Aurora Griffith, an abnormally short, redheaded Hufflepuff. Seems innocent, does it?

She may be a half-blood, but there are lots of rumors surrounding her pureblood family, the Scottish Moriartys, but that's not all. She is suspected of having a muggleborn aunt, and many more mysterious relatives, which causes a lot of speculation about the interconnected Griffith family. So, what's the deal about Griffith?

Doing some digging, I learned that she has the same wand core and wood as Bellatrix Lestrange, a death eater who was the most faithful of Voldemort's followers, and the most sadistic. Scares you a little, doesn't it?

So, what does this have to do with Aurora? The Hufflepuff may have lots of good qualities, but it's only a matter of time until we figure out just how guilty she is.

"Ro sits at a table calmly, hiding the fact that she was very bored. She was indeed NOT known as one of the funniest people out there, but she was vowing to change that. Grinning, she asks, "Do you want to hear one of my best jokes?" One may wonder how dark it'll be most probably won't. "So, good sir, or ma'am, whoever you are, did you read the news today?" "Yes, I daresay, it's quite good news." "Yes it is, it concerns a potted plant, a box of Peruvian darkness powder, and a witch?" "Yup, the witch takes the powder, sprinkles it on the plant, the dumps that plant into the lake. A couple of days later, the plant dies. 'What happened?' The witch asks. 'I gave it food and water, what more could it need?' " Aurora bursts out laughing, but alas, nobody joins her."

Ah, feelings, those little things that get to us. Some of us consider them a weakness, others a strength, for others, it's a way to say what's on their mind, sometimes without words. They can be pretty helpful, but people often think they get in the way. Well, here's a tip: they only get in the way if you aren't gonna talk about them! Feelings can be tricky to handle, emotions like a raging fire, but pushing them down won't help. But what will help is communicating feelings, though. If you're feeling a strong emotion, then go ahead and let it out, in a healthy way, of course. Joy and excitement, Fury/Anger, pure embarrassment, and sadness always get to you in the end. One of the worst things you can do is feel hurt and not tell somebody. In the end, feelings and emotions can sometimes feel harmful, but they usually turn out helpful in the end. Can you even imagine what life would be like without emotions and feelings? Take a minute to think about it...scary, right? We'd all be nothing, just static human beings that always spoke in a boring monotone. Probably. There'd be no authors, dancers, musicians, artists, or any creators if you think really hard about it, theoretically. There'd probably be no countries. no politicians, and I wonder if they could get by with school, either. Well, probably not, because there'd be no books! So, reading that, aren't you glad that you still have your emotions in the end? Well, good. Consider holding on to them, you're gonna need it. And the next time you feel a strong emotion, listen up! What's your mind trying to tell you?

It was a nice day outside. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the greenery was thriving- a perfect day to go out and try something new.

Even though I loved the fascinating wizarding world with its magic and splendor, this week would be my week. Which meant, no magic. This Easter Break was one of the few chances I got to go home during the school year, and I was gonna treasure ever last moment.

I was gonna go roller skating. The wizarding world may be great with its flashy attractions and so many things to do, but there was a lot you could do in the regular, ordinary, mundane muggle world too. Even though that sounded very ironic. I laced up the pink and black skates and held onto a tree, balancing myself.

And then, with the grace of a clumsy clown, I skidded down the street of Muggletown out of control, spinning and falling my arms out like a chicken on greased wheels. Until I finally hit a tree trunk. Ow... so, crashing into things, is problematic.

I hoped that I would be able to practice again sometime, though, after that, I considered going home, because I could've sworn I saw stars and cuckoo birds for a second. Head spinning, I took off the helmet that came with the roller skates. How do these people do it? I wondered.

What I did know was that one of these days, I was gonna commit an entire day to learning how to roller skate, because it's a lot harder than they make it out to be.

Depending on the genre, different narrators will tell your story complete with realistic sound effects, soaring music, and more, literally a movie to your ears. It's a bit like a muggle audiobook, a book read aloud by a narrator, but the effects are never like real life. Never have to miss that good part again with this new spell...

