Athena wasn't the type of person you would think would be comforting. It was probably because of her pureblood family, or her seemingly always serious look. But if you really spend time near her, most likely, you'd feel a sense of ease. You'd find yourself easily trusting Athena. Athena has a kind heart, even if it doesn't look like she does. If she can, she will help those who seek it. It was always a wonder on how in the worse of situations, she could calm others down. Even the chaotic kids that lived a few houses down from their mansion if they threw a tantrum. It was no doubt she was who everyone came to, if ever they had problems. She had a surprising amount of people come talk to her, even her maids and even her neighbors. It was undeniable that she gave an aura of calm, most people who came to her found it easy to trust her. She comforts whoever needs it, she has an encouraging voice in her head that makes her want to help out and comfort people. Usually, her company usually makes people calm, even if she doesn't even speak to them. A mere wave, or even just a smile, would put anyone at ease, she really had an aura of calm that was always with her, everywhere and anywhere she went, she always gave that aura. It was difficult to feel worried around her, and nearly impossible if she set her mind on comforting you. It was sort of a blessing for her. It was a cold, rainy night, the rain was heavy, every drop of water that hit the roof of the Addisons mansion were so distinct. Amidst the splatter of rain and the rumble of thunder, there was also the sound of arguing and shouting. Athena sat on her bed, when she heard this. "Ugh- Mom and dad again?" She mumbled to herself. It was not the first time that her parents had fought. She reluctantly stood up and left her room, heading towards the dinning room where they were. She saw many of the maids cleaning, some reading news papers but their eyes not moving, it was clear everyone was trying to eavesdrop. When the maids saw Athena some got startled and busied themselves with cleaning, others bustling off into the kitchen. She told the maid closest to her, "What's mother and father fighting about this time?" The maid seemed nervous. "Don't worry you won't get in trouble." She assured her. Immediately, the maid seemed more reluctant to tell her. "Uh- Your mom and dad's fighting about how much time they need to spend with family" she said, her voice speaking quickly but quietly. "I see" Athena said. She walked into the room where her parents reside, screaming at each other. "Can we all just- stop?" Athena shouted, immediately there was silence aside from the sound of many footsteps, the maids were eavesdropping again, but that was the least of her problems. "Can you stop shouting at each other? Handle the situation without shouting for God's sake!" She said to her parents. Her parents stood there frozen. "You guys need to calm down, talk about this in a more civilized manner. There's no point in shouting, if it wasn't raining the whole neighborhood would have you guys." She said. Her parents stood there. "I'm sorry dear, uh- we will." Said her mother. "Yes, just like what your mother said." Said her father. She let out a sigh before turning around, satisfied that they were no longer shouting at each other. If theres one thing for sure, its that Athena really does have a Calming Presence.
