Olli Laine and Maila Laine are biracial twins. He inherited his mother's white skin, while she inherited her father's darker skin. Their similarities? An average sized mole just below their left eyes. But that's where they end. Olli's natural hair colour is dark brown, and he loves it. His eyes are wide and blue. He is often wearing black or blue clothing, which his mother says 'brings out his eyes'. He is well-built for an 11 year old, and lifts weights on a weekly basis.

Olli can be quite unapproachable, but once you're in with him, he is a great friend. Unlike his sister, he prefers being surrounded by a crowd (especially if they're admirers). In his free time, Olli enjoys the drums and ice hockey, as well as hanging out with his old friends. Olli has a 'don't care' attitude when it comes to his school grades. Like his sister, he isn't afraid of getting into fights, and though he wouldn't like to admit it, he will protect the people he cares about if it ever comes down to that.
History:
Born on 21 of November 2009 to Maria Lain at age 18. His father's name is Viktor and he left Maria as soon as he heard that she got pregnant. Maria moved to Finnland, Porvoo with Olli and Maila, further away from her parents who live in Helsinki (since her parents weren't supportive). Since then Maria has been working really hard in several muggle shops to provide for her children. They moved from apartment to apartment before Maria was finally able to afford her own house as well as work in an Inn in the highest position. Olli spend a lot of time in the Inn, meeting a lot of people whenever he wasn't in Kindergarden and later school. Olli learned to play the drums when he was very young, and received a drum kit for his 9th birthday, which he still plays today. He liked to drive his sister crazy. Olli’s other hobby was ice hockey. He played for a Club Name with his two friends, Name and Name. The three had actually met playing ice hockey. Olli has also been taught basic English at school and his mother had taught him more advanced work at home. Olli often helped his sister out with her job load, but she had always been better and held more responsibility. Since his mother ofter worked late Olli relied on his sister’s cooking but when nagged he would help her with few house jobs. At home they have a middle sized garden with lots of fruit trees as well as a vegetable garden.
When Maila and Olli got their letters for Durmstrang, they told the people at muggle school that they are going to transfer to a boarding school, avoiding any questions about where and why. Of course that is hard in such a small town but soon everyone was talking about something else again, which relaxed them a lot. They didn't want anyone to find out, or the life her Mother had built them there would be ruined. When he arrived at Durmstrang, Olli made a name for himself for the teachers and the students. His teachers dislike his 'bad boy energy' and much prefer his sister, but he became one of the popular kids. A few months after starting to attend Durmstrang, someone started sending them wizarding money for their education and everything they needed. Maria kept this a secret from the twins but she used the money for everything they needed. She didn't like doing that but she knew that it came from Viktor and she took that as a half hearted apology from him.
Olli Laine, along with her twin sister, has visited the muggle kindergarten and pre-school in Finland before all else. After that he went to public school in Porvoo with Maila. Olli has never cared much for school, and often spent his time playing ice hockey with his friends instead of studying/homework. He manages to keep his grades at Cs (now As), because he doesn't want to be a complete disappointment to his mother.
Shamefully, he also followed his sister with his First Instance of Magic. While Maila accidentally broke her violin, enraged he hadn't been 'told' he was a wizard, Olli retired to his room, where he furiously knocked over his prized drum kit, breaking one of the drums. He flew out of his room to tell his sister what she had made him do and when he dragged her back, the drum kit was sitting fixed like it had been five minutes ago.
