History/Background Story: Magdaline, who prefers to be called 'Maggie' or 'Mags'- has an unfortunately sad past. She was born on November 6th, 2010. Maggie has previously been bullied by other kids, usually due to her shyness around others. Still, her mother and older sister have always been by her side in life, and the bullying usually doesn't affect her much anymore. Maggie's father had mysteriously vanished without a trace when she was 9. Her father always cared about others more than himself, and she got her compassion and big heart from him. Her family moved from Scotland to London shortly after her father vanished. Nobody has ever found this out, but Maggie's father had gotten on a boat one day, and sailed far away, going into hiding. He was driven to do this after being hit by a panic attack, which he has suffered many of ever since he was a child. He had always been able to subdue these attacks in the past, but for some reason, this one was worse than any the poor man had experienced before. He wasn't thinking clearly, and he boarded the first boat he saw, (This was when Maggie's family still lived in Scotland, and they lived near a port.) and set sail wherever his clouded mind took him.
Maggie's older sister, Roseline Pritchett, is a well-known writer who publishes her often horror-themed novels. Maggie seems to have gotten her love for writing from her sister. Roseline is a squib, so Maggie will have to endure this adventure in Hogwarts on her own. Maggie had experienced accidental magic fairly late in childhood. She had her first accidental use of magic at nine years old. One chilly morning, while she was brushing her hair in the bathroom, the brush flew out of her hand and hit the mirror, shattering it. When Maggie received her Hogwarts acceptance letter, she became very nervous. She was reluctant to leave the safety of her mother and sister, but she was too excited about this new adventure not to go. A few tears and tissues later, she was on the train to Hogwarts. At the Sorting Ceremony, she was sorted into Slytherin. So far, Maggie has found it rather difficult to find or make new friends.
