First Breakfast (with people?)
Madison had a funny feeling in her chest as her and the two other students walked up to the great hall. It was a confusing directory, at least for her. Finally she walked into the great hall. The shock from the previous night had not worn off; the candles were still a slight surprise. It looked just as majestic and regal, but it had a strong (pleasant) smell of bacon to it. There weren't as many kids, considering most people don't wake up at 5am. Madison was also dragging along her trunk, and made her way to the Hufflepuff table. Again, there were few kids, but what looked to be a second, maybe third year sat about seven seats away, with a few others scattered. Suddenly her empty plate was full of delicious food; french toast in particular. She had seen this last night, but like the candles, it was still interesting.Date: 9/2/22 | Time: 5:25
She decided to wait to eat, looking around; a little creature with bat-like ears came running out of nowhere in the distance. That feeling of family was still there, as she saw a group of kids enter. She wondered if the food was cooked by "employees" (a muggle thing) or magic, like how her mother did it.

Since it wasn't easy to find a group of empty seats most days because there were so many students, it was a great luxury for often popularity-concerned first and second years to leave for the Great Hall very early in the morning to find seats with their friends. However, on a morning like this, some of the more reclusive and shy first years found their way to the farthest end of the tables. So, that's exactly what the three fast-made friends did. They circled around the table together, Atticus sitting across from Marietta and Madison. They all looked around the beautifully decorated Great Hall and soaked in the atmosphere. They quietly enjoyed their breakfast for a while before sipping on tea and chatting for a bit before classes began for the day.
Atticus, having returned his book to his back and become much more invested in the conversation, picked his saucer and teacup up to his mouth and, before taking a sip, asked the two girls, "So, what classes do you guys have today?"

Marietta sat and chatted with the other two slowly becoming more comfortable with them. Of curse before they began talking they took a second to soak in the dining hall. Though she'd already seen it last night Marietta couldn't help but admire the floating candles and thousands of people in the hall. It was beyond stunning. Marietta also enjoyed the magically appearing food; devouring what ever appeared in front of her especially if it was glazed. She pretended to drink and enjoy the tea in front of her secretly wishing for apple-juice rather than this hot leaf juice. They mostly talked of books most of which Marietta knew nothing about or had heard mentioned in passing. Though she got very excited when she got to talk about the magical creatures she'd been learning about in Fantastic beasts and where to find them. "So, what classes do you guys have today?" Atticus asked, Marietta shuffled around her satchel to find her schedule. "Double defense against the dark arts, magic a history, lunch, then transfiguration, flying and herbology. Heh busy day-I think" Marietta said unsure how much fun each lesson was. "How about you two?" she'd ask a part of her hoping they had some class together today.Date: 9/2/22 | Time: 5:56
