a walk to calm my mine… and get some jitters out. I dunno why.. Bailey thought.
Out loud she continued “I dunno why I’ve been so jittery, I am going to go on a walk- I’ll be back later girls!” Bailey called out to her dorm mates. If they were there, they’d hear. If not, Bailey was just addressing her cat, Twinkle.
Making her way outside, Bailey made sure her red and gold earrings were not going to fall out. They were some of her favorite, and she didn’t usually wear them. Bailey usually stuck with wearing neutral colors or blue for Ravenclaw.
In her read sweater, black pants and gold and red jewelry, Bailey could easily get pegged as a Gryffindor.
haha it would be fun if Kim and I were in the same house Bailey though, as she exited the castle.
Now outside, Bailey smiled as the sun shone on her face, and a breeze blew through her hair. On the breeze a beautiful melody was carried, from a violin it sounded like.
Curious, Bailey went to investigate.
Approaching the sound, Bailey found a boy, one she recognized, practicing the violin. Bailey approached and sat down, holding a book cracked open on her lap.
She would smile her greeting, and if the boy paused his playing, Bailey would say “Hey Oliver! Your playing is beautiful!”

ReducioLocation : Hogwarts GroundsWord Count : 239 WordsOliver had to get his head straight. Learning Korean was stressing him out, till the point he had a mental breakdown in his dorm room. He knew he needed to do something about it. What better way than to relax right? He thought about painting, but to his surprise, he didn't feel like painting. That was odd, he always felt like painting! Never mind, he thought. He would just play his blue violin. So, he grabbed his violin, and left his dorm and headed straight for the Grounds. Once he arrived, he sat, somewhat near to the forest, he sat on a medium sized rock right beside a tree. Then after a few minutes, he pulled out violin, and started playing the song left and right, on his violin, it was one of his favorite songs. Nearing the end, a girl approached, at first he didn't recognize her, only that she was older than him, then he realized that it was Bailey Glade, the head of the Archery Club. She commented on how his playing was beautiful. He blushed, and he said "Well it isn't that good! Its- meh, if you get what I mean". He didn't usually show off playing the violin, he liked playing it alone, and rarely played with others. But, it wasn't like he wanted to keep it a secret. More like it was something others would need to find out if they wanted too.

la ... laaaa..laaaaa.. Bailey thought, humming the theme to the muggle movie, Sleeping Beauty. "i know you, i walked with you once upon a dream. laaa laaa laaa..." Bailey's soft singing led to humming, as she walked down the corridors, and out the doors to the outside.
Hearing some violin playing, Bailey went to investigate.
Walking up to a boy, Bailey realized that it was Oliver Brown.
She complemented his playing, and he played it down. Bailey smiled and said "i know what you mean, but it really was good. It made me smile, and i wanted to complement the wonderful person behind it!"
She smiled, and continued speaking after a moment. "I do understand what you mean, i honestly don't show many people my playing piano, or my taekwondo form. And for piano, and taekwondo as well i guess, i don't tell everyone. they're my sort of therapy, a way to let my emotions out in a way that does not have any negative consequences."
Sitting down on the ground, bailey pulled out a book.
"I hope you don't mind me listening - i don't mean to intrude, its just that i love listening to music, and the chance to do so here is quite slim."
Bailey did hope that she and Oliver would get to talk, she wanted to get to know him better.
As a plan came to mind, bailey waited till Oliver finished another song, before pulling some cookies out of her bag. Eating one, she asked "hey Oliver! Want a cookie?"

She had said to him “I wanted to compliment the wonderful person behind it!” he blushed. No one had said something like that to him, except of course his mother and father. “I’m not that good- it's mid!” He told her. After a while, she spoke about taekwondo and playing the piano. How interesting! He thought“You know taekwondo? Maybe I could learn that too haha! But I get what you mean- playing the violin is a way for me to relax and feel at ease during very stressful times.” He told her. A little while later, she pulled out a book and said “I hope you don’t mind me listening- I don’t mean to intrude, it's just that I love listening to music. And the chance to do so here is quite slim.” Oliver listened to what the fellow Ravenclaw had said. “You can check out the rehearsal room. Once in a while they have practices! And I don’t mind at all, you're already here.” He suggested to Bailey. He started playing another song on his violin, a short classic, the Addams family opening song. After he finished playing the song, Bailey offered him a cookie and asked if he wanted one. “Yeah I want a cookie! I don’t like cookies, I love them! Haha!” He said before laughing, smiling, his blue eyes seemed to be more evident when he smiled. He took the cookie and started chomping on it. Ironically, he hated chocolate, but likes cookies.

Bailey complemented oliver's playing, and the boy blushed. are people really not accustomed to being complemented? she wondered, and then she realized we really don't complement each other enough... i should do something about that to fix that. Bailey smiled kindly at Oliver, and said "well i think it was good - really good!!!" despite his insisting it was just 'mid'.
Bailey rambled on about taekwondo and piano, and Oliver seemed interested. When she stopped her rambling, he seemed interested in her doing taekwondo. perfect time to plug the MAC club she thought. "you can definatly learn! im the head of a martial artists club, and kim helps me teach. i'll send you an owl before our next meeting, so if you want to come you know when and where to go!!!"
Smiling, bailey continued "yes - music is my way of escaping real life, in a way, and in focusing on me!!"
"true - maybe i should check out the rehearsal room - im usually there about once a week at least, for club meetings or training. and thanks!!" bailey settled down, with her book. She smiled to herself as she read and oliver played. It was peaceful, the sounds of the violin soothing her and everything she seemed worried or nervous about.
After Oliver finished his song, bailey offered him a cookie. Oliver was an easy person to be around - his laugh and smile making his eyes more noticeable. "fair enough - it's hard not to love cookies. even if you don't like one type, there's another type that fits your needs. just like you can change your appearance, with makeup or hair dye, or things like that. don't you agree?" bailey said, and then asked.
Bailey had no idea that Oliver was a Metamorphagus, or that this comment might hit a little close to home...
