Prayers sent

thank you all!!!

I have two reasons to ask for some prayers…
Some of you may know that I volunteer at a local animal shelter with the cats. Just a few days ago, we have a seven month year old cat be diagnosed with FIP. That is a deadly disease for cats that most of the time kills them. I am praying for his health and that he stay with us especially because he is so sweet and young. The second reason I’m asking for a prayer is for another cat that I’ve fallen in love with. Recently, he seems to be having problems with his eyesight and he already has some ear issues with hearing. I am asking for some prayers for his health as well. I spend a lot of time with these animals and when this stuff happens it is really sad and difficult for me.

some reflections/thoughts i had from my priests homily at daily mass today:
all of us, the apostles, everyone has had that thought before - 'is this truly Messiah?"
Judas had that thought after spending at least 3 years with Jesus.
Judas chose money, 30 silver pieces, over eternal life and happiness.
We all have this choice - what will you choose? Money and material things, or God, eternal life and true happiness?

@Valarie Song, absolutely sending prayers out for the two felines, but also for YOU! Having volunteered in numerous shelters and wildlife rehab centers, I know the heartache that can come with the territory you now tread, but I also know it is worth it for the difference it makes in animals' lives, even if the outcome is not what one would always hope. Just be careful of your own well being, too.

I recently lost a man who my mum and I both looked up to, and will add your friend to my prayers as well as Val and her kitties
