Special day Finished

Freya walks in the library with her head full of strange thoughts and theories and hands carrying three to four books.
She had neglected homework for so long that it piled up, some projects were unfinished and some which hadn't even started yet.
There were also assignments which she hadn't even glanced at but that's a different story.

She walks in wearing a flannel shirt over a black tank top, black shoes and black shorts with her hair in a messy half updo wondering where to sit, she spots a pretty girl wearing a white t-shirt with her hair tied up with a golden bow.
A smile formed on freya's face as she thinks about approaching her and talking to her.
She walks up to herself secretly hoping that she won't mind a stranger randomly introducing herself in the library but shoving those thoughts aside she started off with

"heyyy sooo watcha doing there?" she asks in a slightly akward manner and continues with "I'm Freya! Freya Augustus! So nice to meet you"
She says with a goofy smile and sitting down on the chair in front of her hoping she won't mind. She sets her books on the table.

"Hey, I am Linda. Linda Ramirez. I was writing a plan for today. I have birthday and was planning how I can spend it."

Interesting, we just met and I already tell her about my birthday and sitting here alone, I hope it doesn't sound bad starting conversation like that, but she asked me what I was doing.

Maybe she would wish to share this day with Linda. This day is really nice, it would be sad to spend it alone as any other day. Other days Linda at least spend with reading, walking and running, except for sure homework, but today should be different. Maybe if this girl came to her someone else will join us, anyway I am not loosing anything. Either I will get new friends and will spend this day as I didn't imagine or I will just spend it as already wrote in my plan.

"Nice to meet you Freya. So what about you? Btw I like your style."

If Linda will be alone, she will just do as planned, but if at least this girl will join her, maybe they could make a party,maybe even someone else would come.

Azrael Faire was a non-binary first year in Gryffindor. However they knew the who, what, when, where and why of Hogwarts due to their quiet personality. It was quite hard for them to make friends, today they had heard that it was Linda Ramirez's birthday. And they had made a gift for her, a stuffed rabbit that they had crocheted. They had wrapped it in a purple parcel, girls liked purple right? Sure it was Azzy's favorite color, but they weren't entirely a girl either. They approached a corner table with two girls there. One had on a gold bow, they knew they should have trusted their gut and went with gold! Dangit! Oh well. She would have to get over it. They sat down and pushed the purple parcel towards the girl with the gold bow. "Linda Ramirez right? Happy Birthday." They said. They hoped that Linda liked it. They had poured so many hours into this stupid bunny. (They had a right to say that as they had pricked their fingers so many times when sewing on the limbs, head, and ears and for good measure added crochet to them so it would look smoother.) "I'm Azrael Faire by the way, sorry for the very sudden surprise."

Linda looked at the parcel while answering "Hi Azrael, yea, I am Linda Ramirez, you can call me just Linda. Thank you for your gift. "

This parcel looks so nice, I already like the way it is wrapped, I guess they did it by their hands. I like handmade gifts, it's always about time person spent while doing it. Interesting what is inside it? I will open it now, but carefully. I think Azrael is feeling worried, I need to open it so they can see my reaction. This day is surely getting more awesome than I planned. Interesting, will they agree to spend more time together and be friends or they will disagree and go. But they sat down near, doesn't look like they are hurry to leave.

Opening wrapping so carefully, as wondering if color is their favorite too or just they chose one of Linda's favorite color by luck. Ohhh, it's so nice rabbit,but wait me, is it made by hands as well? Looking at the stuffed rabbit
It's so amazing job, I wish I would know how to do something like that, but maybe they would teach me one day. I hope they see how much I like it, not sure my face actually shows all happiness I have now.
"Thank you so much, it's amazing. I really like it so much. What do you plan to do today? I wrote some plan for me, but it would be nice to actually spend this day not alone." Showing Freya rabbit.
"Isn't it great?"

I asked as if they already were my friend, I hope that didn't sound rude, guess this nice unexpected gift made me too happy, I think I will carry this sweet rabbit with me but how should I name it?

Azzy relaxed a bit, the girl seemed nice enough they guessed. A smile spread across their face as they read Linda's body language. She was excited. "I'm glad you like it. Took me hours to complete. A few hundred pricks as well." Azzy felt a pride in their chest, happy that they could actually make someone smile like this. "I can teach you how if you'd like. And I can even bake your cake. Makes no sense for the Birthday Girl to do it. Now does it?" Azzy asked, their voice kinda stern. They now realized that this girl had to have a party, and they didn't care how hard the labor was gonna be, they were going to make sure this girl had one heck of a birthday party. "Anywhere specific you wanted to hold the party? I know a few good spots, and a few places that could help if need be?" Azzy was now glad that they spent most of their time listening to and reading people. It was mostly a self defense tactic, but this girl seemed to have no immediate threat to them, so they relaxed fully, kicking back and crossing their arms, watching her.

