I already have in mind what character I will be doing next but it won't be until Kim graduates. Lei Chen is my new character's name and he's one of Kim's cousins. As for what house he'll be in, really he can fit into any house other than Gryffindor. I mean he can even fit in Gryffindor too but I'd prefer OOC not to get the same House, so I'll be happy with any House other than Gryffindor. I'll specifically be choosing answers to the questions that are as far away from Gryffindor as possible to ensure that I'll get a new House. If I had a choice in the matter, I'd say... Ravenclaw or Slytherin.
But Hufflepuff sounds like fun too!

ok elaborating more because I didn't before. Reena and Juni were both extremely bubbly and both went different ways because the personality didn't fit my way of writing, but I want to make a real and genuine character that doesn't have a runway model as a faceclaim, and someone with normal quirks and traits that I can develop over time.Reena Delgado wrote: 9 Mar 2023, 21:17they'd be normal, lol. I adore Opeila as the person she has become the last years, I feel like it is one of the perks of actively staying with a character for years. I enjoy her story, her personality, her abilities- I'm not sure if I would change anything! Why did you pick or not pick a special talent/race and which one would you pick if you got to pick one now?

At first, I wanted to be a part-goblin(mostly for the money benefits haha)but I'm actually happy being full human because that opens me up to more abilities(and higher stats). I did it to expand Pandora's story even more. The reason why she is a Dhampir is that her grandmother is a Vampire, so her maternal side opens up even more. I picked Parselmouth because I thought it was a special talent not a race, which it technically IS a special talent but it also counts as a 'race' even though it's not. I didn't realize at the time that choosing it would bar me from certain abilities I wanted to choose later on down the line. Such as I wanted to be an Animagus and thought choosing Parselmouth was a special talent, therefore I could still be an Animagus later. At the time there was nothing stating that by choosing Parselmouth you couldn't become an Animagus. Later on it was added as a disclaimer that by choosing things like this you won't be able to become an Animagus later. But at the time I was choosing, that disclaimer was not there. If I'd known I couldn't choose Animagus later I wouldn't have picked or chosen Parselmouth. Because I would rather be an Animagus than a Parselmouth.
I was just shafted because I wasn't aware at the time and now I can't change it.
I wouldn't pick anything special talent or race related I would be normal, so I could be an Animagus like I originally planned on doing.

Ah, I was in the same position when I joined. That is not a new thing at all, special talents were never going to be able to pick animagus.
But I love seer, Opeila's whole story is based on it. I'm looking forward to Patronus though!
