commonplace for him to always try to show his confidence in duels. It was like some kind of ritual that would help him feel a little more confident. Duels were certainly something he had always seen interested in, but he had the feeling that sometimes they could be quite brutal, depending on what kind of rivals. That had made him think as they would Durmstrang, since undoubtedly the students there would be most implacable. He asked himself if hexes were allowed there.
The first to cast the spell was Hades, and to his surprise, it had an effect on hitting Cassandra. It was what he had intended to do. He smiled smugly and took the opportunity to kindly remember the girl “As I said my dear, it will not be so easy to beat me.” commented showing the confidence that he had. Normally he was not so confident but having managed to use the spell against his rival, confidence increased. But it was only the first round, and he was still throwing up slugs because of Cass.
Hades was confused. When did Cassandra attempt to cast a spell? Perhaps he had been too busy thinking about himself and with his high ego, which had forgotten her a little. He shrugged and went for the next round, although this time he felt he was more prepared than ever. But he had to stay alert and prevent his confidence from blinding him and becoming a problem when he had to be focused to perform the spell. Was it really that hard to control emotions? Certainly could be, seeing how Cassandra was dancing.

The downside of Cash being Cash well themselves. Cash always takes pride in everything that they do. Whether it was a scholastic degree or the sports they were in. This 1v1 Duelling was not different than any official Quidditch match that they ever played. Sure, the size of the room was different than the actual Duelling match.
It only consisted of Kim and Schweighöfer. Three people were in the room if they counted themselves. The pressure was not that big compared to the official one. But still, it did not mean Cash would just be laid back and not take this as seriously as the actual game. Cash raised their wand and spelled out the incantation and do the wand movement for the Blindfolded spell but nothing came out from the tip of their wand.
The idea of Schweighöfer puking while being blindfolded is both entertaining and a bit vile. But hey, the sorting hat put Cash in the right house. If other Duellists or aspired Duellists failed to casted their spell, they would be frustrated. But it was not the case for the young Ironwoods. From the time Henry taught him how to do Duelling the correct way up to the last match they had ever been on, Cash knew spells could fail from time to time.
Still, deep in their heart, they wanted to see Schweighöfer puking those slugs out while being blindfolded. But alas, what they wished for did not happen this round. Since Cash was too busy examining where did they do wrong, Cash did not realize that Schweighöfer had pointed his wand toward the green eyes.
And when the jet of light came out from his wand, Cash was a bit tad too late to evade the attack. And thus, their feet started to move in those salsa steps that Cash knew too well thanks to their mother's Cuban heritage. Cash let out a smirk while their feet still dancing. "As I said, my dear, it will not be so easy to beat me," The fourth-year Badger said with confidence to the Serpent.
"And as I said," Cash uttered while parroting Schweighöfer with a mocking tone. "The night is still young," They added. "Anything can happen in the next 10 rounds," The Cloud Cobras' Beater stated some more Though Cash was big on their mind game to affect the psyche of their opponent, Cash really hope their choice of spell for the next round did not fail them like this round.
"Do your worst, Schweighöfer," Cash said with a challenge and ready to shoot their spell for the next round.

Kim continued to watch the duel take place before his eyes. Both participants were doing fairly well against eachother. Unlike many, the teen wasn't really the type to shout things out or comment on anything while a duel was going on. Kim was much more interested in observing things. To see if he could take away anything and use it in his own duels in the future. Of course, if something unexpected happened he might make a comment but in general he preferred to merely observe. A flash of brilliant blue light shot out of the end of Hades's wand and straight towards his opponent, Cash. It had been pretty fast, fast enough Cash almost didn't even see it coming! They tried to evade.
It was a comical sight, Cash doing a saucy salsa dance while attempting to avoid getting hit by the spell.
But it was too late by that point in time and Cash got hit by Hades's Flipendo, a pretty decent strike by the Hufflepuff. At the same time, Cash themselves ended up casting the exact same spell back at Hades. Kim actually wondered if that brilliant blue light from before had actually been from both wands at the same time. It had been really bright for just one spell. Could the two have met in the middle and just barely missed eachother, making it seem as if it had only been one spell at the time? Poor Hades got struck almost at the same time as Cash did, both of them by the exact same spell cast by their opponent. Unfortunately, for Hades it had a slightly worse effect for him.
Even though he probably would have been able to dodge Cash's spell, Hades's stomach chose that moment to start barfing up some more slugs. Now, when you begin to vomit, you really can't stop until the stuff inside comes up and out of your system. So, Hades wasn't able to do much of anything other than vomit the slugs up as Cash's spell, the same one he'd cast at them earlier, struck him. It made him stumble back a few paces and probably wasn't that good for the stomach. It almost knocked him off his feet but he managed to regain his balance at the last second and stood his ground before his lone opponent on the other side. "You alright there, Hades?" Kim called out, just in case.
Vomiting was no fun and he was just glad no one had ever cast that spell on him yet.
It seemed as if Cash's legs were starting to slow down though, by the next round he guessed the effect would probably wear off for them. Hopefully, they weren't too tired from going through the exercise.

Hades vs Cassandra

| ──────────────────── |
|
──────────────────── |
Was this a duel or a kind of showing off who was the best? Because that was what Hades felt at this very moment. His confidence level was so strong that it was hard to ignore it. It seemed that his whole presence in itself was perspiring with high confidence. Hades casted the Flipendo so quickly that seeing that Cassandra was unable to dodge it because they were still dancing with the Tarantallegra. But something did happen... Cash was able to cast the same spell he did and hit the badger, too.
Vomiting slugs was horrible, and he was living it in his own flesh. How did he keep throwing up “How long does this spell usually last?” he asked sulking, thinking they might deserve to suffer the same or worse. If he kept throwing up another round, he would likely end up so furious that instead of casting a spell, he would end up casting several at a time of anger and frustration. But he wasn’t supposed to. So he focused on regaining his composure and making an overview of his advances with the duel.
That made him pucker his lips, but he felt Cash’s spell was slightly stronger, which was definitely a surprise. But now they were both on boards. He sighed and looked at them “If I win, you’ll invite me to a bubble tea, but if you win, I’ll invite you to one. What do you think?” asked Hades as a suggestion. That was probably an excellent motivation. Now he was ready for the next round. He tilted his head and looked at Kim “I’m fine. Just more motivated. Nothing to worry about.” he replied smiling.
