Azrael Faire, a small Gryffindor gender-neutral, walked by the waters edge, their mind racing. The day was March 10th, they couldn't wait to finally go and see their big Clydesdale horses, by this time all of Hogwarts knew they played the violin, that is exactly what they were planning to do today. Play away their feelings and offer music to the god of water, Nijord. They set their violin case down on the soft grass, poppy's grew around the area. It truly was beautiful. They smiled as they remembered their mothers song, the very first one that they could remember her singing to them. About a Soldier, a Poet, and a King. They picked up their violin and bow, resting their chin against the black piece and began playing Soldier, Poet, King by the Oh, Hello's. They sung along as they did, unable to help themselves. "There will come a soldier! Who carries a mighty sword~ He will tear your city down~ Oh lei oh lai oh lord~ Oh lei~ Oh Lai~ Oh lei~ Oh lai~ Oh Lord~ Their voice echoed around the area as their fingers flew to keep with the notes, Azzy closed their eyes as they sung, getting lost in the music.

Alana was walking around the Great Lake when she heard a voice echoing through out the quiet scenery. Scanning the area with her light blue eyes the young red head spotted Azrael. The sound of their violin's strings sending a sense of peace and calming throughout the air. Being the curious type Alana moved closer hearing them singing About a Soldier, a Poet and a King. Growing up in a muggle community. Along with being a Half-blood Alana recognized the song one that many of her friends in Hastings would sing together as they would dance by the sea side. Moving closer a grin broke out on the young red heads face.

"There will come a Poet, Whose weapon is his word, he will slay you with his tongue, Oh lei, oh lai, oh Lord. Oh lei, Oh lai, Oh Lord, Oh lei, Oh lai, Oh lord."

Alana danced a bit smiling brightly a toothy grin emerging on her face. Though any normal eleven year old may not be as brave or maybe reckless as Alana to disturb the piece that was surrounding the Great Lake. As young Azrael played the violin. Alana just seemed to lost and distracted in the music she didn't really seem to think properly one would say. For just a second Alana felt like she was back home in Hastings, with all of her muggle friends. Before starting her life at Hogwarts.

Azrael finished the song and spotted a red haired girl who had been dancing, how long had she been there?! Oh Gods! Azzy cleared their throat before speaking so as not to startle the girl. "U-uhm... Did you like my music?" They asked, sitting down in the grass. They had to admit that they were a bit shocked to see anyone down by the waters edge. It was rare to find anyone here at this time. They watched the girl. "I'm Azrael, by the way. Azrael Faire. But, please call me Azzy. Most everyone does. It's just easier. What brings you down by the waters edge this afternoon?" They asked curiously. They were curious about the girl. They couldn't quite place their finger on it, but they were intreigued. Her red hair suggested Ireland, Azzy's homeland. But probably far from it. Most everyone here had an English accent when they spoke, and they knew accents when it came down to it. Their current love interest, Rhys, was from Wales, they could tell from the accent. The girl seemed happy and care free. So Azzy smiled. "I know a few other folk songs for the violin if you'd like me to keep playing?"

Alana grinned brightly at Azzy her grin shone brightly reflecting the excitement. Alana turned her gaze towards the waters edge smiling fondly thinking of her hometown. Turning her gaze back to Azzy Alana hummed thoughtfully.

"I loved your music it was very intriguing so full of life. My names Alana! Alana Dibble it is my pleasure to meet you!"

Alana glanced at the water again smiling ever so fondly her freckles showing prominently on her face. Her eyes scanning the water she thought of her answer to respond to Azzy the Great Lake reminded Alana of her hometown Hastings besides it not being a large seaside town. The Great Lake was large and beautiful the suns light shining down on it brightly. Made Alana feel at home. Her gaze stayed focused on the lake as she responded back to Azzy.

"I grew up in a seaside town known as Hasting. The lake reminds me of my hometown it's beautiful there. I miss it sometimes, but I enjoy Hogwarts a lot more honestly!"

Alana hummed again staring at Azzy quietly smiling fondly at the thought of home.

"I love to hear more songs! I enjoy music quite a lot honestly!"

The young red haired girl cheerfully spoke. Her gaze staring at Azzy as the young girl smiled brightly.

Azzy smiled at the girls excitement. She was quite a charmer. But she couldn't resist the applause. They once again raised the violin to them and began to play Photograph by Ed Sheeran. They closed their eyes and let emotion overcome them, the beautiful music echoed over the water as they did. In their mind, as they played, they thought about Rhys. Part of them wished that the incident at the Valentine's Day Ball hadn't happened. Were they that head over heels for the other non-binary Gryffindor? They continued playing, drawing the bow and finally pouring a bit of themselves into the music. It was time to not hold back, this time they had an audience, so why play any different from what they normally did? They continued, tears beginning to slip down their face, they didn't know why, they'd only brought their violin out because it was a nice day to be by the lake. Rhys wandered back to their mind, somehow their music becoming more and more passionate. The other non-binary wouldn't go away! But, Azzy wouldn't rather have anyone else on their mind right now. The way the other Gryffindor smiled, their voice... As they finished up the piece, Azzy lowered their violin and wiped away the tears that had fallen, thankfully they wore water-proof make-up. They suddenly remembered Alana was there and smiled at her. "Sorry. My music isn't usually that passionate. But I hoped you liked it." They said, setting their violin and bow down to pop their fingers and wrists. They liked to keep their hands flexible.

Alana closed her eyes listening to Azrael play their violin. The young fiery red haired girl could sense the passion coming from the music making Alana beam with joy. It rather encouraged her to know how passionate Azzy was at that exact moment. Alana opened her eyes quietly noting the tears that seemed to slip from Azraels eyes. Alana seemed to look slightly concerned but brushed it off after all the other Gryffindor seemed to smile after they had finished playing their violin.

Alana stared softly at Azrael tilting her head slightly to the left. The young fiery red haired girl smiled ever so brightly like a radiating star. Feeling the wind brush past her gently swaying her fiery red hair. Alana gazed softly at Azrael.

"Your music is quite lovely. You really are talented, I quite enjoyed it."

Alana spoke softly growing a toothy little grin. Her sea-foam blue eyes radiated with pure joy. As the young girl seemed rather interested in the scenario in front of her. The young girl looked across the Great Lake humming softly to herself before glancing back over at Azrael.

"The Lake is the perfect spot to let loose and play till your hearts content after all the music echoes and sends such a serene feel to the area."

Alana spoke softly before gazing across the lake a soft grin gracing the young girls face she was ever so grateful to hear Azrael play. Alana felt very over joyed the other Gryffindor seemed nice and their music was ever so beautiful to the fiery red haired girl. Alana continued to gaze across the Great Lake taking in the scenery around her.
