Something finally started to seem to go in their favour, as Elena and Zoe seemed to spot the snitch. Pax sent a bludger over to Winnie and sighed with relief when it hit (even though it missed Cecily). Meanwhile, Jay had been sent tumbling from their broom, though Pax couldn't understand why. It had been a long game, but at least things seemed to be looking up a little.

He didn't have time to react as the bludger lurched toward him. He was certain he was going to be thrown off his broom because of how hard it hit him. The blow knocked his breath from him, yet he still managed to keep up. As soon as he regained his balance, he threw a bludger back at Jorah. Nevertheless, his aim wasn't as good as Jorah's, and the bludger missed its target.

It was kind of cruel to send a bludger after someone on a penalty lap, but Cecily supposed desperate times called for desperate measures. And Gryffindor was in desperate times for sure. Ravenclaw was killing it, just as they should be. It would take more than a silly little bludger to knock the Eagles off their brooms-- the Lions would have to try harder than that.

It was really hard to spot the snitch. Edward was looking for it everywhere. He was flying around the whole pitch, up and down and left and right. But he had no luck.
In between his search, he heard and saw his house cheer and noticed they scored another 50 points. At least that was going great! He hoped for the best and prayed to finally find the snitch before the other team did.

He winced at some of the moves being played in the air. On one hand, yeah, this game could get brutal…one the other hand, he did not envy a few of those players.

At least things weren’t totally terrible though; or at least, it looked like things weren’t a lost cause yet. For one the snitch was still in play, looked like the bloody thing was giving the other teams seeker a run for their money too, so that was promising. Just keep hoping Ravenclaw didn’t find the damn thing.

Lavinia was hanging on by a string. She had been hit by two harsh bludgers and was so exhausted from the hits she took. Her vision had been fading in and out and she knew she was probably going to wake up in the hospital wing soon. Luckily Edme returned her to her broom and she was back at it, just had to take a penalty lap first before continuing her chaser duties. Her team was up on points, they could do this with or without her.