"It would be great if you could teach me, I guess we could meet else,
I doubt we would do it today. Ohhh, even pricks? You must be more careful next time. But thank you so much, I really like it, what should I name this nice rabbit though? You know, I really appreciate your hard work, I believe it was worth all the time you spent. "

They seem to be so nice, I think this could be starting of new friendship. They can make something like this wonderful rabbit, seems like they can bake cakes as well, they even can organize a party for me, I wonder what else they can do, what are their hobby. Sounds like this birthday brought someone so close in interests to Linda.

"You can bake a cake? It sounds great, but only if it's not hard for you. " Feeling shy asking someone to do for her, Linda hopes it doesn't sound like she already wants too much from others. I had a thought about a cake, it would be great if they can really do it, so she doesn't need to think about it, beside well, why would she lie, she adores cakes.

"I don't really have anything special about party, but it would be nice to have it somewhere outside, but I don't really know who would come to this party, I don't know whom to invite☺

Why does it sound like I am trying to get them do completely everything, well, maybe it just feels so as I didn't have anyone do so much for me before except my family. But I guess I can consider them as my new friend now. Great, in the morning I couldn't imagine that this day will be even more special. I hope it's not a dream...

Monday's were arguably the worst day of the week. You had to go to bed early on Sunday and wake up super early and then go to class. It was horrible! Nothing could even come close to how bad Monday's were.
After classes were pretty fun, so long as you didn't have homework to complete. Not that Ciel was ever on top of that kind of stuff- everyday her assignments weren't due, she wouldn't be working on them. A true procrastinator at heart, Ciel found herself slamming some books in the library to up her knowledge on their upcoming Charms test. Yuck.
Commotion from a table over caught her eye, a present and talking about cake made Ciel's eyes shoot wide open. Was it someone's birthday?! The most precious day of the year and it was on a Monday?
"Psst, hey, is it your birthday?" She asks the two, they're both wearing a Gryffindor tie so they were probably in Gryffindor. Ciel had kind of hoped that she got sorted into Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff was nice as well! "You can invite me to your party- if it is your birthday."
Oh damn, if you went to a party you probably had to bring gifts, huh? Well Ciel had snuck into Hogsmeade once, she could definitely do it again to get something nice. Maybe she still had some spare pocket-change up in her trunk.

Suddenly while answering to Azrael, Linda heard someone asking if she had a birthday and about party. Great, I guess having people who will be on party won't be a problem. This day is bringing a lot of new people to her while she thought she would have to spend it alone. I guess I can show her this nice stuffed rabbit as well, but I think she will notice, it's better to have her sitting with us just.

"Yea, it's my birthday today. You can sit with us so we can discuss everything not bothering others."

Just now I realized that not only I have new friends who seem to wish to share with me my birthday, but they are from different houses as well, I think it's great, I hope competition between houses won't affect on this friendship as it seems to become great day with interesting beginning of friendship.

"We were just starting to talk about party, but you can join us anyway.

I am wondering if someone else would join us, I hope they won't mind though, I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable here, but why I think about it now, I should be just enjoying this day with whatever else it's bringing for me. I was thinking just now, I can't always carry this awesome rabbit in my hands, I guess I will put it carefully in my bag, on the other side, the only time I really have to do it, is just for lessons time, otherwise I don't really care what others will think about girl with stuffed rabbit. It's first time someone gifts me something made by hands, I don't want them to think that after today I will just put it somewhere and that's it. At least I would be happy to know that someone really appreciates my gift, I guess they would feel the same.

Meris came tumbling into the library at that point, covered in what looked like...sparkles. Only the sparkles didn't really seem to be sparkles, it seemed to be every color of ink on her all at once with specs of shiny in it. After untangling her person from her colorful robes she turn to the gathering group and said: "Did I hear the word birthday? My Mam sent me a recipe for a really decedent lemon cake. Do you think we could go borrow the kitchen from the house elves for a while?"

Meris had a twinkle in her eye that seemed to match her disheveled look and indicate a look of mischievousness. By now she was sorting through her pockets for the scrap of letter that had come in her owls that morning. Triumphantly she pulled the scrap from her pocket and held it up for all to see, and out from her pocket also tumbled a handful of lemons!



They tumbled out of her robes and onto the floor all over in the library. Meris sighed melodramatically and began to scoop the little buggers back into her robe pockets.

"Well?" she asked expectantly, "do you want to go bake a birthday cake?"