"Incantation is: Movere Narratio"

12-year-old Natalia Waters had been walking home from school one minute, the next she felt like she was falling through empty blackness, and then she got a glimpse of red before she landed on hard ground. Her head was spinning, and her brain hadn't caught up to her body, so it took her 5 minutes to comprehend what had just happened fully. It smelled very earthy, and once Natalia got a full view of her surroundings, she realized she was in a desert of some sort, a red desert. Panicking a little, Natalia looked around for a nearby water source. There was none. She spotted something in the distance, something that looked like a horse. An Arabian horse, by the look of it. It was galloping away from her. Just one problem... it was moving in slow motion. Well, that was strange. Natalia went on, trying to look for water. She finally stopped at a small water hole and opened her water bottle to scoop water into it. As soon as it touched the surface, Natalia felt plunged into darkness and fell until she fell on the ground again. Rubbing her head, she looked around. She was right by a huge rock structure in a different place now. Natalia groaned and stomped off to find water.
Being teleported into different places when she tried the water continued on for about 3 hours before she finally gave up. Her water bottle was empty, so there was no help there. She didn't have any food either. Crap. Alright, time to take a different approach. She had to find help. Natalia ran and found herself running in slow motion. AAAHH! After about 10 more minutes of slow-mo running, she was hurled into a much faster speed. Jarred, she began walking again. She soon came across an old purple bike hidden under some rocks. Natalia propped it up and looked at it. There was a tag that said, "Ticket out the door".
What on Earth(or not)did that mean? Was it her ticket back to Earth? If so, that was great! There was just one problem. It was embarrassing to admit, but she didn't know how to ride a book. She'd seen people do it; why not try? She got on and immediately fell over. Propping the bike up again, she pedaled until she fell over again. Frustrated, she tried about 7 more times before she finally kicked the bike, and, as if jumpstarted, it took off- without her on it. Natalia raced after the bike, terrified, and ran with all her might. She barely managed to jump on and cling to the bike, pedaling furiously, until the scene of red desert in front of her literally shattered, as if she had broken it. She drove straight into empty blackness and landed on her feet where she had been before all of this. She had instantly forgotten, but something had definitely happened.

I was on Easter Break, and after the roller skating disaster, I decided to keep my feet on the ground. For now. I decided to try out basketball. Yes, basketball. I wanted to do a sport, and even though I could've done literally anything else, I decided to do basketball. So, turns out, there was no nearby basketball hoop, so I used a laundry basket instead. And a dirty, old, beat-up ball that I swear was from 1901. I set up the laundry basket on a high branch in a tree, as far as I could reach, and tied it on with twine. Then I stepped a couple of feet back and "threw" the ball. I didn't know the word for it. The ball bounced off the rim of the basket and bonked me on the head, unfortunately... Sometimes I feel like I have horrible karma. I tried again, standing back some more. I took a shot(so that's what it's called!)and, shockingly, I made the basket! I grinned and dribbled the ball for a bit, then took a shot. And it's going...going...and the ball gets stuck in the tree. What did I tell you? Talk about bad karma...sighing, I began to climb the tree, avoiding the branches that I could easily get caught on, jutting out at awkward angles and as sharp as swords. I grabbed the ball...and fell out of the tree, throwing the ball as I did so. OwWwwWWw... I thought, seeing stars for a second. I looked up to see the ball in the laundry basket, I must have thrown it in there after letting go. Curse you, crappy karma, I thought, untying the laundry basket from the branch.

Recipe for Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookies!

Please, raise your hand if you love chocolate! Now, raise your hand if you like cookies. Now, raise your hand if you like caramel! How would it feel to try all three at once in one bite? Mindblowing, right? Imagine the sweet bitterness of caramel, and the rich sweetness of mouth-watering chocolate, all combined in a cookie! Saltiness, sweetness, and a little bit of bitterness from the caramel all at once! Enter the Salted Caramel Stuffed Double Chocolate Cookie! The sweet, salty richness of this cookie will surely make a nice sweet treat, with mouth-watering gooey chocolate and caramel. So, if you're craving a treat that's both sweet and salty, this might be the one!

