To her utter relief, it seemed like she was not wrong about the boy. He was smiling and his tone was soft as he answered her question. Eun-ji smiled right back, immediately feeling much less nervous. “Nice to meet you Dylan. My name is Eun-ji.” The witch gave her name in return. Her grandparents would probably prefer if she told him their family name as well but the boy didn’t do so and she didn’t want to make it sound like she was here purely to make connections. That was the Hunts’ desire, not hers. If she had to mingle, she’d rather do it in a friendly manner and avoid any unnatural social interactions.

“You may,” Eun-ji replied with a smile as she took the offered hand and let Dylan walk her to the dancing floor. “You are not a Hogwarts student, correct?” She was quite confident that was the case since they looked around the same age. The Ravenclaw wasn’t exactly a social butterfly as of late but it was impossible not to know your classmates after four years. By now she remembered everyone even if they hardly talked to each other. This meant Dylan was a student from another school, she just didn’t know which one. In all honesty besides Ye-jun, who was her cousin, she hasn’t managed to make friends with any of the foreign students. She always struggled at that… making friends. If anything, she was far better at losing them.

As they reached their destination, Eun-ji briefly looked around. The dancing floor was not too crowded nor too empty. This is good. She thought to herself. Placing one hand on the boy’s shoulder, she offered the other for him to take. The witch wondered whether he was a good dancer but didn’t mind either way. She could handle a bad one just fine. After all, she spent two years teaching Lucia and most of her ball partners weren’t exactly great dancers either. Everything was going to be fine as long as they had fun.

Dylan was happy- well glad that someone had asked him out to a dance. He was bored and had no idea what he could do there. He was trying to stay away from people's way and not wanting to bump into anyone. But well he was not that hidden that he wouldn't be seen by people. He was glad that someone had spotted him and had made the bold step to ask him about it. "Hello Eun-ji. Nice to meet." Dylan said with a soft smile on his face.

Dylan smiled as he looked at her. He was glad that she had taken his hand. He could lead her to the dance floor now. He did that. "That is right. I am from Durmstrang. But my friend, Damion White is in Hogwarts. Ravenclaw house." He said. He didn't want to bring Damion in his conversation but he couldn't help it. Well now it was done. "Damion and I are childhood friends. We have neighboring houses back in Wales." Dylan said. Telling her more about Damion. Stop it. Dylan scolded himself. "I'm sorry I am telling you information that you don't need." He said feeling stupid. "Are you from Hogwarts?" Dylan asked looking at her.

Dylan was glad that the dance floor was not too crowded other wise he might bump into people. He was trying to avoid that. He smiled as he felt Eun-ji's hand on his shoulder. He took her other hand and placed his free hand on her waist. He started dancing. He was sort of a good dancer. But he was not sure if he was doing it right. He led her towards the right, then left and then right again before he twirled her.

“Oh, really?” Eun-ji perked up upon hearing Damion’s name. “I know Damion. We are not necessarily friends but we are in the same year and house as well. We also have a common friend and are both part of his cooking club.” She explained with a gentle smile. It was nice to know that they had something in common even if it was a very weak link. Perhaps they would see each other at Hogwarts next time then. Truth be told, the witch had to admit she was a bit surprised to hear Dylan was a Durmstrang student. She didn’t like stereotypes but everybody from that school she had encountered so far wasn’t a very pleasant person. She wondered how he fit in with his classmates but didn’t dare to ask. Hopefully he had some likeminded friends there. In any case, that was not something you could ask someone you just met. Eun-ji knew better than that.

“I'm sorry I am telling you information that you don't need.” The Ravenclaw shook her head. “No no. It’s completely fine. I really don’t mind.” She assured the boy with a smile. It actually made her more comfortable around him. She was worried at first. Eun-ji hated hanging out with someone that was not talkative. She was an introvert and always had trouble keeping the conversation going with such people. Especially the cold and confident types. It made her feel like she was a nuisance to them and she had plenty of that at home. She didn't need to feel like that around strangers as well. “You have visited Hogwarts then? How did you like it?”

So it turned out Dylan was a good dancer. Perhaps not a master of said craft but he had no problems following the steps and even improvised a little. Eun-ji, being an excellent dancer and having a great passion for the art, didn’t have any issues keeping up with the boy. It was certainly fun. “You are a good dancer.” She finally voiced her opinion aloud as well. She didn’t sound surprised, it was a mere acknowledgement of his skills. “Do you like dancing or is it just something you had to learn?” The witch found that the second option was more common among her dancing partners but she always liked to ask anyway. It was nice to hear when someone felt the same as she did.
