It was another ordinary day of exploring the castle and learning all of the hallways and hidden corridors before Atticus began his classes. He was walking down a hall with a rather high ceiling and large moving stone staircases when he happened upon a mostly empty and quiet room. He decided to step inside and rest his feet for a while, and maybe do a bit of reading for his classes to see if anything could be self-taught. He sat down and opened his bag, reaching in and pulling out the book on the subject that seemed the most logical place to begin; A History of Magic. He opened up to the table of contents, skimming through to see if there were any words he recognized. When nothing stuck out, Atticus flipped to the first page and began to read.

After what seemed like eons, Atticus realized that the words were all blurring together and he wasn't absorbing any of the information. He decided that it would be far more productive to discuss with a more educated peer or a teacher, and slammed the book closed, somewhat embarrassed at his inability. He instead decided to put his books away and begin to explore the study room. He put his book away and slung his bag back over his shoulder.

He walked deeper into the room, running his hand along the wooden bookshelves and the exposed stonework. He admired the cozy and quiet atmosphere, lamenting that he would likely make no use of it today. He found a stack of textbooks, all of which seemed old with their pages yellowed. He picked up a few and thumbed through them, skimming the words as he had before. This world still felt so foreign to him, all of the new language, the new people, the new responsibilities. The last week had been a lot of weight on Atticus's shoulders. But this room... it was so peaceful. He began imagining studying here, reading, and writing essays. He found himself looking forward to spending a lot of time in this room.

He was pulled from his daydreaming by the sound of the door opening and closing. He quickly closed the book he was holding and returned it to the top of it's stack, sneaking towards the entrance to see who had come in. As he peeked around the end of the row of bookshelves, he saw the door settle closed into its frame, and heard footsteps getting closer, but whoever it was was just out of his view. He waited for them to round the corner to see who it was.

Pandora left the common room and headed for the stairs with her bag on one shoulder and her bunny Tia on the other. She didn't know where to go. But her mind needed to be distracted.

Pandora was walking around with Tia on her shoulder. At this time, she was trying to do whatever he could to distract his mind, but it wasn't working. Although Tia on her shoulder was aware of this situation, no matter how sweet she tried to be, it didn't work.

She didn't want to go to the library, so she was wondering if I should go back to the common room when she heard a voice coming from one of the classrooms. She hesitated for a moment to enter, but thinking of what would happen most, she entered.

The fact that the place seemed empty made Pandora even more frightened. She was about to leave the classroom when Tia jumped over her shoulder and went a little deeper into the classroom. Even if she was afraid, he should have taken his rabbit. She took his wand and stepped further into the classroom.

It didn't take long for him to meet eye to eye with a boy. She screamed. But he was suddenly distracted by a light emanating from his wand. It was luck that she missed the kid by a few inches.

"I-I'm so sorry. Are you okey?"

Upon arrival at Hogwarts one of the young boys first goals was exploration of the large castle. As soon as he received some free time, he did just that. Passing through the halls admiring whatever caught his attention at the time. This curiosity eventually led the young Hufflepuff to the Study room. For all your educational last minute study needs. Or maybe you actually knew how to manage your time wisely and studied on time like any reasonable person? Either way it made no difference to Antonio who currently walked around the practically empty room. Well emptier than he would expect for a study room? Was it because most students chose to study at the library with more resources at their disposal? Or was it just because it was early on in the year?

Antonio felt as though the latter was more likely, this room was too cozy in his opinion to not study in. Or maybe fall asleep and take a long nap while you're studying before a big test only to wake up and realize you're in a major predicament. The boy ran his fingers against the book's spines as he walked near the room's bookshelf. The textures varied from smooth, to bumpy, to the occasional fur lined book. The topics of the books seemed to range with their texture, going from random books he could only assume were written by muggles to worn down school textbooks. Stopping to pull one out, he wondered who would leave their textbooks here. Was it by accident or something similar? Or maybe they just wanted to help some other students out? Maybe Antoniio could find an old textbook a student left behind on magical creatures.

Antonio would be elated if he could find one, that would be more information for him to read on these amazing magical creatures. Information he would still need to learn and information that would prove to be true as it was information that was learnt from a professor who taught the subject at some point. Speaking of, if he did visit the actual library there was no doubt he would find more books on the subject. Books he could rely on that the information was valid.

Oh, coming to Hogwarts really was going to prove to be amazing yet.

“Ah!” The boy exclaimed, dropping the book with a thump, startled by the sudden scream from within the room. Standing perfectly still for a moment as he took deep breaths, calming his racing heart down.

“What in the world was that?” He said to himself, as he bent down to pick up the fallen book. Quickly putting it away and trying to find out where the scream had come from. “Is someone hurt?” Wrapping his hand around the nearby wall as he turned the corner he came face to face with two other students.

“Is everything okay?”

Atticus was met face-to-face with a girl about his own age, obviously in distress about something. Her sudden rounding around the bookshelf made him jump, and she screamed and suddenly pulled out her wand, shooting a beam of light out of the end. I missed his head narrowly, making him startle backward, throwing his arms over his head. A quill and some coins fell out of his bag, which he quickly bent down to collect, glancing back up at her in fear.
"I-I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" She asked, one hand covering her mouth as she reached down to help, handing the boy a loose piece of parchment that had drifted to the floor.
"No, no. I'm... fine." He chuckled nervously as they both stood and faced each other again. He tucked his belongings messily under one arm and fixed his glasses upwards on his nose before reaching out his hand for the girl to shake. "I'm sorry, my name is-" He barely got a few words out before a young boy around the same age as the pair rounded the opposite end of the bookshelf, sounding very concerned in a language Atticus couldn't really understand, save for a few words. He stepped forward to greet the boy and explain, "Hi, hey we're fine. We just scared each other," He reached out his hand once more to attempt another introduction. "Hey man, I'm Atticus."

While Pandora was still in shock, the boy was about to introduce herself when she heard another man's voice. Okay, so she was able to pull herself together.

"Nice to meet you, Atticus. My name is Pandora." She looked at the other boy "So, What is your name?"

Then she remembered her bunny and quickly glanced around the classroom. She was staring at them on a table. She quickly went there and took her rabbit and put it on her shoulder. When she came back to the children, she felt the need to explain.

"I came here because of this trouble. But it made me meet you, and I think that's a good thing."

Okay, she talked too much. But she was right. I hope they agree on that too, she thought. When she felt she needed to talk a little more, she began to speak.

"So, can you tell us a little about yourself? What is your house? I never saw the two of you in our common room."

Okay, she talked too much. She looked around for a bit of silence. It wasn't her first time here. But most of the time she came to study. She reached into her bag and took out Bunbun Pellets and handed them to her bunny.
