General The Hufflepuff Table 2018-2019

Miko looked their direction and snickered, hearing what the girl had said. He wasn't one for fighting, but she has a good reason. The boy accidentally made eye contact with Emanual but quickly looked away.

He was a shy lad with a not so good past on top of that. To relate to someone would be nice for a change, but he thought nobody else wanted to hear his problems. Although this isn't always the case, his anxiety makes it seem that way a handful of times.

Quickly, Miko grabbed a notepad from his pocket and began taking notes on the 2. The boy is curious yet intelligent, a bit shy but he is pretty tough. As for her, she is quite kind (No doubt she's a natural Hufflepuff) and loving. Her looks may be enough to fool most but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. Miko wrote in the notepad. He glanced over at them getting in a smallnsketch of the pair.

Nobody really liked him writing stuff about them down but then again, nobody would say anything. Miko figured if they don't speak up they are still comfortable. Which was VERY wrong, may I say. This is for several reason but I will narrow it down to one thing, Looks can be deceiving...

Ceraphi sat at the tables next to the other first years. She was ecstatic. She was a Hufflepuff, just like her father used to be. Cera had just taken her inhaler breath and she knew she couldn't be so excited although she really was. She calmed herself down internally as she placed her hands and looked down the table. There were alot of Hufflepuffs. She was a new Hufflepuff and didn't know how to start a conversation with other people. But not knowing what to do next never stopped Ceraphi from doing anything. Her asthma couldn't even stop her from going to stop her, she wasn't gonna let her first day nerves keep her from making friends.

She smiled as she observed a curious boy with a camera and a pretty girl with red hair like hers have a conversation. She turned and looked at another boy who was scribbling things down on a notepad. She turned to the boy with the notepad and smiled at him brightly. She was nervous like anyone was meeting new people but She couldn't let that stop her. She's always had that never give up attitude
"Hello!"
She said happily extending her hand to him.
"I'm Cera. What's your name?"

He looked at the girl and wrote down a couple more words and shook her hand "Nice to meet ya, I'm Miko!" the boy must've been a bit difficult to understand with his thick Scottish accent. "Say, no reason for asking, what is yer favourite book?" Miko asked Ceraphi. The boy's favourite book was of course Fantastic Beasts but maybe it wasn't the same case for her.

What if she can't understand me? What if she doesn't like me? What if she doesn't accept me? was what he was thinking. Even though the questions weren't all likely to be the case, he thought differently. Grabbing his pen, he wrote down her name and some things about her "Bright red hair, a nice girl but I see a bit of asthma maybe? Of course she is a Hufflepuff no way this was not her ideal house to be!" is what Miko wrote down. While waiting for the girl's answer he decided to doodle a bit. He drew a flower, a Geranium to be exact, he drew pretty well for his age but it wasn't perfect.

Drawing was not his talent, music was. Miko loves to sing and play instruments for his family and THAT is his largest strength. The lad can play guitar, piano, trumpet, ukulele, and drums flawlessly. Then again, all of his family was great with music almost as if they were created to wow the crowd with their skill.

What was Ceraphi's favorite book? That was one of the hardest questions she had been asked so far. Books were of course Cera's life. She loved them because they were her companions when she couldn't go outside and go on her own adventures. She thought back to the books she read and one book popped up more than once. A book she's read plenty of times. The first story that got her into adventuring as a child, the book her parents gave her "I think my favorite book is The Tales of Beedle and the Bard." She giggled as she remembered fond memories of it, then stopped as she realized how awkward it was that she was laughing to herself when she was talking to someone. "But Fanstatic Beasts is on my list of top books I'd read more than twice!" She declared addressing Miko's favorite book. It was true through, by this time Cera has read fantastic beasts and where to find them 3 times since she's gotten a hold of her own copy from Diagon Alley.

Cera then noticed Miko writing something. She was, as a curious girl, interested in his little journal book. She bobbed her head to the side. "What are you writing?" She asked. She was never the best writer despite her fondness of reading. Writing was something she could probably do but doesn't do it because she like living the adventures. If there was one hobby she'd be proud of it was her photography. She was fairly good at it at her age, In fact she brought with her her camera. It was back in the dorm room though. "Are you writing a book?" That thought excited her.

She was already excited from the whole day and needed to calm down. She didn't need more things to excite her. At that point she needed to breathe and the crowded Hufflepuff table wasn't helping. She felt her breathing slow and heavy just by a bit. Cera knew she should never risk it. She swiftly took out her inhaler, took a whiff and pocketed it back smiling at Miko. "Sorry, Health thing." She said sitting comfortably back in her chair.

"Oh, it's fine you look like you have Asthma or some breathing problem. Also, I could never write a book, I am not very talented." the boy replied to her, closing the notepad. Miko was secretive about what he wrote because he thought that if he told others what he was writing they would become angry at him, so he figured it'd be best for him to keep to himself. Even though it would be better if he didn't do it in the first place, it had become a habit of his. As everybody knows it's difficult to break a habit.

"Did you know that Thunderbirds can sense danger and the weather reflects their mood? For example, if the weather is pouring rain the Thunderbird is either excited or scared." he said to Cera. The boy was practically an expert on Thunderbirds and other magical creatures, but not quite. He wasn't fully an expert on 'em because he'd never actually met any of them. Just because he had never actually met a magical creature he knew EVERYTHING about them.

