Studying Flora with Flora PV Flora Harrison Closed

Date and Time: Feb 20, Afternoon after class

Tes could admit, even to herself, that she didn't exactly have the best track record for studying in the library. Sure, she'd been at Hogwarts long enough that she'd finally admitted defeat and had a few days spent reading in a quiet corner by herself, but that didn't mean she had to spend all her study time there. Most of her studying was done in the comfort of her dorm room, but she'd been craving some change of pace. Seeing as it was too cold outside to study, she'd gone in hunt of the old classroom that had been repurposed into a study room according to the older students.

Once she had found it, she was surprised by how it was set up. She wouldn't necessarily call it cozy, because it was in no way like the warm rugs and plush couches of the common room, but the lack of windows and books and everything else certainly made it less distracting than even the quiet of the library. Tes was disappointed to admit that even she might have an easier time studying in this room, but it still wasn't as inviting as a good tree to climb and read in.

Just because it wasn't the library didn't mean she would voluntarily spend her time studying alone however, and she scanned her eyes across the room to find someone to sit with that she hopefully wouldn't bother all too much. The room was practically empty, and even quieter than the library. Enough so she felt guilty approaching someone, but not guilty enough to not do it. Spotting a girl on the shorter end sitting by herself with a flower crown in her hair, Tes made her way over. It was fitting, since she was here to study for herbalism after all! Sitting down opposite from the girl at the desk she was using, Tes stuck out a hand with a friendly grin in greeting. She kept her voice quieter than her usual introductions and whispered, "Hiya! I'm Tesla Stone, but you can call me Tes. I'm a first year Hufflepuff. What's your name?"
