Rumor: Despite her mother having maintained for literal decades that she's a pureblood, Lucia Fox is actually (*gasp*) a part-Veela! This was revealed in late October 2022 and was followed by a sudden drop in Lucia's grades (which were already pretty low to begin with, except for Astronomy) up until Christmas. They've gotten back to normal now, so Lucia can finally return to Os in Astronomy, yay!

Rumor: BaiKim. How countless people think Bailey and Kim are dating because they're seen all the time together, everywhere. Where one is, people always expect to see the other one and it usually comes true.

Rumor: It seems the ‘nobody’ girl from a poor muggle family has no leash on her tongue, and is willing to go head to head with anyone. She usually keeps to herself, until she hears something that displeases her, or, like most times, someone walks up to her and starts off a conversation. Apparently, the girl, at the ripe age of 11(or 12) will not hesitate to throw an insulat at anyone. Professor or student alike.
Where would the Profs have heard it? (In class, courtyard, Great Hall, etc): Most likely the courtyard. I don’t really know. Mostly from anyone who has had an encounter with the girl, negative or positive.

Alec Mason and Opeila Winters have been spending a lot of time together lately. . . Could it possibly be that they're dating? Was it odd how sudden the rumor of their relationship seemed to come about, especially since the closeness and the amount of time the were spending together was so sudden? Yes, but isn't that the way of young couples? It's rumored that they even might make an appearance at the next ball together.
Was Alec finally over that ex(@Pea Elena Fowl) he had a huge public breakup with where she tried to literally light him aflame? What happened with Wyatt Starkey, didn't him and Opeila go a ball together that one time? Would these questions ever be answered? Likely not, as nobody was going to walk up to Alec and Opeila and ask the unasked. Nobody would admit it but all the unanswered questioned only made this rumor all that more enticing.

There were no bounds to the limits of where this rumor could be heard, and with how accurately it seemed to be portrayed by those involved it wasn't hard for one to be making those assumptions
... Especially because it seemed as if those involved are perpetuating the rumor themselves.

Rumor: They are dating for a couple of months now. They went to the ball together and a few weeks after they were dating.
Where would the Profs have heard it? (In class, courtyard, Great Hall, etc): They aren't secretive about it so many people would probably know about it, especially because they are prefects. Bubba has also given the headliner an interview where he called Sam his girlfriend. On top of that, Samantha loves talking about him even before they were dating she had a huge crush on him (since last school year). The kid also loves talking with teachers so she could have also mentioned it to the profs if they would chat with her.

Rumor: When Samantha went home for Christmas break, her parents were fighting a lot more than normal. Her parents rarely fought before but since her dad started working late (since November) that had changed. When she was back at Hogwarts, her parents rarely wrote her letters anymore. The only one that writes her regularly nowadays is her sister. In the past two months, Samantha has only gotten one letter from her father and two from her mother, while they used to write her once a week. At the end of February (25), her sister wrote her to inform her that her parents were fighting a lot but that she didn't need to worry.
Where would the Profs have heard it? (In class, courtyard, Great Hall, etc): It is most likely that they heard it directly from her or heard her talk about it with a friend in class. It has been on her mind constantly. She would less like her cheery self after she got a letter from her sister, as she hoped it was a letter from her parents. Especially after the letter in which her sister told her about the fights between her parents (end of February), Samantha would be distracted during class. If Farron would ask her about it, she would explain everything.

Rumor: From April 18 onwards when inpcs are around some might see a Gryffindor older student doing quite badly, getting drunk and smoking and all, only to somehow poof into an owl and fly off if ever a professor is nearby. (Yeah, terrible way of not getting caught, idiot auri) Who knows why? Rumours say that in winter break, she had skipped the hogsmaede express to expedite to her Finnish boyfriends' house, (an npc Lysander Virtanen) only for them to break up and the Gryffindor is having quite a rough patch.
