My dad hates me. And my sister. I’ve given up trying to hang out and spend time with him, but don’t tell my mom, I miss him sometimes.
That’s nice! I’m not really much of an artist myself but I will occasionally do some doodling.
I’m only going to one of the balls. Just the student run one. I’ll be there though. You got the howler!? I know what your hair looks like then, so if I spot you, I’ll say hi.

Ooh, another thing we have in common. My dad cannot stand me, either. Well, he's a lawyer and always busy, so he's very much emotionally absent. Definitely closer with my mom than I am with him.
I'm also going to the student run ball, I think? Though I'm not looking forward to it, since the person I sort of like is going with someone else... Feelings are messy and I'm not sure where I stand.

Exactly. My mum has actually done multiple things for me that at the time ive hated, but now am glad she did. Like over winter break she taught me how to use make up, but at the time I hated it and now I’m sorta glad so I can wear it to the ball.
I hope they have good food there, not that the house elves are bad cooks, but I’ve been kinda craving my mums food recently.
I only know what your hair looks like. Better than nothing though.
I’m gonna be honest here. January kinda has been a rough month for me. You know the girls who got sent to st. Mungos? One of those was my best friend.

Yeah, my mum sent me a bunch of makeup hoping I'd get into it, and not to say that she was exactly right, but… I have started to enjoy it a bit.
Yeah, I totally get that. Lately I’ve been craving my mum’s pastries and other baked goods. Being at home might be a pain, but the food my mum makes is to die for. She’s the only good thing I look forward to when school lets out for breaks.
I’m sorry to hear that. I recently had a… rival of mine basically drop off the face of the earth. He was the kid I got in trouble for punching. I think he got pulled out of school? But, yeah. I get that.
I've found an outfit to wear that I won't hate, so I guess that's a plus.

Totally agree with that. My mum isn’t the best cook in the world, but her food is different than any other food that anyone makes.

Thats great! My mum found new outfits and tried to sneak them in my trunk. I let her cause maybe she would be happy if I wore them? I know one is a green dress, but I’m not gonna wear that to the ball.

It's really weird that I'm able to open up this much to you, considering I try not to do just that. And that it took such a short time for me to do so. I usually try not to be vulnerable or really let people get 'close' to me, since in the past it's only led to disaster, but, well. You can probably see how well that's going for me.
Haha, yeah, I don't think green's included in the color scheme. It's a good spring color, though. My mum sent me about a dozen outfits, and only two weren't dresses and were applicable to the color scheme of 'red, pink or white'. One was a romper-type outfit, but it was pastel pink, and the other's
similar to a pantsuit. That one's red.
Give you one guess which one I chose to go with.

Honestly… I completely agree. I opened up to my friend Ava… but it turns out she had a whole other side to her, that I had no idea about.
It’s definitely not included. I’d bet you a galleon that she put other outfits in there… but without even looking, I know that at the bottom of my trunk there is one or two or maybe seven neatly folded dresses. Aaaand I bet one of them is pink or red.

That is a good first instinct, one I happen to share with you. I also prefer to build up walls so that it's hard for anyone to really get to know me too well, because that way I'm less likely to get hurt.
Gross, lace. Though sometimes it can be appealing... in rare occasions. Even the pink outfit I almost wore anyways, because I liked the style, until I saw the red one.
...Yeah, I'd say so. That's mostly why I'm going, or otherwise I would spend the entire night in my dorm eating discounted chocolate frogs and sulking. My crush Someone I've taken to liking a bit (and has been giving me mixed signals) will be there, with someone else, and I don't know exactly how I feel about that. I kind of want to strangle a pillow since they've had my brain spinning in circles and I don't know what they want with me...
And I don't even want all this drama anyways...
