A Bunny and a New Buddy
Harper has decided to take her fluffy pet bunny for a walk outside. Since it was beginning to be spring time the weather was starting to be really nice. So, she definitely wanted to take the time to enjoy it. Though she loves all of the seasons because she thought that they brought their own joys, just like everyone else, she needed a change this year winter seemed to be taking an extra long amount of time and she was ready for the change of spring.
She found a spot to sit with Smokey in the courtyard and she wore a bit smile on her face. She picked Smokey up and placed him gently on her lap. Then after a moment she talked quietly to her bunny pal.
"Isn't it nice out today Smokey? I'm so ready for winter to be done and over with." She said as she lightly petted his head. That was one of his favorite places to be scratched. She had also brought along a carrot as a special snack for him for later. He loved to eat most vegetables but carrots were his favorite. He seemed to eat those right up quicker than anything else she had given him in the past. So she always made sure that she had them packed as a special treat.
