Peace and Quiet... Closed

Did she... did Sadie just invite her to join a club?

Rorie opened her mouth in disbelief. Had her act of clumsiness not made Sadie feel awkward? She was extremely happy at that, seeing as it was the first person to invite her to do anything with them.

"I would love to join your club!" Rorie said happily, excited to finally meet someone she could consider a friend. Sadie was kind and brave and stuck up for things, and Rorie thought that was super cool. Life was not fair, and it was better to learn that early on, rather than rely on heroes to fix everything.

Letting out a small sigh of resignation at realizing he was not going to get any peace and quiet here, in the library, Xander shut his book closed and quietly returned it to the shelves, taking note of those who were milling around. Then, just as silently, returned to his desk where his Transfiguration homework had been hastily done - not up to his usual standard but with this noise going on around him, who could blame him. He grabbed the scroll and blew on it to settle the ink, before he rolled it up and placed it in one of the pockets of his robe.

He walked out of the library, wishing ever more keenly that he had the ability to cast the 'silencio' charm...