Miko looked at Ceraphi and smiled because he was, one, correct about his assumptions about her, and two because she might be a potential friend. She seems really nice, I wonder if she's a future buddy of mine the boy thought to himself.

Ceraphi shook her head. She knew the Thunderbirds controlled the weather with their mood and that they sense danger but she wanted to be polite and say she didn't. She's read Fantastic Beasts and where to find them three times and her photographic memory helped her remember facts about different things at a quick pace. But because she saw Miko as a potential friend She wanted to be polite and nice. "I didn't know that." She said. She then smiled at him "My favorite creature is probably the demiguise. Their really cute... when you can see them" She giggled. It was true she recalled how they can turn invisible and tell the future. "I think i actually saw one once when my family went to the far east a few years ago." Her family took a vacation to the east for her brother's seventh birthday "We went on safari tour there and I swear I saw a peach get picked by an invisible thing and float away" She giggled as she remembered.

She looked at him "Oh and yes, It's asthma. Good catch" She laughed. She paused a bit to dial back on her excitement of making a friend before she needed another whiff from her inhaler. She took a breath and smiled at him again. "You must really like magical creatures don't you?" She assumed. He seemed like he did.
General The Hufflepuff Table 2018-2019
"Well, I guess you can say that. By the way, I can catch when someone's lying." Miko said and smiled at her. When he was a young lad he actually saw a demiguise being visible, he doesn't know how it wasn't invisible but it wasn't.

The strange boy took out his notebook and scribbled down these words Cera is so nice that she actually will tell a white lie when she feels that she might hurt someone's feelings. then he put it back. Miko smiled a bright smile at her and studied her a bit. Vibrant red hair and quite nice. I think I've got my second friend ever! the boy thought.

It's true that Miko can tell a lie, it's not that hard either. All he has to look for are simple signs, loss of eye contact, sweat, stutter, breathing changes, respitory changes and a bunch more. Honestly, it was a bit creepy that he can tell a lie but it can be useful. I mean, if your spouse was cheating on you and you could tell a lie then it would help to stop them.

He looked at his notepad and put it away, not wanting her to see it. After all, Miko has a lot of notes that he doesn't want leaked.

Cera grew a bit pink growing a little embarrassed that Miko had caught her. Cera's nature would cause her to tell some white lies here and there but only those that she know will not really affect anything. It was something she did to get people to like her as she didn't meet a lot of people. She just wanted to make a friend of course. "Well you caught me. I've actually read Fantastic Beast at least three times and am planning to to read it again soon before care for magical creatures class." She grinned. She wasn't particularly proud of how much she was a bookworm "My photographic memory helps me remember facts like that." She smiled. It was true after all. It was something she developed as she kept on reading in her spare time, which was a lot of times when her asthma attacked. That and her active imagination save her from boredom and idleness when she's in the hospital or just bed ridden.

"Reading is my best passed time." She looked down "when I'm not out adventuring that is.. or when I'm not allowed to" She gave him a nervous laugh. Cera tend to get herself into health troubles as she would push herself to do things that she knows will cause an asthma attack. Before leaving for Hogwarts, Her parents contacted the School Nurse and asked her to always send them an owl when Cera was in the Hospital Wing, that's why Cera wanted to avoid going to the Hospital Wing especially for an asthma attack. " If there's a book about it, I probably know all the facts stated in the book once I've read it." She laughed.

"I've read it over 10 times at the moment. Usually, I used to pass the time by playing the guitar for my family to listen to." Miko told her. The kid was really talented when it comes to music, kind of like a small Mozart except for guitar.

"Did you know, a Nundus can move completely and it's breath can wipe put an entire village?" He asked the girl. The lad figured she knew what a Hindus was since she mentioned having a photographic memory earlier. The Nundus is a lion-like creature that has deadly breath and can move very quietly.

Of course he knew this, he's a magical creature fan and expert in training. Miko is especially in love with big creatures like the giant spider that Hagrid liked, he can never remember the actual name. In a way he was a little piece of Newt and Hagrid combined to make Miko Limof.

If the boy was ever asked to sing or play a song on an instrument, he would give it his all. Miko's all is a lot and with music sounds quite extraordinary! Although he was a great musician, he never gave himself credit for it since he thought everyone was like him. He was aware his family thought he was great and all, but they could never say that he was bad at music.

Cera nodded at Miko "It's a good read" She said referring to fantastic beasts "And yes I know about that fact." This boy was knowledgeable in that aspect, magical creatures. It was evident he knew what he was talking about and that he was a real fan boy of the topic. It wasn't everyday that Cera met an avid Magical creature fan. Cera liked magical creatures as well. Well the idea of adventure that comes with travelling the world to see magical creatures was what she would look forward too, but of course seeing magical creatures were always aw inspiring. Humbling almost. It was something else

"Oh you play the guitar?" Cera couldn't play an instrument if her life depended on it. She loved to sing through. She had a Soprano voice and could sing very high notes but playing instruments was something she cannot do. She's wanted to learn how to play the piano for a while now but she never got around to doing it. It was more of a regret than a frustration. She knows that she can probably learn now but would she have the time? Between her reading and her adventuring, unless that piano was outside she'd probably just go outside and take walks. "That's cool." She added.