Recipe for Salted Caramel Stuffed Double Chocolate Cookies:

Ingredients:

-1 cup of flour
-1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-10 tablespoons of softened, unsalted butter
-3/4 cup of brown sugar
-1/4 cup of sugar
-1 room temperature egg
-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/4(1 1/4)of semi-sweet chocolate chips
-18 unwrapped Rolo candies
-1 tablespoon of coarse or flakes sea salt

Instructions:

No.1- In a medium bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl beat together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes). Mix in egg and vanilla until blended.
No.2- Gradually mix in dry ingredients on low speed until just incorporated, don't over mix. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand. (I reserve 1/4 cup for adding at the end) Cover TIGHTLY and chill for 2 hours or overnight.
No.3- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and take the dough out of the fridge while the oven is preheating.
No.4- Roll 2-3 tablespoons of cookie dough into a ball. Break the ball in half and place one half on a baking sheet. Press a Rolo into the center of the cookie dough, top with remaining half of the cookie dough ball and press down on top of the Rolo to cover it completely. Press a few chocolate chips into the top. Repeat with remaining dough and Rolos, placing cookies about 3 inches apart on a baking sheet.
No.5- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the tops of the cookies are just set. Sprinkle immediately with sea salt to taste, then allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
No.6- Serve at room temperature for chewy caramel OR for melty caramel, pop a cookie in the microwave for 8-10 seconds (this is for my microwave, you might need to test with yours to find how many seconds yields a melted caramel center). Store in airtight container.

Mental Description:

Ro is a very friendly girl who loves to be around people and make friends. She's very optimistic, and sentimental/empathetic, even if she doesn't agree with that herself. She's creative and imaginative, and can usually be caught reading some fantastical book in the library. Or daydreaming. She's also very curious, though that isn't always a good thing. When somebody bugs her or puts her in a bad mood, she can rude and sensitive, and tries desperately to please people, which leads to her sometimes being over-trusting. She loves drama, and is also very impulsive, a trait she'd like to rid herself of forever.

History

Aurora Tasmin Griffith was born on November 12th, 2010 to Elodie Henderson, a pureblood who was in Ravenclaw and works at the ministry, and Steffan(Stephen)Griffith, a muggle librarian in her home of Folkestone, England. She also has a dog at home, a beagle named Merlin. She is 3 years younger than her older brother Samuel "Sammy" Griffith, a 4th year Hufflepuff. Ro didn't know about magic until she was 10 years old when she made vines come out of the ground as her first instance of magic. Because it happened so late, she didn't get to learn a lot about the wizarding world until she came to Hogwarts. Before that, she lived an ordinary muggle life, with a muggle friend named Dahlia Newton, who, like Ro's muggle relatives, believes that she's gone to boarding school.

Likes and Dislikes
Ro loves all animals, though her favorite animals are horses. She loves muggle films and books of all kinds. She likes to travel, try new things, and she also likes wearing nice clothes. She doesn't like big crowds, really bright lights, or especially big noises, for those things make her anxious. When somebody is rude to her, she always leaves a particularly bad impression unless that can be changed. She hates mud and hot weather. She also hates bullies and mean people, though it's hard for her to make enemies.

Additional info

Aurora's name means "dawn" or "sunrise" in Latin. She has an all-O average in school and has joined several clubs. She aspires to be a duelist during her time at school, and a magizoologist or even a CoMC professor at Hogwarts after she graduates. Her wand is 29, 7 cm and is made of dragon heartstring and chestnut wood.

Wingardium Leviosa

Wingardium Leviosa(aka the Levitation Spell)is a charm that makes objects levitate(Or fly, depending on how you think of it). It cannot be used to make humans fly, since it can only work on objects like feathers or chairs, but it can be used to make a human's clothes levitate if you ever used it on yourself!
